Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
& u( n' q$ m2 I7 L+ e3 f3 U•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." A5 a0 m, p5 N' D$ u9 y/ |
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.5 q6 t9 s- F* f* g
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  3 p7 ^) M4 ^3 \2 G
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
  J' H) s& u0 [•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.& i' T# Z* H9 e2 ~8 ?0 N
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.) _# k! q) X' ~4 j+ e0 U* R
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
% Q; f* C$ z7 V' E•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
