- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to ) U; k. S8 S' I' Y, ~3 z4 e: _$ e
provide services for Chinese community/ f4 M g" k$ E! E; J( r
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population
: M" w. S1 ~1 U) \- _% V access to mainstream services# J5 i7 M4 `+ K4 D0 m/ u
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of - [( s$ }$ X& {0 l) S
social services
3 } T8 M, ?8 ^3 e. f. G4 F- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
+ n* _# I$ R. j; @- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services9 s; B" Y& [4 V' e
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required), d. c& N$ y; c- ]' l" m

, `* D0 ~* l+ k. S, X* U3 e2 |- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of

1 t$ }! c- z0 t& Y! y- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
$ _( s5 P- }* \1 s- experience in community work and immigrant services+ U! B) c: ^0 `
- experience in website update/design
& Z4 R- L4 D1 o$ y- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset j: M4 J& d* R6 G( `. W; Q
