expect much from Crude Oil producers and future is not with the

these oil producer will go bankrupt or out of the business even if

& i$ u D2 n$ k" G/ y) S& hEXXON, BG, BP, Cheveron ....xyz.. oils : w$ Z$ S% ?. y# u9 y
& P3 D" D8 m+ {Recently OPEC reduced crude oil production twice over just a few
8 n9 U( e" m% a6 U' F" Ymonths. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan. / J/ a7 {- m# C( d
A year ago these things would have spiked the price of crude oil by at
3 D, [0 B. P" uleast $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount. * e3 t8 [2 j% }% T2 T F* L
$ U) m( q2 X; K+ Z# {0 ^/ G& }8 o# S7 Y* c- U8 h
There are several reasons the price of oil is decreasing in the face
: o1 F5 g7 a! |+ x/ Lof so much news. These reasons are:

1. New oil has been found in Canada, Montana, North & South Dakota and ! g& v. B9 r5 ]
in the ocean near Brazil. Each of these oil fields has more oil than ( m- _3 M, t7 u7 _& _) x' h ~' k
Arabia. ! }4 u" q$ N3 y

9 Q- |% w! {# c0 Q" J( _2. New natural gas has been found in Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

being used to double their output.

potential per acre in some cases is astounding. Many countries are % R. x. R3 \) B0 d
racing to produce bio fuels.

cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat
0 J! j" Y3 q: d% Cto bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is
M B+ g4 s) a/ F9 T0 eproducing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat. + o3 I% Q3 s6 A8 I$ |! P# f. n

6. There are 99 nuclear reactors in various stages of planning and + C! u T) f) y U3 [" |
construction around the world at this time. Several hundred more are ; d5 x: H1 {; }8 \ t" u
expected to be built in the future. Much of the energy they produce ' H. d+ C R! |$ @/ \9 I, g
will replace oil. $ a9 R! o5 g' ?% I% J( {

older equipment such as trucks, airplanes, train engines, ships, etc.

are experiencing 20% to 25% better fuel econony with the new

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- , e- p; [* I0 f& I& p2 T
fuel is cleaner and performs better than jet fuel.

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to $ X0 a1 {7 I! ~
capture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas 8 \$ l. a5 G! c7 X$ ~" U' z
available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude & i4 W* ^! w1 C O1 v" l
oil. ; A/ }9 e2 x# }# T: \
$ w3 o: f; Q5 Z; H+ p' s
/ w7 a& o; y! P2 B1 U- \
9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2
4 g. q# h$ _: G2 {, kproduced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into ; D) V% _' c8 u, X3 n4 c3 O
oil wells. ! S0 w) I; l! r" K! G

' @% L" @; u% H10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy . ?5 u6 v1 P6 i( V2 i

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the 3 U. O2 q9 D: y
price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
1 }# i: c# K" `2 }changing. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
' r0 \2 L! h9 r. i. P6 Gto control oil prices.
