Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

* @9 o; W; [3 J- e8 }Major Responsibilities:
) T, [# D8 E5 P6 A. g2 d0 f•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.) k) {/ Z9 L+ [! B# c( t
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
! _0 |$ D' E; G1 t* j: j•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
3 n0 [7 K. n0 T/ k' m" S•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.0 M8 x, x0 K: N
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
6 _& c1 d' e% T5 G/ A/ t4 Z•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
+ x) q. E/ j& c; |. v1 t# z•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
9 c, D. x0 c" o1 J  c0 T•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
+ y2 D, V7 ^, K6 {- n# j$ P5 `: r•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

  r7 f1 ~. _6 g. z% L& v& z•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
2 j% W6 n; f& l9 D5 B•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
- W& D5 H" k$ h$ z, O" m•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:5 P* W' ]1 H, N' b* c! b% k
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ) Y6 J2 z! g- o7 q2 a- E9 y$ K
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ' i9 d8 q( e+ |; T
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
