Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
, ^3 _6 U( k, w0 _3 G! H0 T, Y+ Jmonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan.

least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face 4 }! D) |- c8 i( G
of so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and

3. New methods of injecting CO2 and surfactants into oil wells is

5. Virtually every restaurant in the US and all food processing plants

cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat 8 c9 ?& d- Y3 h
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
* Z: G2 V2 S- Y! Jproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat. ) p5 O* U! w6 g; C" _! c

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and 2 r+ c! J) @) P% {/ W2 s' I3 ^

expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce

with new more fuel efficient equipment. Airlines and railway companies

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to % O! p$ @- u( b" C) S) s e
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas 6 K# x! g+ ^% p; b
available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude * ?! q6 D/ g+ }, |+ b; M9 q/ v
oil.

* g# X' H+ w# A( W9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
3 m9 t# s9 {' |/ U- }produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into * U: }! h; m+ h0 X6 T, t# D5 ~% t
oil wells.

changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
