Major Responsibilities: , v$ Y6 D" H9 e" y- ?+ L6 W
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
5 K0 }! S: o$ Z6 K0 R3 z0 k, J• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.# U6 R: x& x5 f5 f8 p
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
$ d3 Y3 O! j/ R; J" p. Y• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.$ A0 I9 ?: a- v& p$ A6 t
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.; k% @# G) z$ Q* K
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.0 ^5 `5 I$ }+ ]. R( H
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
, J) ]2 _0 a6 A+ J& l) J• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.9 ^1 O$ o) ^& y2 f5 v
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.% G3 R& c, X9 B
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
! ]. U& M+ R @' D" [• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.* p# k3 B8 E6 U6 C. ?* _
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.0 o1 J) P% B7 H, G* r
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:' ~) f' q: ~1 O
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 8 {, l+ u |9 b& O7 n" ]
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
1 R. r- y0 {8 z5 S9 n4 T! L• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. . c+ k6 S% G" ~# |
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
0 ]( Q; q7 o, F$ }+ [- y) V+ z• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
j/ z6 t% e0 e3 c% T5 c• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
