Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2+ P$ q) { z' `: M5 b# B
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

! o- W6 G# q$ y; `" ?8 nMajor Responsibilities: 5 Z% ~4 W5 k; S, \, E5 N" z
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
7 B( _$ e& c% A( V e5 q x3 e5 L• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.; K$ {# n6 x Q% B! \
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 5 ~) j* j, Q5 C0 O6 V- E
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.8 X& t N8 Q2 Y$ z: ?- D
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
: s! D& p; X8 u9 K$ H$ G4 F9 k• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.% u, S9 ?, C R! ?% k
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.) h) {7 {& R& S, @8 O" c; e
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
1 V( V' K1 {* c5 m& ], W: T• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.' l6 b2 b; w; ~/ v7 B! U0 k
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

* U3 E+ s4 t+ ^, b+ K! [• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
2 m3 a1 ~5 o) Q& k9 r8 x3 W$ t% S• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
+ F- q3 {) [" k8 f! X8 `; V• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. $ ^8 e$ u" t. }# \8 J6 i
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 1 |7 Y" j* @2 F
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential7 y4 l0 K' T( `
• Not scared of heights
6 c1 W% Q/ x& _9 d• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
3 ]8 x- n, c- r! g• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. + ]+ i1 D+ D9 w# o! N
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.' G0 T" H" s2 N3 T. M" ^
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
