Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
% M7 m8 E+ b/ ?0 f; G•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.% A: i% L: u8 C+ |3 g
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
6 x! ]$ p1 E1 L9 u•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
6 E) |: w# [3 _+ W/ [/ r" [; `# @•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office., W$ L, g8 @3 R, }6 A" f! n  t' _
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
  w6 E2 H! j' e( C" w•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.. \! c: y4 z. N; {( V4 }0 L) p
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.' P) N0 \. i( j! g2 n! y2 N
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
* F: a# M& v* d! o- _3 ^•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.5 Q$ _! y$ d* r; I/ W) c7 H
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 4 O$ @1 J7 n" N: s: [1 l
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
