The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
, [! C9 m8 ~$ S" L) o  I# s& q•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
2 D5 q: c+ a  E$ x6 d# ^•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
; L& P6 }* s7 _6 l2 r5 r•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

' @- L: Y# o2 Z0 a" `# z& m•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
- \8 j4 a) r0 i. Y7 J•        Able to travel extensively ;
( K# o5 k- [( v7 R. N•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
# k' [! a. z! e+ K7 _0 b+ Q* a7 o•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
