- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
" r+ T. }6 ]: i/ F" r provide services for Chinese community
3 Q' B! V& f! z6 b- K& r1 o: m2 U- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 8 ]4 Q* W. q7 _
access to mainstream services
/ u$ E% G3 l, j0 `- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ! Y" I j; X' O
social services) ]3 n( ^5 L T
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
6 I9 E* m3 B& T+ ^; z& f: x4 `- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
: t5 |4 g- V' Z9 P- update ASSIST website
/ d0 |( H5 W3 K/ K7 A U- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre' {" S) _% l5 k. c' n
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services" S5 `5 S" q/ R
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
L' a: a, o( j+ N2 S4 x2 @- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
) N. p3 b- ~. W% w/ j& v experience and education
! [3 ]" G+ Z$ N- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
5 J' |) ?. @+ @3 f8 h& S+ t/ g- experience in community work and immigrant services% ~- i" C7 j! B
- experience in website update/design7 Z# B3 x8 e2 m7 I& }' r
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
" b7 V/ y6 L& g: j$ s* w* q% T8 ~: A, j/ }- h1 z* Y
