Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

- |7 E7 _" D5 J1 J: J! L9 }Major Responsibilities:
8 @0 X, h' s/ h; y6 t+ P& e• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations. d+ O- L/ }5 T- M9 y# |+ D
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.$ n1 [% P% g5 W9 v
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
! d/ n5 _4 y: s% k' n• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
* ?; x: _+ q8 d3 G, g• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.& \! J0 c3 F, h" |: `4 n* z9 K" S6 d
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.$ V+ G* Q' i7 z! ?
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
- D8 h- F& H4 O2 n7 U2 r) s2 p" N• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
0 N$ T( G' e7 w j2 B4 {3 o2 N' o• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
5 n- ~ Z5 D$ Q& {8 b• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.7 l+ M- D3 g+ Q" f! I5 P! ]* G0 J
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
) |. r u2 m* @4 ^% W# ~/ t( _2 h/ W b• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.5 `# E% f. Z8 T- `# X
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
# S% |9 |0 f4 |6 P9 H• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
+ k- f& `8 V' o/ P5 u0 N3 ]3 s• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
$ [- M3 C" |$ P• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 1 T8 E2 c) I/ [5 @3 D+ `+ J( o
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; h1 B% z- x3 I" x' ? k- x• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

* h! R+ B! t% S- z7 R6 R/ C• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other. R" d* S: e. E1 l3 w
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 4 h3 m/ V; P1 p
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
