Job Description

provide services for Chinese community
5 Z2 m9 x' t* k5 P9 _, g- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 0 c" R( j- Q& w1 u# M2 P
access to mainstream services
4 n, H L4 `9 N- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 2 ]5 K! d0 h9 m7 j/ q$ [
social services/ i |" y- M0 c
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
! I, z7 b+ h; e- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
9 [7 @; G$ m2 g; C1 i6 P- update ASSIST website
$ ~( G/ @6 I; U, j E- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills' a! u; ^6 y( h8 m' P8 u
- experience in community work and immigrant services& J$ [6 @, [0 R. q# |$ n
- experience in website update/design) x, @/ x i# F4 @3 f5 p. k$ O
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset" _3 o1 A! {. X- k- c2 p( _
