Responsibilities:
- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
4 G! x  e& s/ ~2 q" c- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
7 Y) ?  ~4 Q% g- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
* I5 V3 l. E* {- W; X& k( b2 V- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
3 G) m9 a( V/ Q, R) m1 h. @. S; d
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
2 Q+ d9 y& r* m$ z/ ^- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
% ]' E# _' f6 S$ U9 P+ D7 I- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
