• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
. t- B6 P1 b+ }2 k0 } k/ D8 G• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.) y0 T2 o$ L+ [% O
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 1 b; j0 E1 R4 d; C# r
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.( r; J: i4 t' D- J9 i- o# E- K
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
" N& A+ V. w" z• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
0 n7 v( g: Z. ^, R- _• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas., f% u8 [6 X1 m8 C* P, {# h
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
* a' ^2 y( V2 q9 A) {2 @1 F8 y1 U• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

% [5 s/ h, {9 P4 E% x) k1 O! h• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
* l P Q9 v5 m8 A0 y( r• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.6 V; Z: W8 [$ U/ [, D% ~
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.; k7 B. r+ ?$ A, s9 }3 \7 v
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.& R' _* G' N8 O! Z0 B0 e
& W- w P8 n* s6 x3 jQualifications:4 P' } k1 U4 k. n$ b
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
8 L: r; r1 I2 r& Y( ]# I& h• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 2 V* m0 e |1 q0 `
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
8 {, g( |2 o z: P' r• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
, L6 R2 M8 d) B+ Y' O• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential7 S" O* E# I( ^ M* N! ~7 ]
• Not scared of heights

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. & P9 @" V; L! [% c
