/ ^5 u3 V5 r$ sMajor Responsibilities:
( k& x5 q" U! |9 E•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.8 P2 R) A/ n- V, w( w
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.4 j! ?  s& E3 p9 Z& u/ L
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
0 d( c: v% h. c  H2 @•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
8 U9 H) O- U+ s' u, H" o# J+ ]4 ^4 S•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
6 M9 b& J; E: C0 `* c0 ^. a4 o; o•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
$ ~+ O/ K8 e9 [6 E" o•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.; L8 b  y% b0 ?$ v
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
9 I" [# F3 O" [3 [•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
! l5 F; T( P/ S- ?! k' g! U! i3 c/ [6 C1 S•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
8 m5 q  `& u: j$ q5 B  Y' i•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
; K( t7 u0 x9 P5 u•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.  `' R; d4 ?9 p6 z! J9 ?
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.5 g8 A( G3 A% H7 K
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.# ~: X; j9 {4 x0 P! e4 W

Qualifications:
  Q; Y, P& Q- G8 b1 U; p+ H1 W•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. . I# b5 l: s( j4 E9 L9 g) l% O+ `
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
& D! G% I- B2 k/ q/ O•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
7 Y& n; K7 ^( S•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
, ^# @  m" \7 h: B+ D. j•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
4 w. l2 J* S& X9 u•        Not scared of heights
3 z2 m1 u7 E" ]•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
& s  g0 `+ p" q5 K7 P% \•        Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
