, P2 w# f% [* c0 J* T, o3 gMajor Responsibilities:
/ v8 B; U z1 \+ {( `• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ R% a6 x" y3 J- K* `+ I• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.. @; R4 A2 h& r. Q1 t7 m
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
1 U, M# Q2 Z, q& H• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.0 Q7 U! B8 S2 O& J6 r. P
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
* J3 o" X6 m, s$ v" B7 F• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area./ V. M0 ]$ c# `4 O
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.2 o+ w/ M: ?2 B! x* s( d/ P
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.) A: z9 K4 @, A8 |
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
& y( d& ]8 R5 @/ n5 }• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
6 C. e' T4 \9 h• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.; e5 b4 N+ [5 K9 V
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes." x3 t+ Y5 T3 \! B0 Z8 s) K
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

* N# p6 f1 @, r; j! S* `9 h" p7 K, q• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
* C8 ^6 @! L' _' }( w• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
; W2 d6 ]4 b& I; _/ P• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ) T1 U0 J V1 x5 R r8 z, n0 f- i8 z
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
, B; n, _+ L0 u7 p• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
9 I- F: Q) v2 C: ]• Not scared of heights; |4 E: o' U# `4 i
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
; ^7 L. q! Y6 h8 |, y8 c• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
