Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 3 [' `2 `. b" ]8 _
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.0 D1 f9 V6 ^. w' @6 A/ M- D
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.0 Y+ o3 I; z6 s8 n. e
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  1 A6 s9 ?: c8 s" s8 S
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
: Z- |1 O  W. S& o+ q•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.) t3 v6 O8 U6 G
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools./ S# u2 P- t1 v8 z4 q( S7 e
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
" u2 a. ]" |- \! O4 K) a, S•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.6 A' T& F/ U: B. ?- `$ N* E; y
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

- A  k4 ]5 o; r: j2 z/ m•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
+ |& m( n: @5 G0 c•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. . y, o! M/ f6 V
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ) J5 R! ~" u( ^3 I/ S8 y: L# X
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. + q+ V8 z9 a) l& v/ C
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
