The Intermediate Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and documenting current business practices, procedures and challenges. You will play a pivotal role in analyzing and re-engineering of business processes to support business objectives. The Intermediate Business Analyst role will also assist with ensuring the proposed design is developed and implemented to meet the needs of the customers/stakeholders. # f# F: l9 U0 ~. Y

Accountabilities

. p1 W7 [/ l7 y& [Develop common test data
2 f. H) i- c9 w$ oBuild and test the application or technical architecture components
( w& P5 V" k* `; ~. p% HWork with other programmers, designers, business systems analysts and architects to ensure that the development efforts meet the application requirements of our customer
9 ^) N; R+ L% qInform the project leadership team of issues that may affect any other areas of the project
5 S% L* A3 q; e/ TParticipate in transition of the applications or technical architecture components to the testers
5 V4 b+ E! y) zIn cooperation with developer(s), assist in fixing any defects and performance problems discovered during testing

Required Education
0 Q9 [ ?* \6 sBusiness analyst certification and/or comparable education program or equivalent experience

% L+ Z* a: _0 F, |' C/ o3 x4 OShould have demonstrated workflow design and development abilities with strong knowledge of relational database concepts
$ U0 l" U$ K4 Q# V Must have strong analytical skills and significant knowledge of transforming customer requirements into a workable design at the functional and/or technical levels 8 e. J/ t b. r
Must have the ability to translate functional business requirements into technical terms relevant to the package applications and the ability to coordinate and assist with detailed technical design and development tasks in conjunction with an application developer
( A5 O9 g1 f* C2 L8 \0 U2 k, v ^Must have the ability to comprehend complex situations, break down into components and identify key or underlying issues # A; a) y ^8 ~; H1 l
Must have the ability to systematically organize and compare the various aspects of a problem or situation and determine cause-and-effect relationships ("if...then…") to resolve problems in a sound, decisive manner; ensuring the validity or accuracy of all information
1 m: B; P/ f8 i( q0 r4 U g' b( wKnowledge and/or experience in designing and/or delivering Joint Application Design and Rapid Application Design sessions preferred
/ r* \0 ?; @ eKnowledge of development process concepts and principles preferred
