( }6 \/ ^! P9 L" k' N- y+ Y- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program

- Recruit children for summer programs
J8 V$ P9 }" C) k! D! a3 Q- Recruit volunteers for summer programs
: `; m6 _1 V- u. s6 U- Record keeping" A+ M% ]8 z9 R+ B; g
- Provide orientation for parents' @1 m# S$ l- J- p$ b
- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency, r% q7 g6 \, h7 x
- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager* ?$ {+ p/ K: J5 n; N4 |0 U! }# I

Qualifications:6 t! d! `+ W U4 v+ U6 F
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education, B* P# M* n" s6 i. d, _5 [
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
( k) k) v. _2 D6 M6 K- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
/ i1 b8 v$ i+ _7 V, h' [- X- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
+ p; A% P+ P' x7 O- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese4 L3 Z9 i. Q! k; w! s! v
- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
8 f# f( }) d M- j) ^ P- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
r J' T) T9 K- r- Returning student (should return to school after summer)

Other Information:1 @1 k a! B2 k) o
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning) V# P" \1 l% V$ m8 A! J1 d
and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
) u& k/ ?: r y4 T( _# E- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
