7 ^+ }9 ]; {3 X4 {-        Organize, plan, and facilitate the Children’s Summer Program
6 _: j' j3 f8 [       (ages 6 to 15)
-        Recruit children for summer programs
-        Recruit volunteers for summer programs
1 R6 R: ]9 s' \1 s' N6 J# @-        Record keeping
* u$ Q9 p. b/ l0 G: K; y; Q-        Provide orientation for parents
-        Prepare final end of summer report for funding agency
9 F5 m! u" R! j-        Act according to the guidance or direction of the Senior Program Manager

Qualifications:
-        Post secondary student in Education, Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
-        Should have direct experience planning and delivering recreation programs to children
-        Good coordinating, communicating and interpersonal skills
-        Must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
-        Fluency in English and Chinese or Cantonese
% o0 M% @; x8 R/ M-        Demonstrate strong leadership abilities
-        Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
% K# P4 r. B$ N2 y-        Returning student (should return to school after summer)
-        Successful applicants must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense

-        Hours of work: Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm (35 hours/week) in May and June(planning)   
4 }$ `4 D, C( q" `. L" {        and 8:30am to 4:30pm (35 hours/week) in July and August(summer camps)
-        Employment term is May 11 to August 31, 2009

Salary
