Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant. d( }. x) a# M3 x7 k
Location: Edmonton

. r2 A; v+ W1 u) k% S! l- MMajor Responsibilities: : k( h9 l5 K" g1 e0 Q
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
% O2 W. Y) ^, V) {7 |4 O• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.6 q1 ?% V% a6 \4 n# L) Y, F6 ^
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 8 u3 F) @0 ~+ T9 P& A4 S& @7 g7 o
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
0 R1 v/ H# g; E9 L F• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.) d# T) X# n5 r2 X; j
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
% Z5 ?6 R& R' T4 u• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.% V3 _2 b2 K5 y0 J: u; D
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
% Q/ J, [& v- q• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
( X0 T3 \: R# f6 t" C3 C• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.: d+ |9 d8 P/ i; `' A
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.5 o: B- X" j/ w* z5 w" f0 x3 s+ l

, A, E s' S; r8 s. nQualifications:
v: ]& w/ w! y, V2 J q" f/ L. t" }* c• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 3 ]& j7 Z7 g' u* y+ R+ b! T
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. - |$ f' A. F. ^( f
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
