Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

) F0 S! Y% a0 D- S& dMajor Responsibilities:
1 m7 ?  }' o& I2 v0 _/ e9 Y•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
. V. |) z$ A. X' ?4 Z& i$ R( Z•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.  f5 Q; g+ X2 C9 |
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  2 o7 |, y- ]  P7 z9 ]& t/ U
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
/ H: c+ @/ b6 j$ L6 o$ y•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
: f: N; H- P  L2 I7 H•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
7 y- _% ]$ p2 [2 u: `•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.' a+ r5 @& E# N
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
6 x* v$ j1 _$ p1 c- K" u1 V•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.* n# T9 z$ X* o6 N
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
! J  r1 R8 g, b6 @9 n•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
; R3 ^( J# `+ [6 [, ^•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. - p. x- S9 @( Y& v# ~6 _+ X
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ( u) ]9 L9 H" t8 Q+ u! V5 E9 R- Z
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
- ^; R- n. u' l( B, o, Z•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. - C3 Z5 V, k: U" C0 g8 R" m0 a
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
