Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2( O) W, E" a* _
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities:
" K8 j5 _. U c9 R: h2 W" z% G, v! l• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
0 @8 C2 L' @% G% G, h: e• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
+ f( i8 j! D! C& y6 B( r6 C& J2 T• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
/ d* B+ r [5 o8 }* l9 |• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.0 D3 r/ w6 p: P
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
A& k0 Q* Q; G2 f) o• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
3 Y+ t- N L# L5 _6 \• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
; J9 T& c3 y, P7 \0 s2 q3 C• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
3 g' k1 J: B, d+ g, W2 i• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.9 j" Z2 z+ r: Z9 D4 |2 a" i8 Q
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.- K$ S1 p9 C7 s n% I
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
1 R8 X% r; A" z3 a: R• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
9 I' d& u) _, i; w• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.$ x) D. u) |8 S6 e8 H
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.% @0 O. J! S6 M t! C2 q; E7 r) X
7 N( m# u2 l- Z; f) V5 lQualifications:
7 t2 c( N3 G: n/ A; m* ]. V• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. * X9 A7 L4 R4 Z- F' j5 q
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
$ P% k* O5 u3 T2 k! s- J• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ( Q7 H6 L! ?; J- |- r& w
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. + s3 x( U& `6 J# F8 a8 Y+ |' E
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential& s4 F, |0 ^ U
• Not scared of heights4 b( U. e" d9 u! q- J
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other8 c3 d1 `. j7 n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
% ]$ U2 C1 Y, m% d: H6 t8 e# A• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
