Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager0 u/ E8 o' @5 R

5 n/ l- y; T' zMajor Responsibilities: 5 z: A2 M* W1 p6 t$ b+ a
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.$ h; T2 B6 Z. j
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.3 s, P$ V3 w) w6 }' X) |
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
% [% k0 u% b/ i' g8 Z•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.( y* q9 I* C5 j0 F
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

* \0 p+ W: v7 ^$ Y7 _& m•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
) Z( P6 P7 i! U- q/ F. Q•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
+ Q6 l4 i5 I2 W9 H" l•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.3 G* Z. V# c6 W& f! |* {- F0 F/ ]
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.0 i1 _' h& ~) m$ H
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
- W" {- C5 M  ^) M& V( u8 k•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
4 X4 p+ q- x% ^7 p•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
: L: Y* W8 O7 m3 g* ?' |•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
: F6 r" k* _$ ?. i# |/ l•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. " |; s8 l, l4 {/ o" S; c
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
