these oil producer will go bankrupt or out of the business even if
$ s. r/ ?/ w; G6 Bcrude prices improves. This implies also to good names such as Shell,

9 Y& n, X$ m7 XRecently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few * H! t5 D) e. }1 Z5 L
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. 8 o k, z( L9 h' ~
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
2 l& j# e; K K4 P( pleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. * N2 f: S& \* B7 k
/ ~7 A: G u" Q. o* q" B% v1 D4 p; T1 H4 f0 L% ]' u) W
There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face $ c6 d, b8 e( P2 b4 B) f* J
of so much news. These reasons are: - y. x: m* l) j9 p$ K
/ ?9 u7 i/ H* G/ b) I+ x9 w: t. y7 l( D
1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and
* ~: g% c' f3 D+ F7 t" N! Sin the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than ) _( i2 D8 T& |
Arabia. 2 E' H$ p# ~ \) g
7 v* R: c }8 D4 ~ I1 C b0 I. s) ]6 o5 w. x
2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

3. New methods of injecting CO2 and surfactants into oil wells is Y8 r7 y, @( {. t% g3 t
being used to double their output.

potential per acre in some cases is astounding. Many countries are

cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat " `% f C# f+ s4 Y8 ~
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and

expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce

" E- y/ @' O/ I- Gcapture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
# `- T5 B/ z% Lavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
; x; m5 b( Y. }( V4 M" h1 B' Y8 xoil. 3 X+ H; |# Q! S6 k& s I: A
, L6 M5 q2 r$ k m( k2 s' O
( T# \' L& E6 j1 F C8 k6 b9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 , Q2 e- p# g9 F9 [
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into
, p7 s2 T3 y; R7 h- K+ Hoil wells.

source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the
& l8 G: v, i6 ~2 u9 E0 kprice of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
6 H' B3 f9 R( S3 R# gchanging. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability ) p( O* g2 b, n$ R
to control oil prices. : N1 {+ \4 V* e

With the above scenario, I still believe that there are under 8 ?' P F) S- u2 i4 e
performed OIL companies and probably they are yet to get the justified 2 k1 C8 V4 `$ m ?
