Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
" `+ W" Q5 e$ BResponsibilities:
& `9 j& C9 t. O( ?& v+ ^' Q- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
2 P1 V- m3 K) C- Q- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
% U, s% A. T  k6 L" y- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:

" Q8 }% J: z  `5 g2 u" G- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
3 G3 m. V# l0 v$ W6 M' V- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
/ q+ k- v% Y$ p1 q- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
1 w# `; U) ~9 H- d$ c- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
