The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department.  The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload.  The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.; r- n, \" c9 `# H( M

Job Duties/Responsibilities:& q- L9 ]4 G3 F0 @0 ?# F" ^: }
•        Human Resources Management' z" b: V0 y+ }0 H3 P, Z
•        Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities
9 C" R' z! g& v1 T•        Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors ; s6 R, N: }% Z9 L7 c5 T
•        Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities. j* ~: `- @' L! W# k" ^0 g
•        Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet         requirements for delivery of services
# M' V9 X( P1 ]2 j6 B•        Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities& K# m. e7 E" l. z3 C9 B4 k

  u. |$ u. L/ O- v  cProgram Delivery
+ H- I) U; e5 @  K% _0 [* e•        Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program
7 L7 w" e9 ~1 s•        Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes3 k1 e3 y( h6 P9 l4 C5 C+ v
•        Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required
/ \- f. q, E0 P) n" t•        Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
9 e6 h# n9 a0 A2 g2 H•        Review service action plans and support programs as requested7 M" {* p* u2 [5 X  ?0 |* V6 g( w1 a
•        Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department4 j/ S/ W3 @! {6 D7 A
•        Work closely with the Director to develop appropriate standards and procedures for the program

•        Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director
- |, v- h, O( T  W0 E•        Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
1 D) U$ d/ A' D" E! e; h•        Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required+ H* @4 [& Z. A! M1 r. d% G
! w7 i* l- `3 x/ F' t% S+ R% T
Qualifications:
; {9 v: a8 `( E5 Z& I; ^& e& D, U, q% n2 A  A- I
•        Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field( u1 L  J" l% m: F% `) u+ s
•        Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities
1 P/ F/ I- i$ I$ y•        Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience/ L4 W  g+ e" T9 ?1 u! D
•        Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations; X% z' j( ~6 ?& D; w9 u
•        Ability to interact in a positive manner with a diverse population
, G7 [# B2 w/ U" B2 A) L2 [•        Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office
