Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

n& ]4 t- v% T' R7 N' z5 t0 n* @Major Responsibilities: 7 y8 R3 K/ u( X: p4 g- J
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.6 e) W0 W8 u, d' ^6 W: [- A
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
+ ?7 N* T+ A0 V n2 |• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
3 M+ B" H; o9 u" G: q! V• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
+ i- A4 w7 b2 I" |• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
3 G( c8 N: M. N1 T/ x$ ]1 Q• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
) r- E9 o' W, o, c3 w) a• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.2 Z0 s& C1 n2 Z& o( G" ~5 Q
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
: G# U3 r* W/ B4 S" m• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
. I2 m2 d8 \3 w& y) ^' v2 f8 q• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.% }0 G) i3 W$ @5 k
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
) }# }: m% E. S( i• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.5 N; z# h2 N! y. ~' V4 ?. W9 k
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
5 M. {. q. N [0 V: ~+ c, D. R• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. ; [0 H1 I4 q# ?3 B% g! j3 G
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 5 `/ F2 j5 v! H# {
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
7 C+ m1 b7 I S' x3 V• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 5 p$ ^. {5 h$ M; \* F
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

* q6 Z- D0 A8 q8 f. `, J! a+ b• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
