Position title: Community Development Worker + K' _' w. x. E# s) c
Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population

- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ' u1 ?7 O, y' s$ s/ c; Q
social services
( L0 }% y! P+ A/ t( B- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
{) D+ U* l' x7 c# H- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members5 J% g( A8 G- D! q/ [4 ?
- update ASSIST website
( N R* S. _ r) e/ j- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills# g; A) o, U) i4 S3 O
- experience in community work and immigrant services

- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
