Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant& j" @5 H. C, M1 c Q* _: I
Location: Edmonton

! V9 d) o9 D. S9 ]% ~Major Responsibilities:
* S) M0 Z- r: M/ ?( K* ]5 i• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
1 ~ w6 ]/ H' q+ K& R7 P/ V: s4 z• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.! q9 m$ b! w6 a- L4 B5 ^2 Z* ~
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. # f3 V1 j, i9 P; Q% F" U" _- K0 j8 r
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
7 q( B0 d0 J+ n! q6 l' ?' b+ \- W• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
* g( W& d6 {, l. U' M• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
) c0 G! @& h. q& X0 U; o) @5 @• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
. d9 b" q( `% A: }! R• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.- U# ]2 B1 o/ w
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.* S# ]5 a6 y% @& v: S5 B1 X
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
& k$ q" ]5 l- `, |' w% {• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
, h) U5 M- |8 }& U+ a• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.# Y+ b( l+ v! I* {0 l6 z: U
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
$ G, n8 E) M1 f# b Q$ T• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
6 X4 L; Z# j y- L, [2 |. o• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ) @& u) ]/ L9 J q. ?( d" ^
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
' n/ V0 i7 w1 \7 L3 T1 o2 y) V• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
8 O) d( A& w. |' V% y• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
; W, ^; K0 F% M, J• Not scared of heights" v/ y' P0 R6 O* ~- Y
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.) A" U, Q. Z, r; I
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.- E) m& E, e& E5 M5 r
