Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Major Responsibilities:
3 j* g2 W% r$ E# j% [$ X! Q• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.- L9 v/ l! q* j" A- S1 u4 B
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.! j2 t. H: ~# L F! B" ?
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
! f* b) X, j8 y* u7 g% h* }0 ]/ s4 |• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.& n8 h) k! r3 A' C
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
' D! H2 ~1 k% Q' M• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
# S J0 T! i! L% j• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
; u# l. m0 E& T; ]$ ~& t• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.$ m K4 F7 c' ?6 O
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
! t& _ Q/ ]* K• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.2 \) a9 I' u7 V% u* y
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
; a) P6 ?5 d* j$ e1 o; L6 u• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
9 ^ O, o# c) a0 V: a• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.& U* ~) m1 u K2 e- B7 K
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. $ i* Y2 M6 N" |/ n# d/ g" t
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. & E3 K5 i0 e b5 x
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
: ]5 N( Z* u6 g: a, x5 O- O0 D• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. . F/ ~4 r3 v; e$ \; L# T
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential' u; f" V) h% ~( e8 @. q) u. C1 b
• Not scared of heights
1 i H$ b2 |/ s! x- v, d$ d• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
2 B4 _, E5 {7 W1 ]& N• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member./ D" w# w& A' k9 d! x
