Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

" O( W2 Q( J# `( J2 r5 AMajor Responsibilities:
+ z2 K4 S) H: A% o• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.7 o7 s% ^8 V6 X' E. v7 U
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
( X5 m S9 q: W+ |- R• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
6 [2 ^, |" g. S( X7 Z• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
6 c& W1 T( ]* a9 ]7 c• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
9 v0 q2 E f( M/ S% J• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
+ `( d5 A. F1 G; ^4 |• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.& B& A' Z+ r+ m# [) p
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.3 p. Q4 J j1 M" C% k+ [# g" ~
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
: Z+ z6 @: W( L: K2 y0 g4 D/ y• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
3 x! z, x& \8 ~6 u# B• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 m, H5 C# I, o v• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
( H$ x! C' S; ?! R1 h& Q# E• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.1 d6 V4 y8 C: d6 o0 u
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.0 ?& ]: F: R2 @

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
+ n' R3 }" Y* |9 o" w/ X. V+ K• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. , H2 t) r) d% H- m$ g
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.- E8 }4 }7 f C- a0 @1 ^
