Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

) J, F5 G9 q) b# L, ~Major Responsibilities:
' i% M: Y2 `9 V4 m3 L" J7 D, w• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
- k8 c/ A: |: {8 S8 M6 T+ V" w• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.5 i; ]. J$ c0 ^0 E) P1 @
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
3 u# U6 \2 `+ ]$ H• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
1 Y' s$ t5 y: i& T5 d5 h3 X5 E• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
, \3 X* Z7 X) p3 h, Z$ A4 k" ^• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
# H/ _& J3 B& ~• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.' K$ Z2 I2 ?6 x4 [" g2 W
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
( P- L/ p0 M" h( h6 q: y• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.$ I) {5 c4 m0 {. M* ~- }
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
5 ^, h! L4 s4 R/ w6 J6 I• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.$ Z; n* _ S a2 r8 X; ?" \2 r
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:# ], f& A$ L& v
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
# F7 x V- O2 Y8 Z. m* N4 K• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
0 B) A1 m8 ~( w* ~/ N& k• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. . f% P# L2 ~5 `
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. . E6 E4 A9 R" ^$ Y) r+ N
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
. k) n3 @2 m, g0 Q• Not scared of heights7 E) k: x# {& f4 y' T3 N
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other/ q1 o: ]1 ^6 c) c9 F- Y ?$ c9 a
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
