EXXON, BG, BP, Cheveron ....xyz.. oils

Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few * E2 y0 l5 v( ]2 d3 H
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan.
' m" q* w) X0 @# w& A, `3 x% }A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
, R' `( V% Y$ h4 Hleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

9 a$ o0 e& D% z5 N( ^& b" F5 ~There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face O; w( C0 m: `9 {
of so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and
2 e$ q9 a& F! @5 ?9 gin the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than i* a: c* R" c0 r
Arabia.

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. 9 I, A( U: `/ ?' K, m

3. New methods of injecting CO2 and surfactants into oil wells is

4. Production of bio-fuels is beginning to reach critical mass. Bio : p9 w W! H3 r* C+ v0 |/ N1 H
fuel is being produced from many plants and algae. The production
+ n2 F% K. i) V7 Y& E" V& V( |potential per acre in some cases is astounding. Many countries are 4 r4 t% B; E' W, F5 ]- d
racing to produce bio fuels.

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants
" l p+ V& i7 S: j5 ^; _8 p% A- }are now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,
- y9 v! H! n5 h( b. `cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat ; q, ^$ K0 j0 a& Z7 D( H: ]/ s2 Y
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is ! L. b5 P1 K2 q" Z7 O9 ]
producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and
8 \/ n8 t- l u7 tconstruction around the world at this time. Several hundred more are
2 z$ n3 i( F+ oexpected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce [$ ^6 E- e" n( G
will replace oil. . ^* i- R( u' ^8 K2 k

7. Every company in any form of transportaion business is replacing

with new more fuel efficient equipment. Airlines and railway companies - m& R1 u& C0 A0 M7 {; j R
are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new
" T" j, m' h4 G- Gequipment.

$ Q6 k8 L! C) e; z# V. lAirlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- 9 L* O B: V8 G1 x* w
fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel.

) B% @- G( u$ s. k1 f8 B8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to 0 k1 K J: A. a: G
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
+ F$ Y; n! O9 ?: R& qavailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude & j; c5 Z8 C4 Z; w" N0 \; _0 U
oil.

% i0 w( d( k3 c; ]9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 3 t( w1 U/ B: O5 b( R+ d6 ~
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into " }9 E+ I/ G- @/ D, G4 v) Z' `
oil wells. 9 p/ g1 B' [. j. E1 A: @- E* W
; S) ]9 y! z" j6 y5 c8 o4 L9 C+ h6 G; W- N
10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy , s1 D. f: e p5 y% z: u
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
. U N0 m, P4 \+ \# Eto control oil prices.
