Major Responsibilities:
& h3 k- S: d% \" `8 x•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
7 S* X6 o" ]8 ~$ d•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
) k! g# T# V* Q3 L2 ^* \•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  2 o& F% o& Q  Y4 r" \1 M3 g
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.0 W* {9 d6 ]  p0 [8 a: M+ g
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! U8 u2 e* v! p9 _7 q/ L  r6 `
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.2 n; t; I! D# d% U! t
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.- F8 f9 y0 ~! G) u; `( _6 @/ ^

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 w$ B6 t4 {. a, @! X% z•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
