Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:   K4 h, d, I3 F" S; a
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.$ w4 ]! m7 M/ b& l9 \9 a
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.- e+ n' w3 y' F) _. {
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  8 f1 k" F, C& E& d( F3 b3 ]
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.$ Z5 N/ p5 G" O7 u' \( N/ c
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.5 L6 w" \: I& I8 G) r! d
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
# V6 N9 ?8 q& F0 U•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.7 G  K3 \% W7 ]) x2 R
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
1 A- S1 d; ?- L•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.6 C7 s: Y3 ^; y+ ]6 k
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
- ~  x5 F& W# k" {! ]+ C•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
7 q+ m1 V! r2 w( U( W! T) K•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.$ G1 a. R4 U& ]- L, m
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.  s8 R4 t7 p5 T. w; t" h! J
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
! A% l' }3 J2 |- i8 q3 G0 j•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
+ d) ?5 E( v. v9 |7 i•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. - X5 m& Q' {! V$ w, |) y, e1 `
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
9 u( n2 `' Q2 V. t$ r•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
& p  Q$ w& l" X6 K1 K# G2 B0 ^•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
