- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to % g8 N& V! l: n! s! n+ [9 R) B
provide services for Chinese community
4 K" K/ P/ Q* B* h7 y' u- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population ( U% M* [ S: Y4 F, [ u) v
access to mainstream services
" J9 @0 n( Z6 i. ~* i. b4 j- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
8 F1 r; p. y4 s* a9 m social services
& W. o# W8 N8 P- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
2 l9 x( j8 t2 n- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members/ @' a4 S6 q! D
- update ASSIST website
% A5 J* Y( a" Q$ c$ m' r, a- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre3 c1 b9 j( |8 W& z+ Y4 e/ [
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
$ z+ K0 a) t% w) G8 ~4 j; M- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications* k" w$ u5 s' L
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
) s/ p- w# c! B4 ]. `6 W experience and education . ~+ @( o9 L1 ^) L
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
' E& T1 z9 t/ y' i; V5 J- experience in community work and immigrant services
8 a0 o5 C7 {) g" ^) }/ ]. e- experience in website update/design3 k8 } D* V% @9 o* t7 F
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
- l. V) @$ `0 p0 H! Z5 I
