Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 0 q9 r9 s( i  ]7 O7 Q( Y
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.- a' V6 Y9 J1 g5 S/ p
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.2 a8 p7 Q# S' @" D
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
3 P" W! [! V. j/ \$ k+ b" x0 ]+ N•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
7 L' N& d6 O: I: E3 X•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
- }: I" A& B3 [( g2 ]- I( u•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
8 Q; h9 F7 p' o& P8 [% C8 A* ?•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

: }& l# l1 d, D8 L+ x# Q•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
7 n9 ~- `  H" x" B4 v! }•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.8 `# T4 h! k! c6 z: J8 x$ c
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.* _% N* J3 P. D$ M

. D* E3 Q8 W& {•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

1 |& p9 c" z! E& G( |# M•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 0 W$ U! U1 L! l5 L/ T3 u
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 6 N$ h8 z4 K7 p: n
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
