Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant5 K, H l6 d0 p5 z

Major Responsibilities:
, y' |7 f. x8 W& |- J) y* |• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., @$ r) a, [5 V
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.6 K6 V4 e, l* z G S) N- [
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. - \3 x( t6 p; O
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.' G- S! l1 B( D
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.$ Z; C( x5 \% U( b6 E$ c0 h/ E
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.! V- O$ ]* k8 S
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
. P+ e1 \' y8 U2 U2 V2 V• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.- d1 u3 B5 R s8 j
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
3 V, ^7 x& R4 O; X2 Z9 M9 E• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
+ w/ w4 O1 g6 K• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
3 K0 H# u, f+ S2 V# a• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
5 F! C( v8 M% C" I8 j: l- |• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:, F1 n3 P0 V ~& m% `
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
& M, ~5 |8 L2 `• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
]: E6 s7 [3 J0 U8 R• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 7 `. E5 B+ V+ C6 o# ?
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 9 `: e* n) [& Z* [" E9 f
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential# `/ d- J, i6 p9 ^7 }6 g; {, _5 |4 H) }: @
• Not scared of heights* s" i7 s. p1 M' E+ z- p# Q# y
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
- m; x6 U) l. O" u1 y• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
