Help! --Chinese input

I have done everything i can but my chinese input still doesn't work! this is waht i have done:
$ N" j; L. r& X" z; |0 A
$ \* {) J! j, Y, b2 MControl panel -- Date, time, language and rigional options -- add another language--languages--details --Add Chinese(PRC)
7 l- @* O5 V  v, z8 e9 Y4 B
A "language bar help" icon (shown as a question-mark icon)then appears on my desktop bottom bar instead of language bar. I can do nothing further.

2 I/ m0 s7 _. t9 b* ?. y2 t9 PI am desperated! Anyone can advise? Thanks!!

你是用XP吗？想想当初你装OS时候是否将支持东方语言的软件包同时安装上呢？
