How much is your receiver? about $400? some websites sell it cheaper, which is around 320, but I am not sure of their credibility.

How long do you plan to live there? If for over two years, it is totally worth the investment. & f+ v! m' `6 L& H1 K

You can ask the manager if you are allowed to install a dish in the roof or some where. 4 L8 ^7 e3 \* Y5 _) Z0 l" H- d1 D

Put the tripod whereever it is safe and secure, such as the the balcony or even the outside of your window. I noticed that there is a guy using a chair holding a dish in front of his yard. It should be safe. There are not many vandals here.
