Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

" J( r9 x6 ^$ a+ u' W: ^Major Responsibilities: & t1 w" r- V1 }/ h$ G+ S
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
: @% o: B' u3 f# S9 r; P8 z9 X3 W• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
* q( b7 s* a$ |+ V/ }! v" M% [ H• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
( ?" V+ d# s- }, `, \2 }3 J3 P5 D/ @6 A• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
& m" i. `- N8 C+ X, }• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.* ^5 ^" o( `8 X6 P
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.9 L) @* T+ p0 D. g B3 m% n5 s4 m0 M
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
- r1 i1 u, b; l4 C5 R F* F• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
! A7 J3 Y2 ~6 f3 X$ n% F o2 h• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.- h5 b$ A! C0 A; X0 o
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.% W: V, W* |7 L" U% o1 c5 q
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
) C- z9 ]& W- y& y& a• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. . Q6 J: T0 t) P9 _3 y! o
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
# J: a0 w s; w( L/ Q• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. . B; p. E! t- A5 I( B6 L7 {- M& ]6 D
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
. K, q1 F- A& S$ g• Not scared of heights
; ]" }; K2 I0 X; m9 Y• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process./ l/ u, Q6 r& p
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.4 i5 E' r. v5 D) S0 C: A
