Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
# ?/ w. C! b+ {7 N. `6 J7 C2 [, T•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
; c: e8 U4 v5 m! ~( |8 p( \•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.3 ]( c3 z+ X) ]# `% C8 R$ Q5 \# r/ ?
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
* `. U' s( w6 `& p3 U" H•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
* f. S. S: d  c8 A0 I) q0 r; L•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
7 k4 T' L% H- I9 ~; @2 Y# o" }•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
( W  J' W8 o' K( n) _•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
. A/ e/ C/ x0 j& z9 w•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.% Y) Z! |3 q2 A! H
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.$ R/ T5 [2 F9 o& U# ]: }/ V3 U
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
1 C! M. b8 Z2 X- L•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.. c3 `! U* ^7 H& l$ C
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
) o* ]; L7 Q" J4 Z•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.2 z, g# }. R. B2 j( T6 ?2 O# u
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.- ?$ a9 a1 a9 b# X# I, V

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
9 {$ c1 \' ]! |8 D( ^  y•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
; l! B3 m8 I; t" M) s& o% H•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. , ]0 O$ W9 i  a& c
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ; |! P  J- w* }5 w0 ~
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential1 u! o& x/ j( }) e( I; L( i
•        Not scared of heights
