Duties cover a variety of topics in which judgment/initiative are required in the research, selection of material & presentation in completion of assignments. 9 C4 a: W* b. {& P

Qualifications: A minimum of (5) years office experience; high degree of competence in office practices; proficient in the use of modern office equipment & current computer applications - MS Office 2007 - WORD, Excel, Access, Publisher, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook.

Responsible for a variety of communication functions such as: monthly newsletter layout, website/computer software; highly developed administrative skills & a thorough knowledge of business English, grammar, and spelling, plus basic math abilities; must have a proven ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and security.9 c' L: z& h! 0 q3 L8 M, _! x4 C, uPLUS: the ability to recognize problems, do research, assimilate, and organize office/union related tasks; willingness to occasionally work with grace under pressure to meet deadlines; familiarity with the goals/objectives of the labour movement an asset; excellent attendance record, reliability/personal suitability must be demonstrated through your employment records and/or references.
