Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

* k6 T! [- G8 @, A# T- |* ]Major Responsibilities: ( X1 t$ ?4 Q3 e, Z3 @
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.4 r" H3 A3 m q F
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory." X& l \' k. {0 t! K. [
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
X0 G. _6 E9 Q5 l( d+ |9 L, y• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.: g8 p: m( {: V r" n
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.3 F# K7 p$ c( {# }" V- M# g
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
' W6 }" t8 H: t( }, u8 T" Y* I* }• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
8 s# c3 E; [8 O" i2 d( L• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.3 a- ]# d7 J" G3 z
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.( A2 E& e- m8 O' F* p
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.. v) L8 S# f# c6 _: K, G; b$ M
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
: O$ f) K* g" O. C' V, E• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
, b4 X1 x0 X! Z: ?' T• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.+ M, q9 y X6 Y0 R8 L

Qualifications:
( ^- G& `9 a) d• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 5 F8 F( P& E+ l( M
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
3 I G( ?; r( k U7 U# y/ x8 Q• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
1 E! W t f% D* N; V" o• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. " H8 E" g; x2 C0 d" Z& b
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
7 V! k" g! d3 H/ T• Not scared of heights
0 k& c+ w$ L/ S' [; ]6 N0 i• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
