Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
+ D; v3 Z0 k3 z/ D. mmonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan.

least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. 6 a' R% d* M/ y8 ?5 t# P* U

7 l y6 K7 b) q9 i0 r& p0 r3 wThere are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face
) j% p7 h9 g3 G4 gof so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and 1 l; |2 t+ _* {3 K$ b2 q- ^" A
in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than

This is the largest find in North America.

racing to produce bio fuels. 8 h$ X5 N; G& {% k

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants 9 b( @6 E* K$ h
are now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork, , w, D% c2 C, x2 m
cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat & ~2 A) J: c9 Z) D& `& p4 p' F3 a+ Z
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and ( }( T: G9 L$ h; K% r

7. Every company in any form of transportaion business is replacing

equipment.

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to

oil.

7 [, d8 [8 M' [9 x( @. x9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
2 l" s- T6 \% L* V t. G* \3 ~produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into
) T' ?8 o( G* G7 x1 l5 Voil wells.

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy 3 ^' r' o& z/ C" d5 R' {
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US. 7 [! I1 g: d7 y* \ g

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the

changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
