Housing Program Worker

( G7 a* Z; g; X$ K* z5 CKey Responsibilities:
: {' Q0 E; S8 ?& _! P1 h To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
  ^( P1 |/ G. h  f/ o: R To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
 To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
/ K) B- G; z0 w1 Y% n# g To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
* ~& L0 M" H' b4 p% w  L To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
/ f: ]1 A  k7 O 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
1 X9 T* G* k# U9 A9 S Current CPR and First Aid certifications
/ H& J) {  G$ H$ j' h Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
