Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2- [. {, F" o6 p. @: }9 T" f& l
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

2 W- ?; y- q5 Q$ R0 X& r" Z8 xMajor Responsibilities:
, d$ N& n* A# ?# w. H4 t• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
! M0 d3 Y% g }8 z5 p. V! z2 ~• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
2 e- Z) y, u# A8 N3 c• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. : w2 W% N+ @3 g* P0 Y
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
) H3 J/ H6 ]0 D, s, @) ]: O3 b• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.6 `) Y- m4 Q3 u- l- I; H7 i
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.( c3 I8 o( J& Z+ e
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
! e6 y( B( A. @" D; Z# N• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.& d4 b8 r+ v) w+ p1 a8 I7 }
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools. E' R N# a, i" I2 F' P+ d2 i
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.& D4 `( A& e% V6 J
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
8 o5 Y* y. f/ |+ o• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.4 x* X. D* j6 {) S' ? Y
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

i1 I) K8 N( i m• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. % @. q0 L3 k2 `/ ?& {, W( y1 x0 y
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 4 T5 v. K) m6 u. q, P1 h8 {
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
% w% R/ w5 t+ e• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.

• Not scared of heights
& z) b8 ~. R* ?• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other; m p: x3 \0 _; I" [7 R7 P
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. % O, `* v# ]/ i2 G. D7 U) X8 e
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
