Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- T8 Y4 M) P/ X; E- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
) m) S7 ]* x$ g provide services for Chinese community
2 T+ x) h9 }) W5 @. x9 _- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population ' X+ d* }. q3 R$ T& U8 `: ]& _/ A
access to mainstream services T, c# B6 m5 _. j, D& @/ i
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of + ~$ }9 _3 H" }( U
social services2 G" m S( U3 c
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
' O% n) N0 L3 k2 j' }; b- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
) @- h W7 t* K ^1 N }- update ASSIST website
* l" T5 K! S L9 p- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre

9 \) z, i/ ~0 L- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
* j4 f# W% w' A" ]" H experience and education
( b# I/ u" a9 J; n; M- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
5 ~! r1 _% _' d k$ z! Q5 S- experience in community work and immigrant services
! b2 G. P4 V, Z3 E- F6 M) a- experience in website update/design6 R+ v% H6 j& n! k5 e3 ^0 V6 \) B6 `
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
