Job Description

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population 9 a+ x/ N+ [3 R1 O
access to mainstream services; i* I# [5 ^0 {7 j4 ^5 B
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of 6 x9 G0 X7 k5 P" I2 {! N0 ]
social services
( m$ U, C4 b; [! e- \; M" y- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
; y N: y9 N" v/ N- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
j) o3 G8 B( g& x4 U( G7 D( m! K% k- update ASSIST website
! `& X t* S( I0 [; c: K6 o- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre! y7 g- T( I! o* o0 F0 D
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services

- update membership database

Qualifications
2 z+ M+ v$ O; ?" u- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
8 ]% N. \4 {$ e* w: g9 ? experience and education ' d# c5 H6 t, F% @1 u
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills" f9 P0 R! ?5 z) N, |/ q
- experience in community work and immigrant services
$ L0 f+ z' Z% M z q7 w- experience in website update/design
& z) ~, Y! G9 r7 U' [) T7 B0 Y$ z: V. L- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset2 }0 X8 \$ t/ L1 `3 `
