- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to & x. b' ?0 W2 @& F0 X2 Q+ l' \
provide services for Chinese community# ^3 Q9 I; \) W
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
3 z# w; ]9 q% X9 \" Q access to mainstream services
. _% r7 k. v# S8 u$ }0 S: e- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of % W4 v) h* M* x6 I" p0 n3 }; Q" w
social services
0 _+ n; X) q4 r% e( X- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies& u! e3 _4 d7 e- S: Y
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
5 a" T- v% C6 ^$ \- k- s- update ASSIST website

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

9 H, v3 _! K: q0 W- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
- r1 z) N3 L5 M6 g- experience in community work and immigrant services8 K6 _. @4 d# k3 P4 y# V
- experience in website update/design" X' h+ L- V* f
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset2 j1 ]/ v* l( K5 M4 E2 w
