Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
( S: w" ?* Y  Y! ZResponsibilities:
, U3 B8 ]- e; P" e! K- Organize focus group(s)
) [4 E4 _. S' d& \- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
- Recruit children for summer program
: }0 C7 G# W+ n. E: c- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
- Supervise volunteer(s)
$ x3 K. c& _! }% @; S3 s, E( e- Prepare final report for funding agency

- d$ {$ k! O6 G% H6 CQualifications:

- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
' _$ O/ \2 c, d' `7 f- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
- communication skills
1 U7 |) V5 o& H9 y- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
2 t% \9 u- W' E. j- leadership abilities
, [* U  d  V: A" b+ j- O- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Other

- must undergo security and child welfare check at own expense
