Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
/ F/ j1 t6 E- c" N9 V•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
% v' g8 P5 _4 k( g5 [( y•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
' _1 L  r1 K+ Q, f/ |+ ^•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  , i: p4 q% ?4 T# O
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
$ _5 e  m$ j+ v% ^1 \$ @•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.8 M) [  E1 Q- k7 d' M, W1 `) P7 R
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
, F" B& D/ x( H/ q  h•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.& g0 }6 k0 c$ q$ m* T
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.9 F4 l: }- ~7 ?$ X2 l
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
9 O+ }2 z) `  u. F•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
2 T& d8 A' t4 K- T•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. & Q+ B, {# W) _2 _, B/ L* A) ]
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. + X+ Z6 l' }9 P2 y9 b
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ) F, U' f8 A; |1 Q( r
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
