Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: , P& k" |; T& b% I' x& c h
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
% p) j& l" l! ]/ h' O- V. ]• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.- Y& p8 `5 M4 ]9 Q, O7 ?' [
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 8 \2 e" R% W0 [, R- C7 i- [; X
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.& r4 d. K0 z# V) r8 r& K
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! g+ D5 s5 {- y7 f
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.0 O% m% k7 h0 I' u* I
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.7 F5 L3 L' ?$ H3 U/ e
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
- Q0 c5 p/ ?2 W' I9 F6 q8 b• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.0 T0 y0 K. k1 }, T2 `+ ?
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.- N. i) l& v: w
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
9 c- P) l, I: n" r) I7 @7 ~• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.' `# g% H6 ~+ w! {
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
6 d# w$ g {* U4 R• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 h, d T2 d" A, _' m7 B3 X• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. & I r) H8 |2 n+ p/ V
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
/ k$ g) F/ w0 [4 b' v: ^% F• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential U8 a! C0 s& d' {) E) Y4 x
• Not scared of heights) f4 Z7 _" e% a: b1 O, [& ?
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other6 V/ I' \1 e4 `8 I% D+ v
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
& L1 j8 p; c2 e( N" n• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
