Position title: Community Development Worker

- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population

- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of ; a9 i0 e8 L y2 r& s0 {

- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
$ o3 E+ ]( N; d' P: `) T- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members

- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services0 M9 s( s2 f" \/ e

- update membership database# d2 ?9 O1 P% j. ]
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
% c/ m8 |1 c% }4 t4 q$ c1 M( @- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of ; S# {$ Q6 v9 U: }2 w3 ]0 c
experience and education 8 o3 N! \7 g w
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills. ^& [& ^& I# U6 r! g
- experience in community work and immigrant services
! ^4 B* Y% j- K G* u. j- experience in website update/design4 ` Z( L% m5 m
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset; m: h- ]' o/ o9 o4 p$ _9 ?
