Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

1 ?: ]9 m: B6 [Major Responsibilities:
4 f6 F- k/ i! E• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.5 m! m& q4 z4 ^8 }" O/ P
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.2 h5 z8 J2 C+ i9 Q0 X2 n' f. k
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
* Y3 A0 E" Y, G• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.% W( k& I0 ^, m3 H: ]) F4 h
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.' S3 [5 G' u; N8 Q/ R" Q
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.5 R6 c/ Z% g7 }. b
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
& G, K% w' o' F& ^* B5 p• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.& p& P8 H) {4 n+ e2 H( O
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

* q! ]7 D' t0 G• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
2 n: y ^8 f+ p; C• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 3 p" a7 J) `0 B1 q) y0 X' Y5 @
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ( j+ }7 p: [6 g( u1 d
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. - p0 k+ W! u9 \3 v* q+ g+ H
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other1 I% m+ D+ b- h
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
