Job Description
1 A+ J0 ^3 P& N% qPosition: Youth Services Manager
; Y" Q! `7 E( J; [  n; t/ ]( r3 ~Full time position (35 hours each week)

2 V7 n% ]* m9 A% H; E2 i2 gJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
6 Q1 P) V. y8 W( T' F) ~* B•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
9 I. w' E+ g' \' S" j4 W. s•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
: q3 y' `) J2 {9 u9 w, c. `•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
$ r7 p6 Y2 \( c5 s9 R) j7 v* i•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
& p1 O& W& p) S: Y# [9 f•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
+ W2 L7 }3 d/ E6 X•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
9 G+ a# i6 f- O•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
) V* N2 a# m6 t0 [, F•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
