Housing Program Worker

Key Responsibilities:
 To plan, organize and implement residential and housing support programs for adults and families who access the YMCA’s Transitional Housing Program.
  |( b/ x! B, B7 [ To assist residents to register for on-site housing and support programs
 To help promote the program in the community.
% y$ k; Z3 `2 Z, }9 f9 k To provide some evening and weekend program supports.
 To supervise volunteers assigned to the program.
% F; }$ H5 s2 s4 o. z1 w2 g: X) j/ z To document assigned activities and prepare reports as necessary.
 To operate within the approved budget and follow all YMCA Policies and Procedures.
 To contribute as a member of our staff team in the operation of the Transitional Housing Program.

  ^( T" x' L# e- r9 uQualifications:  (Applicants must meet all qualifications to apply)
 2 years education as a post secondary student in Human Services or Social Work
. t) M0 _9 T# r+ r Experience in human services, social housing and/or work with high needs populations.
 Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
 Current CPR and First Aid certifications
' i# W1 \$ f, W) }$ a4 R7 t Completed, current & cleared Child Welfare Check & Police Security Clearance
