Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: ( T) Y+ I- a7 R" [1 u
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.# j, `7 v/ I, s, y4 ~9 Z
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.2 b+ m8 X0 w" t* U
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 5 }2 I. @# o5 |! b% z
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
7 ^0 F5 ]$ r5 `* Y5 w) h% d• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.) \: a. r& ?+ a! [. w+ B# I6 c& C
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
% ?6 l: `/ N( F1 u; q$ {* J• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.- G+ b) Q. E% J7 F4 c
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
. A7 y. X/ x; m; ^! T( n/ J/ p1 J• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.. t& u6 |: P% L* T: f" R) Z6 v
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
. c5 t. O' v, h; R& t% R9 ~+ U* E- g• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

0 @2 V+ @; A) S/ S$ D" Y3 T2 R• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
; t4 }& H. G$ w5 G( H$ ^8 B5 C• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
+ D h, b9 a% l7 y' Z; Y6 z• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other2 ?/ ]" d/ y' @: {( g
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. & Z$ M- {+ \7 }* u7 J( B8 m( |
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.+ t3 I$ l0 h* Z5 n, m( {
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
