Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 4 F  U' Z: n1 X6 j! b& W8 @+ c
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
' V9 V4 _( Q2 T•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.: Q1 {; c  u, c; [$ R2 [  N- }
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  8 A+ q% ]4 J; }* K8 _" b
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
' P7 U+ Y; f: z  U9 U2 t! C! O; f! \•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.% T: M; A5 e0 d3 L

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 Z, ]1 r+ u7 Q9 K! E/ ?6 `  d4 p•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
