Position title: Community Development Worker c& P; ^7 Q6 u% K' k3 F" _
Term: 1-year Contract for Maternity Leave (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 0 q5 {' Y# E W
access to mainstream services
3 G' E2 g6 z: w$ G% R- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of

1 ^7 s7 H1 E$ l; \. ]7 O( y- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies

- update ASSIST website9 r! k+ Q' d- C) V( o* o4 K7 i
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
9 p' w" M/ k! b* v6 N- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
0 J0 Z3 \# j o& B1 X0 k9 B9 _- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

F' H5 U; N# {, x7 v' \- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of $ O5 P! v% g2 k
experience and education 5 D% J' c0 y7 V. m4 l
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
- T& x$ a: ^4 [1 k( b4 v9 k9 Z) T- experience in community work and immigrant services3 a! B& K6 _: i5 \& h
- experience in website update/design% M; Z$ M, Z. C3 A0 P+ T, a
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
