$ |6 y3 R2 c P8 CRecently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
; v- L( J \' D' Amonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. 8 \4 l. m5 V% a/ ^
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
, _1 ~, K5 G" n4 f Mleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. # H1 g3 R0 G% Y9 o, k

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face
' u5 z# f2 O5 z( e4 Q# {of so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and

3 T5 {6 B6 C! E3 o6 N9 \! |* m2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants : L' v% o2 G- g: } B" Q+ ~
are now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,
9 H- }9 e* P9 n- L. @% icattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat
/ G( }* _! E+ B; H8 gto bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
2 n2 E( L0 ~3 j) M0 lproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

+ f6 G3 t6 ?/ u0 t6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and ! n( G4 |. ]/ p# S

expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce

older equipment such as trucks, airplanes, train engines, ships, etc.

5 K+ a' D% R, l( A2 Lare experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new ; G; G4 ^# m5 h# a! \# o& N
equipment.

* E$ G/ U6 M" J" C. OAirlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio-

5 o5 `& q6 T1 ^! {8 N8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to
; p0 D! T9 }% }' F1 J# P% L. [, ^ vcapture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
$ w8 Q, @& m. @, Savailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
# I1 Y* J& ], H: voil.

- \' ^6 |# O, Y" j$ [* d! m+ | ^6 S- d9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 , e6 k7 ]" L7 t: u* e8 Y* c
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into
4 G- H" B v7 o$ uoil wells.

A5 ^7 Z, ]) M# u8 x& h. J10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
( X _) a7 _( R" O2 @% X! xsource. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the
