Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2* F d4 w! z" o6 K
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

% ?1 j& q+ ~0 K+ p; v: P" lMajor Responsibilities: + G$ F: i- N: ]0 a
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
' C+ d1 p0 a+ J) R# O0 p; w. G! s• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
& @6 Q5 L/ ]/ F• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. * q4 }2 U1 q) t @
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
; q' G" v- u% W3 p( Z• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
0 s# q. z; i3 u |0 O) b$ R• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
. j7 Q! ]: C: Q3 ?, y* P• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
# z2 M& z3 B; ]' f5 B• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.+ e8 S" i! z7 r% @7 s" e
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools./ U& ?! K7 a: d/ W6 S' A6 w {- z
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.+ q/ \7 A; q: N' P% }- s# u5 r
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
& s: Y& L0 t) @7 M {: V! S; [• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes., R/ \8 d X+ M* U5 q0 h! K
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
/ T8 i4 {$ j5 `3 ^• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. % [$ E0 i3 y5 T6 S% F- i4 P
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
' Q8 i+ r, p+ P# h% B* e) t+ u• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 1 w- G7 j' C+ H" k
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential2 M( W; ]: |! ]$ V
• Not scared of heights
$ C- K6 D! x/ ?% J% U• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
/ z% m& R w2 f' L& f• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. P) c4 X0 u1 M# Z, [8 K# Z
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
