Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant. y4 g) {* [) s- ~

Reports to: National Sales Manager

" G& ]8 a- N3 u. N# P* vMajor Responsibilities:
( v! L' D3 r! W `' W• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations./ s( U4 J5 f% ~% y s
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
% {% N! e x( v8 a) Y. N1 H• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ]4 ?3 U1 _6 ]
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
$ Y- |, t2 E; }• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.% D# p ]) K1 O1 W$ D) O9 {
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area./ u# s) F+ }6 v$ S5 z8 l' f
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.) i' U+ u/ u/ I5 M6 w* W+ ^ V# R8 F
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.5 o, ]2 ? P6 A* [5 p" B& w" l
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
8 a& Y. w' `) F1 K; e• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.9 `- K; n* N* V& h0 i( i
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
# q7 t: Q4 `- A$ ]• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
2 n3 O- U/ L/ F/ ]- [• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
1 L5 E" I' T' M/ a/ | w1 a, ?• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
, |, w, j8 t+ L) v- I* y• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
5 H( o/ |* E) I+ [• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 7 @# f2 V I( ], N1 k
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
. j9 \! A. f4 o4 \7 Z0 P/ \• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
) G) h2 {0 Z3 S) A2 M$ P• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
