Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant" E4 i$ B$ w4 G4 i0 l
Location:        Edmonton

9 h( E9 @6 ]" R' P  w' {" vMajor Responsibilities:
5 [6 |& O# X0 x* s•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
, ^# o* d) P& B% N+ w4 u8 b; P•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
/ `/ C- d' ?) T$ k•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
  {. ^0 b" U6 L•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
6 F) Z- ]- F9 U1 ~* {•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
+ j5 L6 B* L; g1 L4 g•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
) s- h! I! J; z6 P4 i•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
+ ~5 L& k7 \. o9 g" a9 h7 |•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
& ?' z3 i# k% r  R# M/ X) S•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.  I) w+ p; c4 n2 a3 v  q
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.7 H/ T: }4 g& C8 f
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
) g' O6 a8 J3 ~7 ?•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
$ }# E5 o0 M, q2 G•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.0 e0 s& Q8 s7 x2 @
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.( H+ X  F# r" i' U# R4 ]

Qualifications:
7 q2 Z& h( L8 t7 f4 x6 |•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ; n7 C: P! r0 p. \9 ?
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. " t1 i7 m1 o1 U! t# L. c; o1 J
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. . J7 N$ q2 T$ u9 F& M
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 9 \3 C1 P2 X# G
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
