Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

5 d" p) d( d0 _2 h2 i5 }5 X9 e. `Major Responsibilities:
: G* v. J# z- ?; a) |• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.0 e3 k3 U; l( A d
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
, y+ l" C3 K. w9 x• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. % H5 T t9 V) J+ y
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
/ W' d# k3 K3 J4 v0 K• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis./ e7 z+ p$ W! H5 ?
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.+ Q4 l$ J( [1 [3 g
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
( l) |* U* U1 G• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
9 c$ {4 L/ @$ Y7 O( M& Q8 ]• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy./ P4 h) N$ s$ H1 J- r( U* ~
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.5 c* [% L0 u+ v4 A3 J! R2 k% c
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:; e, F; R4 n% l0 D0 p# _& v1 j
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ) y9 A( F' ~- `
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
- [0 `0 P& r6 r% M( T% W" P7 I; f• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
: e+ W1 q' R- v3 ]• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 3 z! z6 n# J! Y' j
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
6 H6 T) b$ S r; X- k• Not scared of heights
& ^) W7 V+ g7 h: C• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
# q# M: T9 o3 L1 X. r7 b, C• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
