Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 24 Z4 S3 p/ T/ I1 M( w0 M2 l
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

! W( H, z0 F, n! i& m0 U( MMajor Responsibilities: 3 N7 k- N* P" z, w- N6 Y
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
/ A& h# W9 S; d; W* E0 A• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
5 @ a( n7 m P1 {( B• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. # W7 |" K, M. \, _3 p( E
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.! ^/ j* o" L+ |: a3 s
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
/ ^' V: v" S" f• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
. D* o$ B( n) m5 v0 Q- v# u. ]• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
& M1 t% @: J* Q- j% @7 n% @• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
, S' x, {# S" d• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
% V" e b- L$ P• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.9 U/ o2 D/ i' Z
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required. d6 T" x, O' Q' W: v" j
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.* v( W! C/ C+ E* u, v6 o
% ^: h& s" q; g# U1 @Qualifications:0 Y! U, E7 M @. W; m
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. ) E) K' H# \* C
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
; y! ]! ~' \3 Y• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. & B' B& x8 B7 @; w" Q! }
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
& Z) W; J. ^6 z5 j* Y, D- `• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential# q( R E$ L1 m I/ k; D) a4 A
• Not scared of heights
: T z; |5 f% X( @. J1 S8 N• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other5 {4 e- W9 _/ I' ~3 z$ {8 R9 q( P: Q" q
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
" C# |/ j% t& r: ^( g, @• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
