Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to : m" V: F; H7 ]) i/ Q1 T+ }3 q
provide services for Chinese community5 @1 J: U% v* [1 n
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 1 Q# \9 |; y5 i: @8 ?2 x
access to mainstream services; P, E8 S- S: p+ [- z
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
- _* H) p, w) l" e7 o social services5 `" h- e& q# P
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies/ u3 k- Y2 F; G0 V% j7 I5 \# n4 w
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members9 n9 d" l9 k! l4 x6 L8 r( }
- update ASSIST website
! R" q) } L& T- |- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre2 H4 E! r" k* q# P# n
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- update membership database

$ S( i& r4 w7 ~, a5 `; `& c( j- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
7 g+ n) ?, D" k. H experience and education
& j, g7 B* ^) Z% D- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
% q& h/ O. E W5 y, G; V- experience in community work and immigrant services& `) V1 j8 v' w" b3 z
- experience in website update/design
" y4 }/ D0 k! `- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset& D5 M7 p. u4 k" P$ I
