* H& ^/ V0 c# B" ]$ ]( Q    * Conducts isotopic analysis of geological samples using Thermal Ionization Mass Spectrometry, including performing isotopic analysis of standard samples and control solutions to verify machine performance specifications
    * Loads purified samples to filaments for analysis
    * Performs data entry and ensures quality control and quality assurance
; X6 l  |- V( v    * Coordinates instrument analysis schedules for Research Associates, Post Doctoral Fellows and Graduate Students

J0 b* t    * Provides general technical support and routine husbandry for the Mass Spectrometry Laboratory, including preparing filaments (welding and out gassing) for analysis for use by self and others; cleaning instrument components and conducting minor repairs/replacement of components; checking glassware and pipettes; orders consumables and supplies
    * Delivers completed data to users; maintains instrument and safety logs

    * Technical Diploma required; a BSc is preferred

you mean the pay is cheaper, but i think there are lots people can do and this kind of job is worth this price. It is not senior analysist

就是怕市道不好，UA 把價錢壓低了。
本來 GC-MS 的， 聼說在 GM 裝焊擡推都有 us$76/hr,現在改行了。


好了。言歸正傳，ua 給的工資，往往只得市場的 6至7成。

7 c4 U) d! J4 k4 M3 q; RSamples were first separated into components by GC before sending to MS for identification.
+ D% `) p! u2 Q5 f; j6 I4 Z$ |: m2 awage range from $42000 to $80000 /year.

0 M% M7 C. l8 R. `ti-MS stands for mass spectrometer with thermal ionization source.
