Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
4 U8 S2 s" p s# E4 \1 n) g& t* S provide services for Chinese community
1 v( t; n) y! }; I" n: z/ a- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
0 E9 l( b" X, r3 y; U+ b) u% B access to mainstream services8 ^0 p# Z( i' a/ a& w6 d+ l5 y
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of - _3 }/ g: S6 h3 m7 j7 y4 ]. r: ?
social services

- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

Qualifications
0 F0 {" x( k" _" {- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 9 M0 x' Z8 T% z6 U1 n9 F; m& n5 k5 s/ o, `
experience and education
5 I9 }! N. x2 o5 Z9 y6 ^3 i- good oral and written Chinese and English skills: C* t5 I. y0 g7 J8 \0 `
- experience in community work and immigrant services' r; b7 F4 O. o: l6 H) T
- experience in website update/design9 Q8 r: A6 {# N7 Y; s
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
