The YWCA has an opportunity for an individual to make a significant difference in the Services for Persons with Disabilities department. The Lead Program Coordinator will be an essential part of the department by mentoring a team of Program Coordinators.

This position is full-time position (37.5/week) with flexible work hours to meet the needs of the department team and individual caseload. The Lead Program Coordinator reports to the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities.

• Human Resources Management$ J. ~$ B' {0 a: P# i( v
• Support approximately eleven Program Coordinators in the execution of their duties and responsibilities ) W2 ~5 n( W8 r9 k: e
• Oversee the training, supervision and evaluation of department direct service staff and contractors / C; y+ h; h) n: \0 k! \! f' p
• Provide coaching and leadership to assist staff in expanding their capabilities1 h9 i4 X' ]( {4 [( ?
• Ensure adequate levels of staffing are maintained, in order to meet requirements for delivery of services
% l$ \" g. Q4 @( J9 o' m• Act as liaison person between Program Coordinator team and the Director of Services for Persons with Disabilities

• Coordinate a minimal caseload of individuals in the program ' Z. j3 j" w7 ? j d# s/ ^
• Monitor service delivery for quality supports by providing feedback and support as needed for client intake processes4 e" v }( T6 {3 `) V) f! x% F7 H
• Ensure compliance with standards of service delivery; facilitate process for program re/certification as required0 m6 m. N1 K/ H
• Review all incident reports, provide input for follow-up action and communication
! L9 ?( W+ L! R7 R: u5 q: I• Review service action plans and support programs as requested- h; j; Y1 ^6 A" q9 A4 k1 o
• Ensure program policies and procedures are met and followed by department

• Implement service modification, as required: B e+ J' \: |8 W j) N- E0 J9 ^( O: R

Administration
! t- F' D/ ]# m) N' p4 n7 G+ e• Collect monthly reports from Program Coordinators and forward to the Director& K$ z |+ y/ O7 B
• Screen external program documentation and where necessary bring to the Director for review
& O' ]& R8 e. ?6 K• Update program files and documents are with current information and documentation, as required

* y3 M0 b0 I) S' c; A: y; g3 J' S: R Z" z+ q
• Post Secondary education in Social Work, Rehabilitation or related human service field
& V! i$ N. j" N9 n) p D• Minimum of 5 years experience with individuals who have physical and/or developmental disabilities: V- Y8 m7 H) e* b! ^5 U
• Minimum of 4 years demonstrated management and/or supervisory experience
8 D) _+ n5 |& Q7 G+ M, b5 L• Vehicle and valid driver's license is required to be able to respond to emergency situations

• Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office+ M6 h# `* R# e) W, r3 ~
