A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

knowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

7 `+ Y0 c' M+ e- W• Standard Child Care First Aid

• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care5 [! G- B3 a5 ?% u' U; f2 _
• Components to improve communication skills- n" r; F* p. d- M) V* r
• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search' w; F6 `. H7 m7 v
• Practicum Placements

• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen
& |, w8 J( O( Y5 bof Canada1 Y8 N5 U z. e- w
• have a Social Insurance Number
, @ m7 `! j& ^, I; a% f' l• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
( p; b7 y; x5 W! ?. w• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent% O% v `7 E" t E. z f$ F. O
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

Participants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet- q4 }1 s+ @+ A# N" H! Q* w& s1 Z5 [
the following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course
