The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.

- ~! m0 C3 ~1 T: e$ xDuties:
, w7 u6 b  B/ M1 o9 L" X•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
2 y* i2 O- F+ T1 D" A- {•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
7 g- S) p1 X/ V% @•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

/ y; ~% x2 O0 d2 _. [0 A; |1 k! s1 YRequirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
8 U, z% M& c# j% d+ w5 ~4 a•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
8 `% @* i( J9 c' D% x•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
