2 w+ J4 R7 O1 W: vMajor Responsibilities:
( Y6 Q9 V X5 K# k• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
& ?0 Z8 M4 V: e O: ]* O6 g• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.! W# M- J' X2 ~! d" N% ^! i' y w) c
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. * ~7 y0 z* S5 K, S: q
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
) X9 D7 ]+ \& D8 t2 I0 R3 m• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
- @# r& Z, f9 @" M% y# p• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.% N1 M( g& i: T
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.1 F6 z2 r( L0 u, j3 U8 {
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.+ `; Z! ~8 H- d2 C$ w, Q' m% g
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
/ @: h4 F+ O; `( F• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
5 `4 S% v9 B9 ]( f• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
7 C/ r1 M( T0 h; {) U• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications:& x% k h) A0 M- Q* r
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. - [# N$ k+ s, L' H, I
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ! h5 ~0 M& a" x6 Q
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. $ o7 l* ~! l0 U/ N- m% f. s0 [
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ) z4 r% p0 A e$ A1 K/ r
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential4 Y8 I9 m+ G+ M1 @) ?# M
• Not scared of heights6 `0 W4 q8 e" T
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other1 C5 |. `$ ^' F
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 8 @% d' ]: a' w
