Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: 8 l: G  N' d; Z8 s8 }
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.) R& V7 J* s) V3 F0 \
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.4 H5 Z) G2 r6 L
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
/ ~5 D7 O8 T5 l7 }- [5 P" |8 Y•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.2 t: Q) M8 r. e0 M0 ?+ G
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
' C8 W( R; t! g; r•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.3 L  z* ^  h$ |8 k+ |  ?; f
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
* f: O* v  N2 X% x4 p•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.2 k; s# {  p& x
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy." `& w0 b' s9 A+ D
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.) U7 [1 l7 V: s* S. F* n" \& |; }8 l
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.0 y' {% n6 E" X- X; B5 {2 k
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
; {/ v# [: Y3 B4 ^9 j•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
