Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few ) J- s$ N2 x. w& d$ O1 b
months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. ' O% e- D3 @3 }* |
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
\1 u, n8 h4 wleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

of so much news. These reasons are:

3 G! L0 u3 r; [ T+ `; o1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and

2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia. + }( c- K! w3 Y x; Q# R
This is the largest find in North America.

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants
- p7 V$ m* T1 s" l V! pare now selling their used oil to bio-diesel producers. Every pork,

* ?+ @! t% o( J g- a5 N# pto bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
; @: D3 x: [8 j+ ?* F% nproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

7. Every company in any form of transportaion business is replacing * i2 x* g, _& e! x7 I
older equipment such as trucks, airplanes, train engines, ships, etc.

, r2 H `7 y7 L' ]. l# rare experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new
7 S) k8 j. G# C ^1 f9 ]equipment.

8 P/ _( I4 a7 O; H. x8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to ; s# C& D( q2 ?& ~$ A6 ?7 j
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas 3 _" k& ^1 X7 |8 j: M& [& K, @
available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude 8 p, C3 l5 o# A5 m+ N
oil. ( c, b% L: D+ ~" ?- G& V' p
/ d# C$ {9 O1 w1 z+ s
8 T, k2 E9 @& r+ P9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 0 G* i$ T% @1 B( H( x7 t& r
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into
9 ]7 _/ o5 h! S$ P: u; doil wells. / z' ]3 m) u8 N2 j, @+ l

10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy 1 s; \8 l- O! t, d( ~
source. Three new wind turbines are being erected every day in the US.

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the
& J3 n+ i) m" B4 cprice of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
% R" ]: p& d" w" w- hchanging. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability

performed OIL companies and probably they are yet to get the justified
