Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few + o' k1 ]' }& X, k) ^" O) r* \
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan.
+ s# p8 F8 n* z8 V: uA year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at + D" }3 u3 j! J. i0 E8 Z% `: h) R
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

* R4 A4 c/ K1 k z3 w; x! NThere are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and

Arabia.

racing to produce bio fuels.

are now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,

to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- ( |, |/ |+ r, \% `' S6 K5 T

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to 6 @$ J) K; i2 \
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas 6 E5 H3 G8 J7 S, z) f1 u
available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude 0 n* H) [' _* `& q3 L
oil.

4 a/ w; V# J# `* {9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy

price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
