Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

5 v* U* A# r- P( f! xMajor Responsibilities: 4 l* E% T# L% H, r" l$ f% d# I
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.) T+ U7 X. @+ t; b3 F
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
* p2 Y' N4 w9 z, T•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  ) o7 L+ a, Z6 D
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
, @9 r3 U2 W/ f4 |- a& _5 N•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
( d" h7 q- u7 X. V9 W4 x2 o- s•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
) J( F2 B( X/ o! g•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.) C+ D; @2 C5 d! N- b1 r

Qualifications:
7 X6 ]: k5 S1 C( ~# `  j/ B* n•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
5 f2 z: {1 x! y, m$ Y•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ' O  u" E& l0 E( w
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
6 F2 x- @1 @+ D* W- L. }•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
