- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to
' A: z% S8 c% i- L0 D! h4 F provide services for Chinese community
( c* {5 V: o* Q' h" p0 y! Q7 u: C" F- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
; I6 _+ @/ s: H4 @ access to mainstream services
" T1 }8 R2 Z3 q( A0 `5 F- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of
, I% s# _5 S" I' F0 F social services
4 @8 T2 A2 _1 d0 b/ ^' W: J- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
0 ]% a" M* Q9 ?4 A% p- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members' K% R7 L( ]5 Y
- update ASSIST website: r, _) C( w* x: ~9 S4 @
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre j) j; \* }. \3 Z1 f7 g5 U
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services+ _7 @$ G: U) a6 @, g2 u1 T
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time6 z7 [0 K) O7 {. Z9 w7 I
- update membership database

" `: p/ \2 ~& b+ u9 n, r" `( K- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of
# K2 e8 g& p( o8 a4 I experience and education
2 z) ^3 R. u l/ c1 H, u- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
- z q8 s n6 H) S @% S/ F# s- experience in community work and immigrant services
( f3 d" j) A$ ~0 k) G' e- experience in website update/design
1 _% E, H" E8 ^6 F% x- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
