h0 s( L8 C9 gMajor Responsibilities:
' \6 ~/ _+ c& t" p/ \# @• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
6 |% `& M7 R3 z# [- s# p, M• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.. `+ w# |; P& h" [' c, n$ ]
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 9 d. t" e" D+ V6 P4 H, ] }: i
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.. X. M. I6 @7 p, D6 Z# t
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
) K0 s4 D# N# B7 K2 M r• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area. ?# F! _" }$ O1 ~
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
5 A; k. J, w& Z! E• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
x3 D0 [+ r: L• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
" E' v N6 S4 a+ }9 |• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
9 ~& u; Z' B$ I• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
7 {0 R; a) O) \. p- o, Z6 y- q• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.% O9 Y. K5 K. A8 G- A# U8 \9 M
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:- f" B4 k. [) ^" K( e8 s
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
" m2 r" [4 t4 I; l q• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
' |, n5 S, e! u t) ?6 Q• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. & }1 }4 h3 t, ~2 F+ E
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 2 x$ V$ _1 ?4 F* F) k
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
+ Q' K+ r: p) i• Not scared of heights
c0 Q# d8 _6 U) J" ]) e. B• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other. C( ?" V K: `1 O0 c
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ) k( O5 w. p/ r6 p' \# v
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
