. G3 \% c9 z+ Q2 z    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
9 s$ B9 Z5 {) {3 G* p: Y    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
% b+ O1 N; u" F$ P; n! J/ ]    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students
    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
3 l* q3 T6 @! G2 [  U本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。

好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

5 N) b( y8 H, I4 L0 VSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
wage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

4 W4 n! E7 T0 |( wti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
