Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2& n+ {7 t. c/ t- b! _& [4 K3 k- \
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

3 A- e& l( b! Y" Z8 t# \/ S2 u, PMajor Responsibilities: ! e5 {, v0 s3 L" t, ^% _1 W, m
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations. C" U- b( o: h8 w
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
! Q/ u$ I2 R& Y. ^. q• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ( H( o( M+ r0 n% H3 g7 ?
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
' m Y$ m4 Y) t& L• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
8 C, ]) \) Q r• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.3 d- F0 P1 Y* ?
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
3 N- ?2 @% ?; v" P• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.. b3 m9 R' d3 f
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
1 [- Y! N1 {. }: h: ~, U• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.4 R+ i( M4 b% _& C
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.9 `0 l8 \5 U0 u/ Z% j4 _. h8 G
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.6 K1 F( u: h8 H+ m9 O" H% m
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.# o1 |) B3 t7 D% }7 `, p# D
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

M0 Q2 K3 a' v• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. & W r+ w( L S9 G2 d {- ]% f
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ; {* @5 W$ ?2 ^9 o: p4 x0 Q& p9 o! J9 a
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. : _' X" g$ O1 b! n! ?2 i6 y: J, C
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
# _* p5 ^0 R1 b+ F, T0 d1 k) g• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential7 z8 S* Z2 x* P5 G. ~
• Not scared of heights
5 z& I7 l7 N1 P/ t4 a5 F" z/ D• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other4 e7 d$ e" O+ ]# W7 |/ r y$ a6 r
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ' ~' m* h! M2 J3 a }1 Z
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
