9 r* Z6 q; D' Z% ^6 m* v- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
) O/ x% d* a! T (ages 6 to 15) ) \& e" }" Q; q
- Recruit children for summer programs
* d; \3 t- s# U" t- H& _! h- Recruit volunteers for summer programs
/ S6 y* t- t1 }8 J- Record keeping
0 p) _9 T8 ^* @ V Q5 y4 V5 f4 x- S8 c- Provide orientation for parents

- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager! M2 ~4 Z+ f7 \( W! I
& i5 y! [! }4 X% l' O9 [0 O, oQualifications:
0 M* J3 N% ?" _- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education. R s2 J3 T* V5 g9 O
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children$ n, S8 ?( ^- o+ D3 V; h! f
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills1 e$ \1 A, o% J! R. w
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities$ s/ `6 |4 J& t$ {1 D. d& d2 G
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
3 X- }) M8 p$ h1 H1 _- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities

- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

Other Information:
: } H3 f3 R; i* A- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)
5 l6 M, y, M) \ X* { and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
6 n, L( o5 ]+ w2 H ~. c" \- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009) z6 H \% B4 B

Salary
