Position title: Community Development Worker

access to mainstream services

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies8 g$ h* C7 T! A/ @
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members$ p j }( L; a* {0 z
- update ASSIST website% }4 X% q( N6 }. a
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre; a# k1 k5 Q% n
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services: L: H1 U& a) P; i7 Z" G- |" ~
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time! I0 O% P2 v4 f; z! K4 t7 s' Z) h
- update membership database

Qualifications- W, G: J. I% d$ ~; r$ K
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
) o# ]. b+ y' [7 N2 Y experience and education : ^$ q2 ~& i/ e! E9 I9 t
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills$ K+ g1 H# q5 E8 s+ P; B' e0 q
- experience in community work and immigrant services
4 ^" t0 j- P7 v5 k) X' v; c- experience in website update/design/ ?% O; I4 K1 {# Q8 m# f: f) d
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset0 K" O) @7 m/ i; G4 U. J
