Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
5 E; V( R4 V( Z8 x- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
' R- }: v, V6 F: O" n, j% w- Recruit children for summer program
2 |/ e- G! @2 z) P' a- Provide orientation for parents
6 L; d7 \! A3 N; Z9 @! \- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
! A7 w: M  ^  y- t- Prepare final report for funding agency

$ E& r* y0 V3 i) G1 N0 h9 ?- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
+ W( @# Q: ^9 y( {  _& \0 a- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
8 {/ _8 M* G7 A( R% i+ o- communication skills
- Z& |; M* Q7 d9 \( X9 w- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- p) n; P2 `# P' H6 Q: I: g9 Z- good computer skills
7 h" F0 Q& x9 E8 E! ]- leadership abilities
5 A/ ~7 }6 [( ?4 j- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
