Full time position (35 hours each week)

% J  e7 c; X1 V! q! t6 mJob Description – Responsibilities
9 v5 O! ^$ V0 A8 n4 u- x•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
0 V5 A, e& e9 }1 I5 x) K4 q•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
' I+ i1 y! H6 r5 G; Y- {6 g•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
# ]' ^3 Y1 V2 @•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
: H  l- B( T5 @9 @  W& ~# `•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
0 ?/ w3 L) a4 X' q# |9 R  n  }( U•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
9 j4 O+ C% I1 P6 W1 z) A* V7 v•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
& i1 d2 e+ j& O% a•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
