Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
' P) {: g- A( ?) B5 B0 u& `' l• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.* H( l# g/ B% s1 U
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
. E( I6 \7 Y. O1 D• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
, N) U! X2 X+ v( A2 r9 R0 O0 s• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.% A; `* G0 g7 l
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.4 k, w, U, u6 @* a3 o4 c6 n
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
' l* D! n$ W- E A+ e; C/ {! O0 T• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.- _; f6 t4 b# J0 Z6 }/ v' v
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
8 E% w+ d3 o5 P• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools., b( ?* d" @% y
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.% R8 B& M% F9 L# [) [3 t
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
) i) b! S* L6 P$ ]4 d• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
/ t; W4 m, a2 u• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

+ h5 X' K( c# J8 K- _• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. . S! u* v- f7 K0 y5 Z+ k$ [1 }
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
) H; Q) I0 k3 J2 `& D• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # c; g3 g( v% e& x! ]$ S9 _
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
" B2 u4 c$ V/ d: A/ C2 i• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential6 ], K4 H" ]9 [& V7 q& Z
• Not scared of heights$ }. k O1 t+ O4 w% d. ` A ?* l- W# j5 `
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other# Z! h0 A5 W: |# H
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
& S0 Y0 A/ B& [+ ^• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
