Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few 2 O0 L2 j; r0 J' ?4 K
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan.
; J7 W' p$ u& _& sA year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at * N9 r/ y( V2 q7 e3 @% h( P& k
least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. 2 U8 W! o6 P% e7 ~5 Q

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face

to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio-

available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude

3 U# C1 }; X2 ?+ ?! \9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
( [. d+ }1 S0 X6 r# i5 Dproduced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into % I( v; n& p; Z1 |% e: F( h
oil wells.

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the

changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability * j9 F8 l7 m4 L% n i: t2 \; T
