Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant/ u8 ^' O; N+ x, v6 ?

Reports to: National Sales Manager! W- p7 z4 B. w5 }

Major Responsibilities:
$ A( j/ F4 q' _, |/ ^• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
* B+ D, N- `$ ]& v' s• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 m8 E/ w: N/ m: o
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. D" C( E. X5 I
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.$ |: ^* W" F: {7 F7 Z
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
0 A n3 y5 m- f: q• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
" q4 |/ C F4 T• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.4 p/ K8 j' }% D+ ^2 [8 w9 o4 z
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.1 ]$ r0 W1 N# q# e3 I, r
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
0 f# O. U& A c, K& ~; A• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.! S% y4 o% M7 ^2 V8 n
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.' Q" U3 y% k) B3 v
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor., b% M9 n3 C' J" ?6 w9 `
( x8 W2 A& ?9 Y4 _; G/ eQualifications:0 ?) v4 m* k/ P3 x- V
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. : A+ _1 T6 V; x
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
7 w% O: V- p8 Z. r8 T• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
8 `3 i7 E6 K: C* I j% X. x8 ~• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
, ~6 ^6 ~8 [: a$ d: k y• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

/ o, n# b7 N% U& w: |8 ^• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
