Job Description
. {+ I' I2 L7 f/ i2 F8 h- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
* {5 N c; ~- h; N provide services for Chinese community) P2 \% e0 f. z* `3 u# \9 B+ s
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
4 K7 B4 A- j3 Q4 D ] E% g( X access to mainstream services x' h8 f1 ?& e p0 m6 s
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
0 [, o; M( H! g7 j. a; P social services9 N+ H- `4 @/ y4 F0 j/ f
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies4 C/ ]+ J+ r9 m3 B" j. R
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members4 T9 D( b* K, ~" e+ n
- update ASSIST website7 B f6 G0 i$ E R1 R
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre5 U2 x& A$ E& e% B5 h' b
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
0 i, I9 m% l- @( Z( M- |' u" r- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications
. j2 s. Z# y/ V+ |1 l3 ^- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of : F3 `+ X5 b/ K! t/ m# D) S6 h
experience and education 1 P3 i. t1 g* p/ F) O9 y
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills' I0 {" j: y' `6 `5 h& T
- experience in community work and immigrant services3 l6 F6 Y3 d5 @# d# C
- experience in website update/design$ `+ S. x$ M# U
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset" M) L, {1 | h1 k! ]
