Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant" _0 @* T3 K- p+ u! G

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: % W( ^3 M$ z. |% v" p
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.8 Q6 `6 b \/ [; Q
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
, |# @* Z* w$ ?% S( d3 J• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ( M' D' [, O! w& h
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
1 f7 @, s) M) J6 `* ]. M• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
3 l0 J# _( T" g4 u" S* S0 D• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
( W8 E$ [5 ?9 K6 T& ]* b8 A9 O• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools., ^% B" h, a) _- l1 i) A( \
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.; K, z2 G: u; x& f& Z
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.7 R5 ? ^" q1 R* E: R) f2 o0 v
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.$ q0 h* y }# N% u- {: i9 w
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:& n$ z, J" L/ P
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
3 L$ }$ ^, n& j! m% t( Z• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
7 z! `8 C0 P$ k2 k. `+ q! s5 d( R9 }0 ^• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
/ k: |' f. N3 K; n/ N! X8 b. M• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; Y1 j4 C2 z' j9 f- x: i+ z• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential3 D# t2 ?& e1 q. m( r
• Not scared of heights5 w' h: B) O, w* B; S s
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other8 h) b1 G6 @/ H* ]' B
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 0 [0 z3 x1 F9 |: x
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
