Job Description
Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
+ b6 q& G+ P& _7 x( W; pResponsibilities:
" b% T* j, `5 E; I4 A- Organize focus group(s)
- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
* a5 b* [5 s  o8 g% O, |- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
+ A) @8 |. z0 `1 w' ]
, d- Q5 y, R* ?6 i& `3 z8 Z  f8 T- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
' }! g) E$ L2 a% `- communication skills
. L1 g' j% Y% r- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
  n' `+ X/ e$ r$ r6 X" r8 I- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
