Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
0 z0 L) \8 B4 n provide services for Chinese community( U. e; h/ E) }
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population * d3 C% y9 ^7 Y
access to mainstream services
2 G/ E, D. Y5 k" f- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies6 Y% Q0 g. Q& o7 @4 j% I3 u4 A6 }' [
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members1 f4 j b1 E/ T" i( V
- update ASSIST website
$ v) Q" U- k: J1 y2 I- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

Qualifications- U, y# A9 ~1 _% g! u4 _
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 6 }* C( _5 j* B% V4 p) c# |
experience and education
, c9 ~$ }0 |4 z+ G5 W' G- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
( L6 _4 z% p' J$ H+ a. e6 J, v' h- experience in community work and immigrant services" x& `% N% @' d5 B
- experience in website update/design! N% M/ F# S) ^5 Q
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
