Job Description

" |# y) J0 Z+ j9 J5 w" w- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population `2 n/ B) {; A4 }& G; n" o1 R$ x
access to mainstream services9 N6 Q6 E- R+ U9 c
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
9 d' q* { `$ s3 j; L: q1 E. {; C social services
: i, y( O% \: ^% e* p- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies. ]: ^- e$ T3 m3 @2 c2 h; W
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
$ I6 A0 Y+ s8 a) q$ B; z3 m- update ASSIST website. N- B. H4 j0 r. O
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
! x2 R6 L+ m. [1 w4 [7 ]- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
/ X/ y# d4 h2 [$ t: L& y' y7 G- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications' n6 y! A- O2 D' J9 I) n3 F
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 9 {3 f$ b5 M* ]4 Z; W$ _6 l
experience and education
5 o& ~1 W- n5 s& y/ m( s: u6 ]- good oral and written Chinese and English skills) C0 {! K4 I8 ^4 {
- experience in community work and immigrant services
9 I3 x, H- O2 V. g3 V9 B7 o- experience in website update/design
0 t$ C$ ^: j6 J S, y, n- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset; o7 I" _: p1 R* ^) d$ ]
