Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant( p# r, E5 N9 s" f
Location: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: & h, G: Y0 }1 J' r+ Q0 ]
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.- J+ G9 E5 ~4 ?4 L4 K3 H' z% Z U
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
* A' k8 c# p+ E5 S; d# i• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
3 I4 G7 c/ S5 E# n• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.' V R% ~2 I. v7 k+ X
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.' X% `9 a* R% |% H0 e
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.& q& |% e' A6 b, |" x
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ [- X6 @/ K* w/ S4 `9 I& ?• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
: f: l8 ? H" {8 g, p• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.* E" I" ? P' s z: a
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 0 ^: c6 ~1 K" h9 G d; }; ^8 J2 I
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. * O0 J# c" m3 [9 n/ m1 Z+ h
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. * E$ K; E* ?- G) T7 g
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- i( f$ j- \: v: P2 e• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

, X- p% M- U& \6 V• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
