Job Description

z2 O8 X7 }0 L- ?2 [/ n provide services for Chinese community3 P/ D3 w9 L* F# b
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population * M- @- c9 h& S" _! n0 R$ Y
access to mainstream services
7 s( P3 [3 O2 }; D) t$ x- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
- c) `& g( Y! ~0 J6 B social services3 f, A- ?; U& D' G$ ^' G
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
9 y" Z- @- N" P9 l- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members. `8 H7 d# X. t
- update ASSIST website" p- Z Z& d X2 q5 \5 b8 b" t
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre1 Z1 p& t% m6 X" Q, x% i
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
6 c d5 u4 X0 ^! M- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time+ e# ~3 m. a0 O5 A* v' u
- update membership database& i* E; y# o+ S; E2 B3 Q- r4 b
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)1 D3 o/ k1 t5 v1 D7 u, c! z

- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of 4 h5 [4 w; Q5 [9 {' Y6 L3 w
experience and education , D" \" e- l: [0 j* ^
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills. F7 t+ ^" P$ s* z: R, U
- experience in community work and immigrant services
- z$ x0 h# G9 t l* U- experience in website update/design
