Position Overview This Corporation is a multidiscipline engineering, geomatics and planning consulting firm with offices in major centers throughout Western Canada. We are currently seeking a Transportation Engineer – Intermediate to Senior to join our Calgary team.; {6 q3 k! y. y- v" X4 c
Responsibilities In this position, you will:
: a; n& o) Q1 I• Plan and design major road and highway projects;
) m8 a3 \, l4 e# S• Ensure that you provide exceptional service to clients with roadway functional, preliminary and detailed design services as part of a team;/ B! F2 @# O* M6 E
• Prepare roadway designs including: plans; reports; cost estimates; and specifications. 0 a% ?) H. |/ Q& A/ Z/ k
• Prepare contract documents and review and evaluate tenders for projects;
) o( a& M3 { w; d, a• Supervise technicians, technologists and other engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates. |
