/ A6 l/ q* R& l* X; b2 URecently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few - c1 {& O" e1 }
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. , ~8 U( ^7 ~6 K) L( n+ r
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at 2 c0 l. H, z8 [9 _! Q) x6 p
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. 9 z8 m6 p# g, `4 Q

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face 5 b* |; ~4 O" _9 f2 c4 f: g
of so much news. These reasons are: 6 P* W, L# U8 }, R

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and
?9 Y0 ]) M& G* e- U( |. h) f, Gin the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than 5 k& S, a& F2 j& {+ @7 o* t
Arabia. : x8 K+ R* N8 X9 J p+ C: Z

This is the largest find in North America.

being used to double their output.

4. Production of bio-fuels is beginning to reach critical mass. Bio ' ~+ ?5 B8 }* K4 P% T9 S

potential per acre in some cases is astounding. Many countries are 5 O- K( u l1 v: X$ w4 b) T
racing to produce bio fuels.

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new

4 L4 c/ u& H" e- CAirlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- " s6 V# {3 o0 ~* h2 t) {

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to

available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude * Z5 ?+ l' i% R
oil. H3 a% @; E$ V( e* G1 {1 |: K

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 9 w1 A% m1 `& ~9 w
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into & b6 Q y( K4 d: ~$ U3 G
oil wells.

! U, J Z5 x" n& F# P0 q# i10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
, q6 v) l, V% j6 gsource. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

! C; i [; g y" I2 W& q" fEach of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the

to control oil prices.
