Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
9 D0 @2 D4 f9 T% w9 Y/ ] H- M• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
V0 p, [! U% }6 _0 u$ J) s# O• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
/ }0 S& v3 c3 u2 F$ p5 I* r• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
/ d7 A" Y9 p/ H2 \( \5 h• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
9 \% D# B$ P9 V: T• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.' u9 s0 ^2 a2 x, C D+ @
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
P. h# B3 P t& ]* q5 y2 y3 m• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
( T9 K4 P% I6 I/ X: @: \• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
1 d8 y) o8 T" N; e4 ?/ @• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.! } U8 F7 q* {3 y8 p
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.+ M- g5 m7 X1 P5 ~, q# h! e
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required., A$ C: a/ }7 R; s; N4 ~

Qualifications:5 K$ D: D& W! v, S( V
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 2 e% C& |* k) z
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. % U: w: |, A \# x" F% J
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 3 [- C* E2 Y( F! ~ _
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. " m3 b; p$ c- ]& i. u
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential- `* [2 c' m( R( g3 g0 R9 O
• Not scared of heights

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
