Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

- Organize focus group(s)
& {0 @6 i+ t/ I5 ?0 I- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program

Qualifications:
1 n; J1 q( v4 G) f& q
5 _( \3 C( }$ a9 P4 X( f% g2 ]6 H- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
; [: C' ]& ^2 d+ z- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
5 i) a2 a+ ^2 q- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
! o9 m  C" D0 M5 u- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Salary

1 K1 r4 x7 _0 E) G4 D, u1 U5 V: Q. a- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
