Major Responsibilities:
7 e/ H( _: w/ U+ B4 O•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." t' {* [  t; u* R$ t7 _* r
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
9 k9 V/ J0 z& s; k7 y•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
* D* a3 [  s  k•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
5 b9 ?9 F. p2 n•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
! D3 Y- X% g- K5 r) H8 }•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
# u$ h8 q1 ^  n  P•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.# K$ p; |$ _) r- T) w! I
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.% i* C; R% O( y( X
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
8 U3 t& j4 U3 H1 F•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
  w+ ?: N  R4 G4 N7 k0 `•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
( i8 O% m* @5 P•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.* L5 Z. r2 R  ]/ t
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.( u+ B6 d# P/ u( [6 n, }
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.  c4 h% v/ L* ]

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
( m. {3 ?/ N: I8 j' e2 ~•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. - P& P3 W! N  L0 u
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # Z) z. T7 `$ `9 q/ W
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. # L1 a5 C/ s9 v3 w
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
