Position: Youth Services Manager
$ j/ j+ a: O7 t" p0 N1 p  O) [Full time position (35 hours each week)

Job Description – Responsibilities
, a7 f' ]/ m" Z6 }+ _* V$ |•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
" T, |2 k" _( z•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
, G+ y5 t) a. \4 p•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
5 y! g/ E. l) {•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
+ P9 B1 X5 ?3 c•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
; b! s8 u7 e2 Q. z/ _& h) \) H0 N•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
  @+ i, C1 B8 i9 B•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

$ G  b+ \# w8 y6 Z% e/ ]Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
4 H0 W9 ~& h8 W•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
# X- k9 a6 }* Y) r: G/ e/ [•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
  X! o/ p/ U2 Y! j' w•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
8 i  }' Z; a7 @, S•        willingness to learn
