months. There are three wars going on in Gaza, Iraq and Afghandistan.

least $50.00 per barrel. Today, oil price declined by a record amount.

4. Production of bio-fuels is beginning to reach critical mass. Bio

racing to produce bio fuels.

cattle, turkey and chicken processing plant will soon sell their fat ) S: X* h) Z/ }6 w
to bio-diesel producers. One pork processing plant in Oklahoma is 3 ~ V" x/ W5 Q' w' D' ~
producing 30,000 gallons of bio-diesel per day from pork fat.

will replace oil.

Airlines are flying airplanes with bio-fuel. They are finding the bio- - h0 F7 s& u3 ^) f( t6 M

8. Cities and counties throughout the US are selling the rights to
4 M' \% x2 K* l* ~3 S/ Qcapture methane gas from landfills. This is a huge source of gas
8 L! t; x8 ]) J3 `available at very little cost or risk. The gas is displacing crude
! N% Q: [3 Q0 W0 }oil. * }) Y* Y) o8 {4 J

/ O/ }4 i' H+ T/ u; z, ^5 e9. Coal is being transformed into a clean burning liquid fuel. The CO2 % C8 T G4 K) d+ ~( r5 T3 O" ?1 S
produced as a byproduct is sold to oil companies for injection into

5 @: m- Y& p& H' S% z& n7 D; u10. Solar, wind and ocean energy is displacing oil as an energy

Each of the above by itself will not make a large difference in the ; a. d. A8 H* T5 u2 X; ~+ @
price of crude oil but the sum of all of them together is world
; G |- ?) K5 |- Z3 ~, f, bchanging. The important thing is that OPEC no longer has the ability
