Position title: Community Development Worker
R5 v0 R2 O# D1 jTerm: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to - N8 Z2 v# O0 y

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 9 V$ p2 T; [+ |; i7 q
access to mainstream services
0 B5 {3 S/ M$ B% Z+ K, X6 D- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

5 U0 n6 }+ t5 q- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
5 Q# H, U2 k% W8 J7 A _+ C- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members& l( \( V* y8 O! a2 c$ }
- update ASSIST website7 g8 J7 m0 M8 q3 T. B
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
5 @4 k) g! |( X$ e$ f7 r- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- update membership database

) E2 J( K/ I9 [; K7 ^+ i- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
4 I8 @. J2 T [/ V- experience in community work and immigrant services
% R/ i3 `8 p3 m: B9 N; W8 E: D- experience in website update/design0 m$ f: m2 `% u5 J6 H. o! W
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
