- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
! S0 [9 _3 r2 W' U" j5 ?* T provide services for Chinese community3 M5 ^2 E" T/ X7 y, [
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
; x' ^* i: ~- j* u access to mainstream services% u8 k; O' ^7 J$ ?
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
+ z7 R6 Q% N" q- J social services
+ Z4 ~$ t3 M+ y. [3 |1 Y- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies- g5 k* N2 @3 ]! k3 U l
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members8 A% v% s' R- J* }, H+ B/ K
- update ASSIST website
( {) s! m. s& F% Q" X \1 h- m0 o- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

$ p! |- Q z9 z. B# a% K- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
% J! t; {/ \1 z experience and education - i9 {; a0 O3 m
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
! z8 l8 k; ?" u+ j; {- experience in community work and immigrant services4 j+ ] V) Z8 j
- experience in website update/design
) [% P' X/ |1 H7 O: U0 K( i1 v; ~- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
