Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant' `6 s" b6 |3 s3 ^+ R9 M: g7 e

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
8 E8 Y- x$ n8 I0 F6 z4 I3 B8 ]% H• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.5 e) g0 `- O: I2 h( ?. B2 N' m9 X
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.9 V; l3 d5 r- E* Z, h
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
e6 R3 }+ ^4 y• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
# y/ U, Q6 a* s! }* b* p• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.7 A& Q* j" j( ?! w6 q# f2 N2 _, v
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.3 Z5 u7 f) M* W$ a
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
2 o$ r9 C; ~; _* z% J6 f+ y• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
) U6 {6 r8 c7 P• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
$ L8 y: }- G; @• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
* T; w$ B; r) N+ D( }• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
8 B, h9 i% o0 V- o" X• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.: I" k$ G/ E1 _, ]2 \1 m
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

5 t* D4 ~1 [( D3 ~9 K• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
" ~" F, m( N7 e) q• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. . p- d7 ]6 S! Z' E" I+ w' d5 ?
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
3 _5 O0 |" c4 z• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
9 ^2 h1 ?7 p+ O5 g• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential' H" A% e! K+ {5 g! N, D& D! C
• Not scared of heights
0 \$ s4 n2 [# p* K2 q• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
" i' s7 U4 y% x, S, ?• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
