Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager" E' Y0 h% [ H* b

! V* y: y( x5 ?8 O% w' aMajor Responsibilities:
# u1 D' F1 k3 d, L) T• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ D9 Z; i; B9 z% N• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.) p h" @. R$ o" n. I# L( ]
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. & B, c- G% {/ j) E0 i
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.. ~4 ~, V: ^; R" e5 |+ g. G6 {& n
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
- T8 r6 S) J* f• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
# g# ?/ ?/ t' @0 u• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

2 [' N' I$ e- u/ _• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
4 H+ G: q" B2 M: g: ^ J% }9 }• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
h& c0 ]7 M. F3 s P4 T• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
$ C$ e6 T. Q F1 F9 [7 l• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
2 E' _+ g5 c+ S# E+ a• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
! ?5 N; ?& a4 y% |• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

/ ^" \8 |7 I1 H4 v4 h7 y• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 1 F1 ~8 q6 a) \7 l; X
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
e' ~ t& X# ?- U) W! I* J/ E• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
0 c8 e8 ]# w: L P• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 8 s; o' V1 |* a) B3 A
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential: C; x* I. {" h/ a
• Not scared of heights
( |! y" g7 ` Z. x• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
8 |* y: e$ U$ o2 x( T$ a• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ! q! L1 w/ v+ K5 l) }
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
