Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

: \1 j! B/ _+ l6 ]' i1 q- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to / {& h% L5 y( E( w2 ]9 P; m
provide services for Chinese community$ M' |6 U. ]0 o2 m" ]
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population - F$ `3 ]2 d! i4 w) U; l: l
access to mainstream services; H! e0 t9 P- q, T% F% t- {6 F4 W
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 1 a* J9 v( W; I' s r' I$ F/ S
social services8 a1 K0 j0 h# ]$ A/ s6 z( _7 W d
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
' f6 \% b' a$ |5 r' P1 u- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members( |! i) ~& Z& h. w \8 U1 j

- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications" h" o' z. y/ M3 D" F$ z
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
" p$ W! A) _- O. ], D' w- experience in community work and immigrant services( Z- Q. R* T9 `6 e8 G6 Y
- experience in website update/design
" D5 w* Y) R4 E: s- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
