Job Description

provide services for Chinese community
- c/ J/ r4 X: n9 t' c" W+ V- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
' S9 G( n3 j) ^) p# O access to mainstream services
3 R: ~: _: b" q- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
; V# u/ u8 _2 k& W' O7 U social services8 m5 Y2 k7 M/ b2 P; S$ F
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies0 n: p% \+ q2 { c0 h H) N
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members# b# ?6 B$ y' j4 Q4 a
- update ASSIST website
% A; L5 @" ^* R5 x8 Q. e# c9 L- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
' N# U" k* J, [% G3 \, m& e4 F4 f- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services* r7 [( Y1 |. M4 ?
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time' x# N/ B& B" Z% r& g: ?

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

) N; I9 |3 Q/ |, a- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

- experience in community work and immigrant services

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset0 P o# ^+ v( l$ N% e% O$ E4 M
