Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
; N6 V+ b! W3 P& M•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.& s& P4 _9 z4 T2 U
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
! X% x& S2 F5 J& a2 x•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  8 ~7 z5 [' i+ i% n7 L. x4 L
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
& v$ P0 }! w  u) t5 y5 x; D•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
6 L% f: [1 [: b+ k•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.5 }( p- |8 q2 \6 q& d$ G1 H
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.& A4 ?% U% ?. @; }+ @( o
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.8 E. b+ ~. t2 b- ~  L* Z$ y
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.5 ]6 k4 Q, F3 F$ c& ]) q
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
% |8 k+ \3 C9 d9 c! X9 S- S  R•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.. n5 D9 }6 f+ }% H1 Y; i; ~$ t
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
