Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager- h# m) d) ]$ Y7 A, O# w" H

Major Responsibilities: 6 i$ }0 @& ]- ^
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
) f  [5 a9 L* \  P•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
; S& c/ S( F; H, w) }' F•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  3 F7 E# A8 W; F! z
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
' i3 e$ m& p% i( M8 N* g•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
$ O( {6 m6 ?$ Z. j  {6 d•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.% _6 j7 Y! n( V% m
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.: \) b# o: B1 ]1 v2 Y4 @& A
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
* v7 k( F! ?6 a6 {8 O•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
* ]& ]# F  a$ T7 k, W0 t0 e' U1 {+ B•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.2 E; k1 d- ^& O1 ]
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

0 N" F. }3 j2 d1 ?- Y4 s7 O•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

/ A( t* T; S+ b/ K•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 8 A% }* `1 {1 V& U. q+ H" p0 @
