+ q8 ?; x: X ?+ N) CThere are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face
* R% T$ G; c' d9 Z0 b9 x, ^of so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and

: ~2 o2 N- ^4 ]7 [2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

" f( @) e; ?/ k5 j& l4. Production of bio-fuels is beginning to reach critical mass. Bio

potential per acre in some cases is astounding. Many countries are " s0 H5 k8 C$ [# @/ B
racing to produce bio fuels.

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants
( m8 m) O: ^, m' D. n2 Care now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,
- H3 V( s/ M8 i7 [3 [ mcattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat 1 K9 Q, ]" [4 @/ Y- `; b
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is

& t* i- R$ B3 R( `1 D! d9 O8 C$ Aconstruction around the world at this time. Several hundred more are

will replace oil.

- h# p, H( v$ B& k9 d( YAirlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- $ Z% D5 c. f) I5 s7 F" q6 H
fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel.

* H$ J6 h2 [+ T: L+ F8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to
7 v, I# `& z" {, ]& e7 Gcapture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas ; f3 d# ~' G& u" u. h' Y7 i M. B
available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
* s; G/ |; _1 p- ^oil. ) S) [+ a9 [; [; W: b
3 u+ }3 i& u/ P5 t+ I: p+ G0 }
7 Y+ |3 |" B: ]9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
. Y' Q% a% N1 e( L" a, z1 r% Pproduced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into ! _+ {$ P" t! K i
oil wells.

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
; l$ K W. s/ bsource. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

0 D8 T* V4 }0 @) o8 xEach of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the / t! h+ X6 A. z4 s

changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
