Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
. }/ o; Z7 X( f  M* m3 y7 ^. Y: M To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
 To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
+ Y2 u! F# k3 k To help promote the program in the community.
3 j' V  l! n5 C: {1 g To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
1 e% ~" J. q3 X; v To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
 To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
8 }. n& n% s, b0 j To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

Qualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
 Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
! ~- G8 I" s1 ^2 `) S( }+ b Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
 Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
