- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to 1 Z# g2 `; ^( v5 Y( i/ ~- Y- Z
provide services for Chinese community F0 b& B( n: f2 e) T/ s9 U6 g
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
, f7 D2 Z# @4 _$ B( O7 j0 { access to mainstream services* B0 X- j# @3 J& F9 Q
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ; v( T9 e. k8 H) w$ c" F5 e, k
social services6 s& B5 K" R9 t
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies: w; a+ o: c7 j3 r u9 ?
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members. K2 q# Y; U5 i0 x6 H& O- g9 @# p, q
- update ASSIST website- ` B: \6 z8 |# i9 y; b1 R0 b
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre* b$ D" a; o, }/ \9 }2 b
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- update membership database

Qualifications4 |, T$ r7 _% P
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
2 B; c/ Y$ F) `" Y. L, w. ~ experience and education
1 y" m( d/ @) E% j" q, x Y) Z' {- good oral and written Chinese and English skills$ @8 d Z; m* c1 o2 q! T
- experience in community work and immigrant services
- U( p. J, @' ^0 I- experience in website update/design' H: k) N8 l. h: @7 U B
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset6 c+ [( V) P3 L& J4 |2 ?2 C
