Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

% H s+ j& |0 V/ WMajor Responsibilities: + C1 _$ \- a2 n: l2 V) q2 f
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.( A. o. X8 y8 [# r
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 Z. w. g; F, t% t* T: ~• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 9 H( f. a* f. U/ d
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.3 @, c8 S! ]% n3 W- s. K
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis./ Y E8 n) T* E% l! V
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.! _, E+ F2 B' {! B
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.- @7 p7 l6 J/ y+ b, X4 |
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
' `; Y `. n1 W7 @• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.. I& h" H2 ^- \0 C+ y% |
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
- u/ X4 A, m% |* B) X& m• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
+ J( L# F% J6 Y } `• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
P! i5 S8 C- N, ~, [• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. - w1 i! T, d/ s
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
- a2 X0 [! m* s, C7 v6 t• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 6 v+ ^, J* w( p* A% E5 j R- O, E% c
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.

• Not scared of heights+ ~! v& T3 f8 N# s6 @6 r4 G
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other0 K! T2 `* \" p
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
