Housing Program Worker

: ?* g! \$ Y! i: LKey Responsibilities:
) |/ K) p! W  g! i' v- I( `% D# ] To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
$ P5 r$ |5 }- e# Q To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
7 m5 k& H/ h2 \% z( t To help promote the program in the community.
, F7 L5 s$ {' {  f: I/ s To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
' b6 s, ?" }% K+ o  B, F9 t To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
) W8 ~2 z- }7 }$ c Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
' ~! H( m4 H8 p; J# w Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
