Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant7 Y6 M, r9 p( s! }, A% ~
Location: Edmonton

6 o! K7 X% `; zMajor Responsibilities: ) ]- U$ ^" F, l8 c
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.# J7 o* M, j5 T: T
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory. _- f3 Q) u2 J# O& ?
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
9 B6 C3 g4 q- K( e: i7 {, g• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
9 u5 z: w0 ^9 b8 |& s% x• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
1 {& Z: l6 b7 ` E3 Z• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.: K8 _' }" B+ t* B* H5 E
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas., A. k$ g' H4 l" o8 Y, T* H4 v) t
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
5 _" ]) b" n3 A7 u• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
& Q7 z7 d8 [2 O• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
& C0 N% v8 Z6 s) `• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.0 |5 _( I2 {& t X
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.- Q- \! o/ V: w( `6 H1 W
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.1 W% T3 o) j6 a/ z. X5 b3 R
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

2 I& m8 G p& U1 uQualifications:
X6 b9 x! v0 }: Z- f• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
( D- ]! ^+ A/ {( b2 h8 ^: r8 _# \. z7 o• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 4 g& s+ J! f o8 x, t4 G
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. : O( c7 \, W. l2 R+ R/ h2 S- {- k' I& ~
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
+ L, U6 q% H/ e1 \ o% Y• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential$ M- d8 B7 O2 |! r6 C8 v
• Not scared of heights4 E1 x; ~+ a# ~
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
