•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
" Q6 w3 [# k- n2 }. {•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 u7 a2 u2 F  j% Y% X
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
$ P! z0 c- r) p, R; K( G' d) P7 f•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.# r/ n; J9 u# d: o4 q; c
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
; A7 Q# {' s# o& `* U+ M•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
8 ?6 f. F; _! ]/ g) ~•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.; V, Y" H' K( c1 X( e
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

# ]1 e0 h0 x0 ?  h•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
7 L# V) G9 Q4 l. G4 R5 c# x•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
% D8 S) t" o( ?; K3 z•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.: v. F2 B+ Q* @
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.' J' y) F" X% ]( p

9 A, X2 ?# R8 z•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 5 h$ }: _) b% i" H& y; s5 n
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
: j4 L$ a. s* L$ a9 b! H/ d5 P•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
% x% m' q! l- [2 e" ]( }, e•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  r" u8 [* z, J& s, r•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential- Z' [/ H& Z; q' F
