Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant/ O' r& V2 n$ f; f/ S

Reports to: National Sales Manager

$ K. e) h- m. b5 z" wMajor Responsibilities: & e, a) y& ~" W% d
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." V! k# o8 U' d) Q+ N5 e* x4 x0 a
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
1 W: F) o8 F+ a: i. N6 `7 }5 e• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. * D) w, R$ S2 D
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.! _& e$ f7 ~" j
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis. Q [1 k. J0 C S
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
2 }: w- b$ e8 h; r: l; P- l% @. A$ o• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.: u" t6 X& [4 l% Z. \
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.9 ?" I4 j: C; d5 G
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy., O. Y: E+ ?. k- w
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

# C- q2 _- Z+ d0 @( b. _• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 e* _ K' K y
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 9 E6 o! V' s/ K1 [+ V0 M
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
3 N: w7 T" D( c5 q• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
1 d6 J$ f1 V' O2 C: F2 T• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. % p5 Q# s1 L% H# m4 e
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
