3 g3 \5 Z3 h- L9 z. rFull time position (35 hours each week)

  N% r: {% x4 x, YJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
# s# \( S5 v2 b' I6 |3 R•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
7 J6 R; \4 j! ]•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
2 M$ o" }* w/ W1 ]7 O/ `•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
7 y+ y  t% g; |0 h/ o5 L9 _$ ?9 [( P•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
1 C/ u8 f- T' X•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre

! Q6 j; j# B* K% Q4 m! e5 S•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
0 J$ k* l! o( o% p•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
1 W' S+ J' A8 m% t•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
# ~  B+ m5 }- W* y•        willingness to learn
