) _; w5 A- e! }Major Responsibilities:
- r! m' H! L, a+ ]' o• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
6 Y/ h* v I1 g9 `, ?* a" G+ \% ^• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.6 u2 |8 s$ D: H
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 5 p. ?& r ?2 c& q* K' T# ^
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.% ], J, w$ r. U
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.; |* A! A. e& |+ o5 y0 Z1 Z' D+ m
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.& i8 @; y! ~, y" d" D/ Q, H2 ?6 [4 ^
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
7 r$ C6 @. F r# [• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.0 p6 S) e* P, i( K) u. ^
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 a1 N; h5 y$ p; |1 u5 H5 c- H
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
2 m. z4 @* [- h, [# M7 O& r• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.5 Q- U* {/ P3 Z% x& Q& h8 Q
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

' d& W& k1 p" |/ B* h, ~8 j, N1 Y• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
% X- n, _& Y' m: f# c2 @* y• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
, L1 ?5 t# y% C, `* h% U+ h• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # x- u, i' f- r1 l y5 J8 p
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. $ m! T) g% N' x9 p
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential# {3 v( l& H# l! z, F: \% Z
• Not scared of heights
/ `& z* u+ B. r: Y• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
