Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant9 S) @ V( C. q) Y# H
Location: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities:
|/ k, Z$ K6 ]7 {5 {3 n; N• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
# q3 D* q2 q( \• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.% v+ W3 a/ x0 t/ f" b2 P# j
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. . x5 q) `0 \% Z* A
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
6 u( Q( b: E4 o+ n! ?/ h• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.# I; P- f5 e8 }% L
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
9 }7 \ d+ e8 B8 L• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
8 x: W5 Z) @; x6 r• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
$ e# L& G9 i: S5 \( ^• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.5 O" |; l# n' m4 b* w$ g. ]
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.8 `# F }9 w2 M5 N- j3 R
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
0 J' T3 |0 i) b9 ~ p& U• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.0 j |* b0 w6 e, B& G+ _
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.3 E: d' Q3 h# F2 x" L9 c5 U$ `
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
7 M9 c3 h4 `) I/ M! c, W! N7 ^• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
( U0 |# P7 T7 S. z+ e7 F& o• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. $ W9 c3 b8 u, h3 ]
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. * A; u. T- Q" g- |
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- i( f% |2 y3 L8 g; Z6 s• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential) g+ n( {3 r6 v" `. d! C) h0 i
• Not scared of heights
! O, G/ r& K+ e6 [& H. I% f) t• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
