Position title: Community Development Worker

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to 5 h. E2 b# I1 N9 y v
provide services for Chinese community. A% }) w3 `9 R4 U
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population , o, S% Y) K& T5 _; d G: a3 j3 o( I
access to mainstream services) ~* @. R k% U M6 y7 e5 T1 R3 f
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of : Y5 i# }' s6 r: k) Y \. @

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies; I+ a. J- B& G: g
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- update membership database

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of t# T6 X9 c1 Z: w" s
experience and education / {) I- g6 E# U
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills+ u: o2 K3 Y: r8 G" E1 K9 t6 v
- experience in community work and immigrant services
_# U) m% p8 `/ l- experience in website update/design
% t, V; i; `8 V8 S6 D- T. ?* h- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset2 u% S R" ?* I/ q; p
