Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
' H' ?: L: o4 F+ `# ~9 E% b7 i• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
' x; v! P; `) ^4 l) h; [ }• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
q/ E0 `9 T+ w4 p+ N7 t8 @/ I- s• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
5 o# Q+ t: |, g6 _) y* _2 Y, U• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
4 j' C6 h4 y! |. U( s• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
# E0 l4 T/ R% c! C, x# p• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
0 q' K3 c2 I$ Y2 ^# n• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

/ \2 ^0 {4 g! |• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

8 M3 F' G7 h9 v7 a: [8 W0 i• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.1 @" H7 {# S3 x: Y$ A
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
& w( j. g* K, u- o! ]4 O) p/ m• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.+ j2 {: Y" b2 K- S6 e
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

" Z3 H3 J! h8 UQualifications:
0 `7 {8 w- Z) l$ t0 f, P• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 8 N" @# S! {8 C, N. Q% ~, q5 x! S
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 7 c5 k" V, R& h: a# H% O: Q- m4 l
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
0 \7 S$ D, Q# d1 }. L8 r2 ]- Z• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
0 S5 h8 p. X: t& |* e• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential3 [, r. a3 O- y9 W/ L# Q- |2 Q
• Not scared of heights
& B6 B9 h% n" u9 z* ?. E• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
