Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

/ T, c! W" v# i6 h/ a: c+ s- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
" T2 K/ [! V% e7 A" X! D provide services for Chinese community
4 _) R- c, E# D4 n- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
/ h$ K1 ]& D% {6 o$ [ access to mainstream services
8 O7 T, a$ e+ X- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ) X, H; M3 x% S: N" R* w2 r. t
social services
- I" V# C4 k; t7 q G c- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
8 X9 ?0 g. C* _$ x% U# y- i- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
n5 h1 C0 A2 n' H% F- update ASSIST website
, R2 R" b. @9 n9 m# {+ q- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

Qualifications$ l3 {1 _; e: }
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

5 j5 x, b9 U* J* P5 O- good oral and written Chinese and English skills2 a- T, b( T4 f: ~* |! w1 X# s' z7 D
- experience in community work and immigrant services5 z2 D$ h2 J8 o+ S2 F0 `/ F9 b
- experience in website update/design Q ?5 |- C1 X& g9 \! k
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
