+ T' |4 }7 Q) A$ R6 IRecently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
6 ^' n4 \% @- X6 Fmonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. 0 u- x6 y1 r; I
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at ! i) A6 O" ?9 t# \
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. ' ]/ l4 Z1 H8 o1 `/ j$ I5 s

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face 9 Q# j3 ^- Y( Y0 @4 E! i$ R- D5 b
of so much news. These reasons are:

in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

& ?- ]! d$ s9 ]1 ^9 m7 o; m, Yto bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
% {1 ]* c/ y& f$ M" pproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

with new more fuel efficient equipment. Airlines and railway companies

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio-

capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
& X! x9 h' e9 y8 \- gavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude & C3 H7 ^, |: ]' T# Y7 A) ?4 F

8 m- ^& S6 T2 e) u+ }9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
" a7 \& h$ K8 { r9 aproduced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
