Job Description

6 p! d% }4 L; l" o: W+ R- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population

- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of " I3 E% w# _" B- E- [
social services5 p4 l2 C2 ]3 z. | A% r9 A
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
, E8 |( c2 y3 l! C3 ^- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members8 W2 B3 q- T) U O
- update ASSIST website

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services! J3 Q4 ?. i6 m8 K( P% M0 w
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 4 [( \+ B. p, ^( h1 G6 d
experience and education : |( o- L' Z4 m
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
: D! k* M1 m" V( g- c5 J- experience in community work and immigrant services
5 T" I/ o, Z7 N! o- experience in website update/design
9 p: q j0 E$ Y- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
