Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
3 g, z" H& Y4 b! D1 D: B8 N4 o- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
2 c9 N/ c8 l6 b' O7 Z- Recruit children for summer program
8 Z& {+ N' b3 l- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

/ o( J- K5 _6 S+ t" D* z5 k0 ~Qualifications:

0 ?4 O6 Z$ A+ R- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
9 Z" ?/ q1 _, g7 W2 g* T- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
$ R% k( |2 C2 D" y; O/ J* b+ |& H- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
% P! w2 N; I! q# ~- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
  U" s, o# Y& ?( w& |; F" U" `- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
