Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
2 e$ i0 O+ R: R( D, p1 n: p: T•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
2 Z5 X. w- l* w•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
- D( j& D3 L! {; E# h•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
. l2 O$ u; f6 X/ |2 B4 S0 N•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
+ N3 I# q5 F9 Q# f. S•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
+ H2 Y$ R) W" U5 ~) k- _•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

. n, _6 @, u6 f. R" {. S•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
0 K  d/ M/ x2 m  Y! T; Y* Y5 S9 N" L•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn

Other
•        requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
