- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to 6 ~$ u" w4 y/ _, {2 K$ W
provide services for Chinese community
* g3 A, [) }/ Z. J- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
* f! t7 C. X* u* E access to mainstream services
- D* s) a) g6 |, O! K7 ?' A1 u- \- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ) {$ T' l5 P* _
social services
# O% K$ u9 p* L& `) G8 M) u- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies$ }$ e7 `: W' R+ P9 {- U+ f9 h- `' j
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre) v c: |: W* D% Z9 A8 r
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- update membership database

2 h+ q" `9 R* p9 i8 \) B- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of " u+ D0 {8 a) R4 {. k; \3 D
experience and education 9 X8 |6 G+ M$ M* I) i {3 T
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills! w+ F! z% [% `$ K- [9 j% I- o- ]/ i
- experience in community work and immigrant services
! z: X, c& v2 o+ x* l9 J2 a, D1 @7 C- experience in website update/design
5 [; q& Q4 \& u/ P4 s. o% z- e* U- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
