Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2. S8 H1 G$ P4 j6 ^8 x: M
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

2 |; p$ r0 s$ |. a& X. IMajor Responsibilities:
& o5 b9 v' j5 x5 }• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.1 b8 ^% G1 u% B2 }4 h/ b+ Y
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory. B% P2 `4 X) y) D r, i
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. % q* o0 G1 {+ Y' ]& L. R; ]9 c
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.3 ^# ~+ A) q. X6 I6 X: k
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! k$ Z1 f+ B0 l" n' M
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
: J5 J9 \1 G0 h K0 j• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.* s. b. ?' U' x/ G
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.; I* _" X* [( x7 M" h0 o# c
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
& O) v$ a3 I6 d7 V& H# ~) P• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
U/ c$ S) u7 N7 J2 x• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy." j: i, N. D% ~9 i# `" {' w* k
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
- X" U$ s3 Z3 q" }& q: A• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.3 W( l" \# q2 T1 n% Y% s

Qualifications:) p6 Q, e0 @9 x, A, |! J
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
8 |$ M8 z' I7 V. v" c- O• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. & e, }* t% r* F& U- A- G' S5 P4 k
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
" D& M$ b) ]. ?6 Q8 N) o! r4 N: X F• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
5 e$ v& R) O' H; r• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other# E% ?5 v0 I9 `3 J
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
