Position title: Community Development Worker # _; Z d. b, O4 r5 B
Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to " Z8 I$ K" O2 p0 v8 c
provide services for Chinese community1 s* z2 x$ n, g' B( [( H
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
1 H/ ?, o3 w [+ l7 j* C) Y access to mainstream services
% P' ^1 Y% r. v- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of : u2 C1 x) } s+ E- M% a! k3 l& Q
social services: h( Z* s& e& u' g j8 e
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
$ H" g; B" J% K: y4 o1 h- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- update membership database
- ^' e1 M- X$ o2 ?- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 3 ~1 U: C+ n* l- L* d/ l; P
experience and education
. H) O) i; \7 [- good oral and written Chinese and English skills1 u3 Y7 {& N5 ]! r
- experience in community work and immigrant services
2 Q+ |- T1 b+ R1 {$ ?* @/ l- experience in website update/design
