Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 26 {, f5 z; l, V( A. `6 Y9 P

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
( e1 z1 ?- ]$ n6 I$ U• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.' e3 h* j$ j) Y t
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
$ i5 N3 n4 ?/ T# q [# }# u• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
! ~+ B5 v; X4 s, N/ |% W4 R. P% D( X7 E• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
8 D1 S; q$ K) a7 f/ w# S+ o# @• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.# e4 j( `- Q7 J5 y$ n( b/ F
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.' Z* L3 P9 v0 y9 K: l R2 l
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
+ O# {9 B1 q9 N) ~* w' @• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.# @1 ]0 `+ ~8 c# l1 {$ k+ R
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.' S( E A( U2 X6 A, s
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.) q# Q1 R! O7 k& `. V
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
- H: i: e2 _' s; v; V o• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
* V5 G9 y# ~* \; H2 y7 G• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.2 i. Z4 b/ x. b& c+ f/ T
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
& ~1 t6 s/ M1 i" [( s3 _) ?• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. 8 I* B7 u, ^% j+ [
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
7 S9 M; c/ l0 t; j! y• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
: r7 A0 A/ p( E• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. % V4 I+ }' h+ D q
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential8 c, n" x* i. I! l2 S% S. `
• Not scared of heights* m7 a9 f+ t4 H9 s, l" j& I
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other5 L1 R5 s ~* v& a
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.! S" @* g/ w' M6 X
