Responsibilities:
-        Support the Youth Program Coordinator in the preparation and

-        Assist with facilitating the summer program
0 _- z: q9 a  b8 p-        Assist with preparing final report for funding agencies
4 t1 d+ D* e& o; D7 b9 _% R& }; s$ Z-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Youth Program Coordinator

$ R7 M. W& q  x6 `' x0 XQualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood
- n6 j$ H' h; ?6 F8 g; f        Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have some experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
6 K2 w/ r' W4 o: @-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
1 j$ c. o+ g4 `-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
7 a* b6 w- y! I5 l-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
; Z: F8 H" f$ a- }! ]2 e. i4 f* I4 G-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
, z+ G; a& G5 C-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

Other Information:
) c! n* G7 l; w. Q. O: ?  F6 H5 t-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June (planning)
        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
