There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and ' T8 u# z, R, Q7 _
in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. . D2 V1 Y2 e! r% X! E) ]% S

to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is

expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new

available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
* Y1 E1 u; b; ]oil.

) m+ o i; N4 l. e9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
& P2 k% q( G7 L# |4 pproduced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into ! l6 M: f/ B4 w; P7 Z5 m/ y& O) O

, R! g9 G. r9 ^' b6 s$ J* E10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy # j, `. B% Y0 P) E* F- z
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the

changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
