Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant* O/ \# S4 V3 c. W& `

/ {& C* q8 u/ u- P5 f: _5 [! @9 L3 M. uMajor Responsibilities:
. w0 l [9 K g* L• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
5 B: [/ D, Y, ?1 K9 W: j• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
# K9 d% h# q4 }5 H/ T7 Q• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ; a5 i7 B2 {4 W
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
) R4 F% U. i- s• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
* X# r w# f( |• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
6 w4 e) f5 y0 k4 b# k6 [4 h& s• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas. S' N$ x* {! I5 C/ }$ o2 X
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
6 E' T: {) B Z• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.+ b0 U" @ W- [
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
# s3 T' B' h$ m! R• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy. V* m9 p' Q. q, f2 K
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
" t' n# J3 u" \9 s* j* X: L• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.8 {) E6 _- ?( E( c0 a
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:! i7 R- u J6 j- z' {! h/ s
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ' B; m8 s9 x5 R7 A* T6 T' e
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
2 h0 T2 C! E9 R! [+ I• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
5 B7 L# J9 |6 k• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. + F4 Z: F2 y8 H6 A
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential* _5 D* I: L a p6 Z2 }( j
• Not scared of heights+ i' E$ y5 j5 z- J5 d2 m: E
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other) E0 g1 @, A5 q1 b) a- h9 j
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
) z) a1 c$ M( n3 M6 u5 l# v• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.) L8 n0 g5 }! z% c4 T9 \+ |/ o
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
