Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

2 J" j# T/ H! @Major Responsibilities: : ]( G+ E) x$ |. ^6 D1 l
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
) Y/ a1 C& K) O3 M) s4 |. ?• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
/ ~# [0 B; m* E& Q* n& r• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
4 Y/ \+ T4 P/ h: ?( {: i1 x5 |• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
4 g5 g ^& v1 g5 H• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
+ r+ k0 o0 x. ]# t9 s• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
3 L4 n5 t( o9 D' u$ j# x0 u# t: i; V W• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.3 v, N& H9 ~) \, w+ V( T
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
% `5 Y" t9 v( K• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.% M" {+ c, l9 d' t6 _- Y
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.$ y1 ]3 ?6 N- [3 R

Qualifications:
9 J8 }! S4 D* f• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
- a8 V% V0 V+ X* s9 g• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
8 p, s- K( }4 r( e# q• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
% s! E% C0 t- T& Y7 B4 H7 k• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. & `4 I+ p6 g, w, f
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential' @+ V$ ], H. Q0 a
• Not scared of heights$ L6 E; s+ u. A2 J! [- \
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other, Q6 m( l' `7 L; ]* F7 T2 K
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
