Major Responsibilities:
$ D! d+ Z9 ?: [3 g; B' V• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.6 K% ~( d( X! T! p. I
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
# ]# m. {+ b; f9 l' v, v• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
+ [ W: A6 s5 O( I& Q• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
) [ L9 o$ d9 l& M! z• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
0 [ w0 F4 c" @ q% ?% Z) r3 _• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
: i7 I9 ~/ {. y6 D) Z' D! v5 }• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
; S4 t& i I- n3 g6 u• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.: a8 P$ ?, A" n( R: M6 f1 B
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
% ?2 I. |0 ?& z• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
/ D J$ f2 \: C- ?• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.6 J+ q0 \, E5 o/ p
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
# o' V% z7 q, N' ]. Y) p• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

' R8 v* ?2 g0 o5 A3 n- lQualifications:4 s! ]# _8 i$ x) c: ?% X6 D0 y* s f6 t
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
/ U: Z8 o5 O2 s. q% N5 D. u/ L• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
; G! Z! \6 v6 ~( o3 H• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
P4 z) s) O7 R2 f9 b• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
' @4 z& V @7 r! L1 {9 y• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
, y( l) N! o! N3 t5 Q# o/ Y• Not scared of heights
7 L0 {8 R. c( E5 u3 d7 R; s/ N9 x2 C; B• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
