The remains of a man reported missing in early March were found in a wooded area near a golf course in the city's northwest yesterday afternoon. " \; P6 U( | y! s' L; _" h4 \! G9 T! t+ m& P* ~& F& V1 Q
Police said the remains, discovered near 137 Avenue and 170 Street, have been identified as 54-year-old Robert Stauffer. His death is not considered suspicious. ( i) E; k: K5 k# O# c# h' E) W. t
Stauffer had not been seen or heard from since Jan. 24 after he attended a medical appointment. As this was not the first time he lost contact with his family, they did not report him missing until March 6. # j1 v4 m3 O/ D# D1 o7 v! K$ \" W$ g3 C( ?6 c/ r1 k
His family had been concerned for his health and safety as he suffered from several serious medical conditions, police said
