Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant7 K- L* B O+ E6 x. w

Reports to: National Sales Manager

- M+ s% c& O+ FMajor Responsibilities:
3 W" Q/ ]; r: B/ K) l- \. ?• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
% T7 m1 l/ X# J t* N• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
, ~) A; h* Z" L5 `3 S* O) X• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. " H; m! @6 Q% [- R7 F- [
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office., K, G9 l6 U( q" r/ I% Z
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.& M4 x& [" ]& J# h# N% Q/ R7 M
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
$ } |) D/ y' |; [• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
; H9 F8 Q, k$ L* Z8 O4 n• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.- _# a2 m% n! h
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.: _2 |7 J8 A0 e/ y4 X& {
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.% @6 `$ g0 q6 h4 j
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
! [& b D: `. y; Q7 f• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
& j7 S V+ G+ L# e9 g7 E• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

4 G9 i! W4 q8 UQualifications:
) f1 a# t& M% l' {, w( M• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 a; t- e9 }4 _$ M6 m+ ^$ T
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. / @8 t' X$ x4 O: r. e
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
# E) i& G! p1 F" K( E8 l( T• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
, }* B& U( O, y/ k3 F• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

' \4 `: P, g+ u; F2 e) c* x, P• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other9 C* \1 E T0 r( Y' V4 L
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
