Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant  v1 Q/ M  c0 I$ Z; E

0 w# ~3 ?! U6 L% ZMajor Responsibilities:
9 L9 _$ |. g; c% d5 O4 u6 ^: {  M•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
1 Q5 A9 M: o& j( S•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.% G2 U) N+ L! g% D
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
3 ?* y( U. ~* v' x6 l•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
, Z, A/ W" j' Y0 p' o- N5 o•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.7 C  x6 s. J+ i; v
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
5 a: i2 P; i& i9 [1 r•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.% r! l7 x: N. v) h( e+ x
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
/ E- x' [; @  g0 z/ C$ v3 ?4 C7 E•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
* W$ [" A" U3 u# J' u6 t•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
. i' S6 Y. q: `' j•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
% _! {  e  L7 q& A/ x7 Z1 ]. C•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.1 I, F+ ]& p7 u1 N6 N% D) X
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:6 F+ z: _5 k8 o& x+ O: {5 C1 Q
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
) m2 q3 [$ m2 N* L9 @9 s•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
# ^0 B' q3 P9 n7 m: m1 Z•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
+ L7 F, E1 e% [+ H2 v& [•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. : B- t4 b5 f! e
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
