CSSA Spring Trip to Jasper on May 21, 22, and 23.

CSSA will organize a Spring Trip to Jasper from May 21 to 23, 2005.
% x( Q2 d4 T) ~* X+ x- R: h) n5 k9 uActivities include sight viewing, canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge, and

spring at Miette Hot Springs.
+ A8 l  S( r( KWe will go to Jasper by mini-van rented by CSSA and driven by CSSA
! D9 j( G2 Q' g* I! h% uVolunteers.
We'll stay there for two nights. Accommodations are arranged by CSSA.
You are
responsible for your own meals during this trip. Please refer to the

Day One
-        Ride to Jasper by mini-van.(7 people per minivan)
2 G/ n4 ^) Q) |* a$ ~/ T& _! F- G# o0 L-        Canoeing at Jasper Park Lodge.($35 per canoe per hour and $25 per
half
/ C& \5 b* ~$ U3 Hhour)(Each canoe can hold 3 people at most.)
, q$ t, d5 {7 Y-        Hot spring in Jasper for the evening.(Usually hot spring costs about
$6 per
4 Y, `! O  {. O# i8 a# `7 M3 rperson. So it's not that expensive. And after knowing how many people

Day Two
) X  X- G% Z0 O, ~7 o-        Sight Viewing in Japer: We'll go Maligne Lake first thing in the
morning .
And we'll do the Malign Boat Cruises.(I'll take us 90 minutes round
trip. It's
3 b$ t, E5 V4 V  U% [$35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12years old)). If you haven't done
this
before, I strongly recommend you to do so.
-        Stays the night in Jasper and no activities in day 2's evening so
that you
could visit the town by yourself, or go to the bar and have a drink or
9 T! W9 r( o5 M6 \  Q( W" mso.

Day Three
# c3 @. m3 V! K" d4 N# e% w( a-        Sight-viewing in Jasper continues.
-        Ride home in the early afternoon since we need to return the rented
van on
time.

3 G1 V. D, d- b& |' g0 zThings to Bring:
-        Travel needs.
-        Swim suit if you want to do Hot Spring.
% @8 m7 `' i, i( U: J9 A-       Sun glasses and sun screen to protect your eyes and skin.
; D2 S# b9 v& r, B-       Camera. It's beautiful in the mountain in the spring.
! N4 j) M1 ^5 o-       Bring some warm clothes since it's still cool in the mountain
in the
* J8 d  b1 X7 \3 I% Q. Ylate May. And we also will go to the Columbia Ice Field so warm clothes
7 \" ?* g8 E, h! R$ ~and
shoes are definitely needed.
-       Wear comfort shoes cause we'll do lots of walking and of course
drving.(But you won't need to worry about the driving).
  v+ K8 g1 |8 P; x/ c. m# s5 ^-       We won't take care of the food for you, but we'll stop at
places where
7 ?+ _* Q5 Y' Y* j# M5 Fthere are food at lunch or dinner hour, so you could have something to
eat.

# u& x8 A" `! H9 D# n/ dIGA in
Jasper, so you could always buy food there if you need.)

Cost: $160, this price includes your share of car rentals, gas,
two-night
accommodation in jasper, and national park entrance tickets, and it
excludes
the hot-spring, the canoeing, and the maligne Boat Cruises).
  ?/ w, ~$ t4 A6 r$ |Hot Spring ticket was about $6 in total according to last year's price.
  H1 \  m4 b- L6 D' DCanoeing is $35 per canoe per hour, $25 per half an hour.
Maligne Boat Cruises are $35 per adult and $17.5 per child(6-12 years
old).
When we come back from the trip, according to the expenses we'll return

& f8 g0 e7 E4 k3 R+ d' j9 K* mwinter, everyone will have returned money finally. And when we come
