Position: Youth Services Manager
% p! ?% w0 m5 r7 I. y# qFull time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
  U  [0 i6 D# q. F- R: g5 g•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
" ^/ ?7 l% I2 X! O•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
* G! Y6 m2 J& W( O, a1 h•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
. ?) G5 L1 ]+ F0 Z+ \7 c; v# K& F•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
$ W- d- c4 {, I$ J2 D8 l$ X( A/ ]4 ?# d0 y•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
: T9 o3 G/ L" f" ?3 N•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
5 L: q* A" w5 [( [•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
