Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant; u6 u" \# F' A* ]4 d8 q* I

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:   |. E; g* F2 _' @
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.# z3 Z! I& s8 d* N
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.$ ~  u1 q) q3 V2 F
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
% z3 ~0 H8 M- X" l•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.* L' H6 s2 U+ N+ y0 V% Q: Y. W$ t
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
* W" J# N7 ]' v7 l( u* M# A% w•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.  {% Z) Q6 F4 N6 M4 c
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
  L# D9 M; U4 L8 c0 y•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.3 i5 A/ d* V* W. J4 x+ V* P0 E
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
+ o6 f* a6 R3 j1 E* c) h+ w•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
2 K0 a, ^/ c1 s9 G•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.( e/ ]* H! e1 f! w
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
  b2 L  e2 V+ C: g' v•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
( T; ^) A7 e6 E5 g7 J' R: n9 x•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
7 ^. v6 f; P8 x# U$ r) l/ l# Z•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
" j4 {, m, ?& o4 X( g( A0 L! T•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. $ o( S3 j% q/ q8 t' |& P, x
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
