* H& ^/ V0 c# B" ]$ ]( Q * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications9 S. x9 i, O2 @+ u) Q$ S4 t* X
* Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis' i# [1 V! U# j1 C* V
* Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
; X6 l |- V( v * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students

J0 b* t * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies4 n7 b1 X2 N6 |$ Q4 h
* Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs
