A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at 4 j- f5 F1 L+ w- a
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face 9 F' [8 B' s, f! R _* w
of so much news. These reasons are:

in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than

potential per acre in some cases is astounding. Many countries are 8 u' k( w$ o r+ E& [6 ]
racing to produce bio fuels.

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants
+ v1 l/ ~ Y0 D0 \% xare now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,
; [. R3 B4 h/ v0 {* ~cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat
2 \% _1 |' G/ c9 Mto bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is # @' F: [8 f: z4 O& a# D/ J
producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

will replace oil.

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to - V T8 H0 U) X
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas ( X |! L: f6 b3 H7 t
available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude : X5 V: g; M, |" U# G. f2 {+ I

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the
! C4 x/ M% K- B9 h* fprice of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
