Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
+ X% B$ v/ h2 s _; Hmonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. ' O% g% M) R4 E/ o6 ^/ ?
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
' W# {3 e( @4 e7 o8 j0 Pleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. 2 w" n7 C% X" z" x$ z

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and
& r" L* e g- m6 _ v5 vin the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than ; z8 F- z5 M- f6 c, p/ Q
Arabia.

are now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork, + V# e2 N) r( V& I
cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat 5 f; O3 g% j: X/ g$ _
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is ! n% V! H' q; ^6 B! S
producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat. " Z! E/ ?1 w, u( f# D. C5 c4 n- w+ |3 l

fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel.

produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
; t9 a/ J5 r1 {& e* Jsource. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the 6 D9 F: I W) x' r. _1 S1 E
price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world 0 D, H5 W3 v* v0 C( S7 ?
changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
