Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
/ ^1 i7 |4 a8 t3 j3 I. G1 F- Tmonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan.

" S; z1 b0 c8 `$ f( Sleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. 8 [8 o( e5 k3 A* P$ q

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face 4 y0 j9 x* i$ x4 | j
of so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and x5 h9 i ]2 Q, I" ^; \' U
in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than * E! }1 [% f( V3 X* e H. T7 @) ^

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

potential per acre in some cases is astounding. Many countries are

* m4 N" p* {% ?( r( f' g, \to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
& \' i( F' ~8 \& |% f& z' ?, Mproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat. 3 n6 e% h1 R1 j9 h/ q

) }6 d8 e. L/ ~$ _+ y6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and

expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce

capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
" z; M1 R! P6 p3 |9 ^; p$ i# Davailable at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude

' }, P% u& B9 W+ P* [9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 2 o9 ]# J$ o" B, ^% n8 Z7 \( C
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into ( ]) ^5 K# A; h5 N) ~: ]
oil wells.

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy , i3 t) A# C0 u# p' I
