本人今年5月毕业准备申请3年工签   但是护照2010年10月过期   请问护照可以提前一年多续签的吗?   
因为不续签的话  只能那到1年工签  以后再去续的话怕没有2年那么多了

今天打去calgary的领事馆   打了很多次都没人接   很郁闷   发邮件   没有回音

you can renew your passport, and let them know, you are applying for a three years work permit (will be valid to 2012) and your passport is being expired in 2010.

$ b/ e/ G, q+ lThey will accepte this situation. Please be advised that Chinese Consulate General does not extend your passport, and they ONLY issue you a new one. It usually takes a month.
