Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few - T; `. l' C2 K: q
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. 3 t( N9 x- |# s* W7 m$ O
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
9 r, K( y3 ]% X+ A1 [% T' `% eleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. 1 c1 i4 ?* s: Y# G6 a. E

/ \8 ~4 B3 |5 K7 v! ^: I% E: B& LThere are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face 7 T: ^2 z7 i5 e8 y. F3 ]5 X

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and 4 p( Q6 X; \3 Z P1 Q- @0 |5 g
in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than 9 P* Q8 i" t/ M. x$ I- y( V: N
Arabia. $ b9 S" K9 a5 z+ ^- ^$ r

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

! e; u$ E5 ^# ?& x6 n1 mare now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork, , Q3 v' @, a( }/ c; ]) X
cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat 7 |, b( }& C; Z. s% c$ `& r
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
7 q0 L) ]: H4 C7 a! @6 N$ zproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat. + [4 x7 k6 ]7 S, s

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and + u! t0 T6 P1 t& H H: G7 }( _7 p
construction around the world at this time. Several hundred more are * l( y+ e& n# T, I s% P7 Z( R i
expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce 0 j& h; Y$ `6 j& [& e
will replace oil.

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new
$ \7 }! G8 H' gequipment.

$ j$ [0 [& I: Y& m' a* I2 `6 dAirlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- , \5 z b- G7 @# }0 A

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to

available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude

9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
- j$ p* n, E6 {& D9 Y1 Uproduced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

& C0 V: Z1 c2 i5 s+ u
: a( t F+ q Y( n. \10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy
7 n' e0 m. @7 F7 Y7 v' Asource. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US. 5 @+ s. d. I+ }! x

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the
; F6 q$ E" }/ _+ b- pprice of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world 0 t/ N% C* c. B, v
changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability : F2 h0 z" ?) ~
to control oil prices.

With the above scenario, I still believe that there are under
