Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

3 A, E* C  d1 v& F' a' R/ c& sMajor Responsibilities: 2 C3 @& Q% [& E
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
! V0 }/ ]! M3 {8 `- r& p# L•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
2 Z% X2 o5 J. z: P•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  # ~0 ~3 ?& u7 ^( v( }1 |3 W4 G  [$ M
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.5 |5 i0 x  G9 i5 |' Y$ S
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
! G, x! x% w4 T* R•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.. X* Q: E- c* e; A% [
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
0 f) F; \3 W; W2 Y) d) k$ _0 P•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.. ~* a  ]$ d  Q1 J+ ~: Z7 S/ t$ z
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

  s0 W* e* S0 l' c, W1 h- g" ]' d•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
; X5 u, y4 n; z6 C1 G/ r  m•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.) n! U  {% W& {& ]7 x5 S
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.8 |* s" `% j3 b; V
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:  \$ b: z8 w' U# S0 `
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
9 C) p$ w6 ?9 R$ K•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. % N7 H8 {8 M: f
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
  N5 i+ I) W% t. O: V•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
4 l# T7 E: d$ i! I2 c•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
