Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant Z$ r6 N4 O- v

Reports to: National Sales Manager$ h# s7 w3 E1 n, {, K$ ^3 M8 R

1 I* [ {8 o2 BMajor Responsibilities:
: o/ @) m" O+ a) p8 X4 E7 m, j• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
" K9 A* {. d: E7 n5 v• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
+ g* G- E: E7 e0 y9 x• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
# y1 _, e3 h. r! [, b• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.2 D" M- \! t/ x. F$ e- E8 h
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
1 \' s% b4 ]/ C• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.+ x" H% A* v8 {" s/ S7 B: R
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.# q& }2 m- R& C6 c! y; |
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.( v ]2 x$ B0 g4 g# x. P/ J
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools., m3 C+ h4 F* H7 X4 _; I
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
" B4 d" Y# v' {" H) d: x• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.& P9 P# I* v$ N( {/ G0 }" i% o9 E
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
, O: \2 J+ t% R7 a• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.3 }' A6 }* U9 N1 W& n( D( U% L
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. " |7 S1 n. \& p B
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. & ^! S1 D! g# S% H: P$ l! R
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential' y/ h- e' _% e& \
• Not scared of heights! v: a1 `/ F1 A/ T F9 P& ^
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other" X0 T' V" x) g
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
