Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2
* D3 q& A8 @+ eLocation: Calgary and Vancouver' A; M. h0 {3 T, Z
Reports to: National Sales Manager/ S: d* X8 H0 V2 \* t# w0 H
& H1 O% H: ~2 w% \, H4 q' T; P+ Q. h, D% Q9 Y& P# F: L
Major Responsibilities: / ?5 C, R+ T/ f& u- y' N$ u1 o
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations./ l& Q( F8 x/ f- S* p1 L
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
. g v9 C0 u) O' K0 _• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
8 p. F" b8 D6 m2 b# M• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.! b0 q( \2 r, P. M) |, J" U4 Z
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis. K# a+ a. U5 J2 n7 I
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
6 v9 i1 L6 T( r8 S @) r/ m• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
2 E; s5 g0 A2 I4 T• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
, K+ X9 ^, A/ K• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ' e# g7 T4 W' ]+ G4 Y7 D$ {
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 0 y: n2 U6 b0 V8 W8 m
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 2 J U. i0 [+ C+ n5 {
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential$ C2 y5 h# [& a& K: @
• Not scared of heights
1 d& u6 U: n$ e! T• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
& s# G" W, Q' V' o+ `, s0 s2 |( i• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
