& W% r# P$ G4 {6 f, gMajor Responsibilities:
9 r, r- ~, d) U% F3 |% O• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
- O4 f0 r1 \9 q, u# x3 B- [+ i/ `. o• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
1 X% w* [& V L1 a9 R0 Q) A4 X• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. q9 P5 ]5 p+ y% }2 O
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
9 L$ S2 D2 V9 L6 W) d9 |• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
* Z; H4 ], ^ h/ Q• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
0 K8 T# v2 w* o4 r8 I' |, g+ G• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.8 @) J6 u5 S5 ]+ i) D- n
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.8 p+ X5 i0 ?1 P n
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
+ h g3 B2 l! @/ C• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.8 ]" |* L1 U5 a& Q& s
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
6 F; e* q( `+ T& q M/ h• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.$ |! k! d: Y8 L& S% g- S
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

. U8 g- J I. A1 s& S0 xQualifications:5 t7 t2 y! F$ t8 W( S' j
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
% ^+ u5 F: O2 K• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 3 w: Z" S+ R7 ?) h
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
4 e* ?- t: e% {2 j7 H• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; @% F5 W/ ~: l/ f6 A d- u• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
% S% O. F/ v" C" Y• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. % |( p& P+ M0 m9 |" ^. M# O
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
