Major Responsibilities: , h5 |: W+ q( i
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ x2 T4 ~8 G! Z: ^$ W•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.3 T9 E5 Q# B; G7 S, x1 l
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  ' y4 v9 t+ {( U$ {  O  B) B% Q
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
) _& D. p. |1 P2 q0 o7 m, @  `7 Q0 ]•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
" P* M7 i7 E: K0 o' e! ]•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
) X/ U+ a. |9 k3 ?9 `; U•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.( ^; s( O: |( ?; s. y; f
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.- q1 W$ c* M+ R1 R1 D
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:& q& c3 t7 c2 R; u& v
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 3 J: z" b' y1 R
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
$ G9 B* @6 q/ c2 k) U8 v- m•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
