- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
0 `( y9 I* K& {0 g: W provide services for Chinese community
4 |7 _6 X# E- w: o$ q* I- ~7 l9 D- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
8 u4 X/ T7 O1 `$ _2 E: n access to mainstream services+ [* [3 G; b- j8 G% I) q
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
8 Z" k0 e) R1 P+ O- n P6 q( _9 f social services" D j' X9 X4 p; J" n
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
) J j0 H- @( @- v. u4 l- z! B- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
h0 P4 m0 X) y* Z2 ~- update ASSIST website
/ a& ^# ?& @' }& E- M o: b) e- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
; A& b2 d6 X, C c3 q% F- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

Qualifications3 x% T+ A& t. [2 g, t( P8 V7 M+ G6 h
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
. [$ o3 r% e c( C: U' L experience and education
7 E5 b5 u+ T4 `( t& C) G- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
7 A7 S# [0 Y( n }" Y, [4 l- experience in community work and immigrant services) M) Y- Z% a/ c/ J( h
- experience in website update/design
: J3 O! S" k, t- k" ?, W% V3 Z- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset$ }0 A- w9 \) K |$ L
