7 ^+ }9 ]; {3 X4 {- Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program

- Recruit children for summer programs% e/ f, W# s# E. g! b. Y2 P# I
- Recruit volunteers for summer programs
1 R6 R: ]9 s' \1 s' N6 J# @- Record keeping
* u$ Q9 p. b/ l0 G: K; y; Q- Provide orientation for parents" j# D; m) f+ G* s! n0 R% W
- Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
9 F5 m! u" R! j- Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager% t; K; A! T( W4 D

Qualifications:" }+ h# @) i) D9 b* e) t
- Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education% a6 ^: L3 y2 r' @" e" N1 @
- Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children+ R) z: r9 T7 P+ K2 J
- Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills6 y2 {: q( k( Q( N
- Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities8 h# g/ \) B/ g
- Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
% o0 M% @; x8 R/ M- Demonstrate strong leadership abilities- |0 @3 l. ]* G% b
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

- Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

- Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)

- Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009
