Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant
4 n8 Q& H, T7 q. L# YLocation: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities:
' h& H9 e6 t) ]- ]. [5 L• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.% G. i0 ]: h3 W3 v6 V. X( x5 y
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.2 e# q$ }! N* P0 i& _' V5 M1 q: n
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ; `' y# b+ A ]) D
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
; q. u+ ]$ V. {5 ~, z' v/ }, Z• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.# Z; ~, v- s5 ~& e& N) Z/ }% _
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.: [- K! {% v: ]; ~
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
2 N, S: C' d( c& j) b7 v• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.6 ^4 R9 _ b9 o' T0 n
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
p* b! V2 w& x4 a' Y: l• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
( |$ P+ r0 N i1 k- ]0 T• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.) I0 C# `2 _7 W/ K1 ^+ H" c9 I6 D+ a
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

- a0 _" o9 j2 I+ r- a2 i# o6 A5 `• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
' Z2 w" {& T8 \+ q: ^# C) p9 D2 L9 \• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 3 K0 e/ O2 X- M; G+ o+ ]
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. : I. s9 K$ M8 k3 ^" R
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ' c9 U& l! J2 a- z( M9 _4 }/ b/ n
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential# n, \: }3 p" X. B
• Not scared of heights# j3 \6 u7 K( x0 G) S- a
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other% ?. k% I- U3 c7 B
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. + s3 d& U% {/ r+ u
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.7 a, k9 Y, C1 K$ m% _' B: }
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.+ T3 ~( N9 J5 x7 c4 j" {
