Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant+ [' ~# K/ T4 [# J" r

Major Responsibilities:
2 v" Z$ {$ e  }) r) P•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
1 K8 f) l7 p3 J/ b; ?9 }•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
. p3 k) X! y0 b! N! t% }•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  , G& [! K+ [4 M& q, i8 h& ]% l
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.; a, m3 K, v8 @+ D! S
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.$ I- u9 q* r1 ?% R2 H
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.+ a* P0 P/ ~, K, q% i$ j  D
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.1 h. a6 B! Y0 [* j  l) H1 @! ^8 z2 u
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.1 K9 o3 D' y" W6 s- |# b( e
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.2 q. K1 }3 s$ T$ H/ ?) P( S; [. a
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.

•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.0 X0 ]6 t; z$ d8 [- E
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.9 J# H8 I: {; Z# `4 f) U  K0 v
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.9 h' }, K% |" B  I9 _+ x

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
* }& i3 ?$ a0 H. C2 q; J•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 1 K7 V% r6 O' O. w( y& B
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
# R6 ^+ w6 C6 A5 K# e, c2 O•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
$ t3 L# Z+ r) [9 s•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential9 F2 q1 @. J4 M4 f2 H- }- D
