Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few % ?7 B) `' _. H7 }/ r- l2 \6 \0 x7 Q
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. # c3 N" G& V& U. n- X% Z; @
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
8 ]+ V9 Q9 Q9 E& b% M4 mleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

are now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,
* v6 g( d R1 R$ F+ {" v" scattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat 2 M0 @ f7 Q# T0 v: ^2 w
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
4 Z& E% a9 S* J# U3 L2 b9 cproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new ( t" ^/ k2 T. p

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- # D% `- `& L# |
fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel.

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to 0 X" p3 B) S$ h3 T9 [7 ^" C/ P
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas 8 H( d7 _% M ^2 A, ^/ |* u
available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude ! L1 b' C0 q* h0 ]
oil.

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy # j; `2 \0 G' u, c: u% Q2 T) E

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the
/ P2 @4 f( F7 E* {' b" n$ Nprice of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
/ Q' d6 H: J) C8 S2 a/ Echanging. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability & h2 o! ]0 M- j8 E
to control oil prices.

With the above scenario, I still believe that there are under
