Major Responsibilities: + Z/ `5 c' F& C
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.# \5 M. T* g( G4 B8 {& K
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 G. m/ E" L) y, T$ |4 b• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
7 z4 ?: a: j( E3 K• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.& w6 `& w( e5 u: t) Z* C
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis." t$ W% D, d' Q9 u6 C2 P3 n# r
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
* z/ j: Y8 f9 X7 f3 c* x• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
5 C* i9 v; n7 r: }* B, n8 i$ f$ Q• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
5 ~7 r* Z1 p6 V/ b• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

, L. R0 e7 C( D U8 X9 E- A• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.0 Y2 r6 o4 v* _
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.4 ?. B: ^1 e. G7 u3 P
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.' q% C0 r2 z2 u4 J% I) Q8 M

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 3 E) }! l5 x8 O
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 9 z& j m( A0 F5 v$ h8 A7 R( L& A
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. - n' E2 e2 N* v
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 8 i; h# |, _: p- D$ q
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential& q! t7 X+ i8 B( v0 }* o9 S1 e
• Not scared of heights
1 `4 k4 N/ h$ z/ v2 C6 w/ G• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
