Job Description
/ ?* \) Q/ Z. s9 k4 b- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
?5 w& i& u, v& J provide services for Chinese community% t3 L. a7 O5 q7 [2 `$ h# i
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population ' S- R/ u; M; C2 n) ?) M% M# J
access to mainstream services' x7 t4 n/ {+ T; B& Z
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
# t7 I5 d# R8 O* T+ d social services
+ {* I. Q! u7 e0 v9 T3 v% k- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
/ Q, i- z9 f# \, n- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
8 _2 K! {8 S/ u. S' b+ Q. w7 ~- update ASSIST website+ U- [$ z9 q# s
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre, @" x* O$ X, }
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
& M7 O- |) A. ?, |4 U" E" F- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
+ a$ O7 a7 f( T5 U1 r- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 3 o0 V4 b, ^8 A
experience and education
. d1 f% S4 @' q7 ^' l- good oral and written Chinese and English skills7 b$ Z7 ~) E& j r" x! H% ?
- experience in community work and immigrant services
; Q6 u$ S# C& j8 n0 r L- t- experience in website update/design' l! L8 ^: `8 l: o7 s. N# e
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset. z2 w; G k7 O+ `, |
