Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

- u- G  }( x0 CMajor Responsibilities:
7 [8 u" x! ?. G/ M) M, d•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations./ B- Y# E9 C, W! V$ m5 R
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.$ e  Y, S% j! ]. y+ r- Y1 ~8 z9 k
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
6 |3 z2 u% O0 k, B+ v, j/ b•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.3 t, }/ D) h) C" b
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.. Z/ J+ y6 R6 l7 G7 R
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
' K% c- o; S# K+ E& S: \- n7 `•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
5 @9 y& M8 L4 C•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
" E" q' m- I/ ^+ M" s9 E3 x: S2 d•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.6 t  }: F# E  U% n
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
; m9 ^# |* p" _1 g•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
