Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

& q7 M5 s% G$ s9 r/ A2 W' ^# }7 uMajor Responsibilities: ; q) G+ Y7 M% P; {9 V0 T' n; [
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
: d% j6 h$ l8 N9 e D, p• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.- P9 G9 u5 R. c7 r% p
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
6 B/ H2 {& V6 L4 D• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
6 K. [: p( A- `4 M• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.+ ^9 i/ o {8 e G. Y
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area. _' [# }4 n q0 |. E
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.( p e. |/ E, F) Y+ J6 a
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.3 [- o9 a+ D# y' k* s0 q
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
- y) k8 W5 C0 T7 f5 q, u+ M• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.: @6 c) Z( f' H. R
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.# E. p* T3 r* A; @
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
; {' y i) \, Z/ a* d5 W• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 8 ]+ h. l; ?3 i
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
1 t- d7 R9 q H% H0 T/ x• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
2 j, e$ S% t' z) k, [ u• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential. B( D: O; Q% A! o5 Y4 \
• Not scared of heights
5 I. c3 u% n: E7 a9 g, \9 ~• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other+ h' Y) C5 Y: Q% a& i, s" ^" e/ E
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. # M6 Y+ T- B8 o; @1 m$ A- o
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
