Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

. v0 @6 w0 S( q. UMajor Responsibilities: ) B2 h8 q. ]/ a
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., X  {/ N' w/ v/ N$ K
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.' b# K3 q6 u  r! y% p# p: `# `1 ]3 w
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  4 J8 K# k+ K. K. N0 h
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.% u' i& e9 f1 M! T3 Z$ p) ~
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
# G7 G! q: V% l# j. {8 I•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
4 `9 l. Z9 g3 ?: g* \& ]/ N& }•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.: _" T8 w- ], _" G* y5 i0 e. o
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
1 U' }8 I$ q, ~' l•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.( x# j" x9 }5 P: s" b
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.* R1 T: X- W$ @, P
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.+ q: X7 j& C6 F9 k! s, R# L& x
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
2 l& M! D2 B! z/ \( |' x•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
) n& w2 z7 {8 X6 j. S' K1 n( r•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
) U* L. n* p1 }! a- l•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
2 m) F0 _1 d' }; y! G1 X/ x: T$ A' {•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
4 \" h1 a; Q  l' y& I1 Y/ z1 [•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
