Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

( f7 u4 y0 X4 sMajor Responsibilities: 3 y# H3 h8 Z# Z8 o
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
* D' q  w& b4 V; _& Y•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
; k2 Q; \( y# ?6 Q% q•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
! `5 L! s9 ]: l4 U2 v) W•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.% k% N* r" p9 `( `6 c: f  Y" [
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.8 W! h* a' ~* h9 d0 L
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.% v0 ?: u, E2 k/ P4 j3 g
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas., q1 T" `3 E6 Q& F# r" Q1 J7 ]* ~1 Q
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
* W5 N' Q0 z" }0 ?, g" I•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.* J; r$ F2 d/ l: x- }7 {$ |( u
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.2 g, l. r+ g& K1 ?
