Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager

2 ^/ C& C! s* ]4 S! cJob Description – Responsibilities
•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
  @& r) S. z' K! @4 |•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
# V( T* z1 i% T+ D# e•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
) O% J; N6 n8 f. O& R•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
7 r8 S) P3 i, f& M5 U( b•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
9 e7 }4 j" K7 U8 Y+ _•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
# M- H+ F7 D0 X0 I7 R( ?* K•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
9 T- x- U5 x' U•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
  w: x1 J; M, j+ u1 ^2 K# t9 m•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

4 V% R# W' s' _; i; S3 PQualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
1 r. ~% a$ [( @•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
