Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 21 J z; P$ @- a1 X! q4 b
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities: : @: x' W$ u1 o- c
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.2 C5 q* s, Y& j" ~4 _
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.) h# \+ N; ?! h4 M9 W* B' [. s; d
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. , r2 ^ d* g' j' M q( u0 z" c
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
9 [, j1 i0 G7 Z, I# r2 H: E2 l6 ]/ z" N• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
& z" _* J% {4 O/ m• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
% D5 x9 B, s+ [: @• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
. f2 V# v$ G7 @• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
1 \4 O3 L* F8 W ^% t* ]! F W& u( C• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
2 W* n5 p/ Y [• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
& p" O$ ~, W( X5 P$ u( I8 H• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.5 V$ L% }8 n; q
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
; L% m/ b! Q: `% X) `) M: Y& \• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

' e4 _+ \8 p: RQualifications:
) U) T6 v" T. o• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
2 C- c0 k: S$ E3 g4 R. S• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 n% j, o& O% u1 l) ]- z$ S; J• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ; ~# s# d5 t5 n& H
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ; p9 \# k& ?9 A: r, |- |4 l9 v
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential# n+ q. u, f. ]" J! P
• Not scared of heights
% |" Y2 x8 y4 L/ p• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other5 \ E1 s/ t; _. n: C8 [. F/ y
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
