Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

% f0 p4 y3 {( i2 _Major Responsibilities: , |* r0 P" ]7 P" a/ D
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.. n" Z2 r0 j& C) l) `" K4 r0 W
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.) f4 X x' P0 C1 Q3 R2 R4 g
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 6 s& q2 A8 i% d: G3 i, g- ~
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.4 V0 C, I! U( n. A
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
, e$ c, g. v* U• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.& h2 c8 S1 a# W( m, S. e& X$ D3 a
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.. F, t) P" \" x) V9 V$ T) U8 X6 ]# P
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.' J( I; I7 b% B: |% s' L+ s6 T
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
7 U9 M f, s& E6 Y/ Y$ |& O• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
4 P. D/ j) w4 @* M• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
. U( d3 U+ O4 S5 Q• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
* |( \. {( o4 {4 V• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

% Z/ I0 `7 O6 g1 sQualifications:
t* s% w9 R6 J$ P# E% @- y• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
. A, I, W/ u: Z3 I• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
% C0 t- _& J( s/ p9 n( S• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
2 k: c" m3 S0 a0 f( }( ^9 F• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
( ^' p* \% F( y; `4 }9 z6 e• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
0 @' r( R! N5 n; s, b• Not scared of heights* V: _# w2 p; X" B* @
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
# ~# g& N/ w; Q5 T• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
