The academic qualification for Professional Engineer is not only just one exam of law & ethics. First, you have to hold a BSc degree in "engineering" Second, you must have at least 4 years real engineering experience which includes at least one year experience in Canada. So you need to find a real engineering job before you can apply.

) [: ~/ S+ t! y- n" Z5 yYou may be requested to pass 1-9 academic tests to comfirm your ability and a Law & Ethics national exam.

This seems to me conflicting because many engieer jobs ask for licence, while licence asks for Canadian experience (job). These two thing ask for each other, it is a cycle, wield, isn't it? Is it possible to find an engineer job without licence? If job is first, then I will try job first. Thanks for your very helpful answers.

(with EIT, you can use "Engineer (EIT)" as your title legally.)

I know three friends found first engineer job in canada by refering their china experience then applied for it. Maybe I am assuming it is possible to work as P.E without licence.

* k/ R) p$ K  ?, i, J6 [% ^you confused P.Eng and licence. P.Eng is a kind of licence to practice engineering, without P.Eng, you still can find a job in engineering, but you cannot stamp the work and must be supervised by a person with P.Eng.

十年移民路说的很对,我认识的许多人也都是直接找到工程师的工作的.其实我认为最好的方法还是找到工程师的工作之后在申请P.Eng
