$ Q+ b0 z, N5 Ymonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. # J1 A0 M# ~$ n' t0 A5 Z! w$ j0 M
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
3 O2 E( l1 s6 I$ `) B5 Eleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

) J# _$ q! A' h. G6 f- Z2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

4. Production of bio-fuels is beginning to reach critical mass. Bio

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants

cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat
: N$ O' ^* Y1 `7 b) P: v; bto bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and

expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce

) `( Z) l9 y. E9 A2 Dare experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new
' n- ]. X& w: F3 X+ oequipment.

" Z" O+ E( t: T2 q- wAirlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- & Q- C: i0 D3 a+ `0 H
fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel.

6 U4 [0 r. Z' A& K% ~( s9 `8 b8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to # [$ _3 y, d, ?! d- u" l
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
( T" |5 V/ j6 R6 [, P$ h+ V4 M, xavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
7 D# T3 y1 {! ]; T6 |oil.

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 6 k! t. a& l1 u8 D0 X( a0 F* x
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

, `8 ~# p: R& z6 F- h10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the - E- y+ Q2 E. V0 }- v. M
price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
