Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
C y8 e2 p- i6 o8 w• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
4 @ f; a: N9 z% z• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory., H* z# _5 Q/ f. J: y6 O& M' g
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ; h0 w2 M9 Q0 P/ } I
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.$ h: T7 i' \& ]2 O8 B1 K9 a$ y. \
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.- Z# g$ P& {0 D/ l& Q ?
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.. W5 S7 G" d! Z4 o& {! W
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
. V# T& H! w# M" n2 k$ W6 E/ k• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.4 S o3 N' e! `$ S; m! X
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
. P. V6 b. \6 {( Z2 n, S5 p• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications:
2 }1 [! W) W% r- q6 t• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ' |* `5 S7 }( M7 a
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ! @* r8 r3 z6 E3 M9 p
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. * M+ T* c& R3 X* ~8 d7 k
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
6 A6 a+ y9 r( L4 r6 E4 n9 ~' W3 l• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential: d! e- A& i' ?
• Not scared of heights0 K" z& J9 I6 `3 W* o
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other x. d, j0 c X2 b6 X" D4 Q
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
