- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
( u( y0 y/ K8 Z' \# U provide services for Chinese community' f' U: n8 T1 g( x
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population % W) m8 S1 ^ V1 c6 O
access to mainstream services! t* D5 F2 [$ r! A
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of " Z9 u8 G6 W3 H
social services
2 J. I8 d2 G6 ~. y9 v3 k$ s7 j- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies9 N [6 V! i" y; E4 S, K$ \
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members' B" G, s; I; z. J; b7 B
- update ASSIST website
+ n0 P0 Z& f& S3 D. a" I# \- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
0 _* ]( L/ I# N: @! ]2 t- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

Qualifications
. c9 c4 H; b3 Q* L- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of $ z1 @) t& d" G& H0 Z; R
experience and education # h! k0 [, I. A6 \/ E# {# q
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
5 j- H& e+ H5 n- v0 Z- experience in community work and immigrant services: }/ F% o8 i8 g7 h
- experience in website update/design* O6 @3 B+ D4 V. r5 O# f' k
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset- P1 p4 d& A( ^6 t7 q k6 j5 ~# C- c5 J
