Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager+ V, x+ n2 G7 Q. `8 X9 s' O

( S; w, X* ^5 }6 dMajor Responsibilities:
4 a" e5 y4 j; R" z•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
( I" L0 }9 l/ S! l; b* A•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.3 u) G7 x1 E/ @" v0 J6 O! P
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  * g" w5 K3 |' X" Z& A0 g/ S9 z, x
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
3 u2 F! D$ x3 j5 @# I+ K- F. q- C•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
4 Y' |( Q: Q( E+ X: Z8 K6 g•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
& X  {8 w* G, w: l! Q; h6 q  b; G•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.: V! N& B4 V8 y0 t% a& q5 [/ O
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive./ W# c" K  K9 h: T. ^8 i
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
( O) z; H2 ]. l! V% y" O•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
! ?+ x% o2 g8 Z•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
3 ^4 y# d/ ~. b) e7 h  U8 D! b•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.5 F/ j9 `# J6 p. A. Z. Y3 O! |
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
# P' M1 j4 C$ H  J! F5 }" A•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
