Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

1 Q; \+ `6 s8 n•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.2 j& I. s  v/ _4 Y& \/ s
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory./ v, R, b( N5 ]
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
! ]4 D! l+ e0 ^* V5 f•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.. A. s& u5 z8 m- n7 Z' q+ W
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.' o8 K( T8 U* ^: v! T0 Y
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.! l9 d6 o, ]/ _
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

4 [) b) P, P' y9 G0 u•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.8 u" ~; H* L. U  X4 `) L
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
# g+ k: Z% Z' ~+ j5 U•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
9 I. \  x$ L5 M1 J" {•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
$ N5 I3 j/ d9 V, r4 F•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
+ h# k2 y  i. _) H4 \7 e•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 9 E2 ]# a& K" J
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
