' d3 A# n4 ]! r0 pSummer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
" a- Q& \1 S6 z3 A1 `- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
% U  u  w9 [4 t3 i: }1 u
- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
$ u* Q' j6 H+ W: \6 d+ H9 v- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- [$ E$ n, H4 d- [% }& `) U& V- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary

/ B1 Q4 R* `* @3 X2 |. J- $10.50/hr for 30 hours/week, June 1 to August 31, 2005
