Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

0 u' B' M8 l4 V6 f+ \% U( ~. d1 jMajor Responsibilities: + J. A5 N7 M8 m* x7 ^: ?# R
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
, r* J& V( Z( `* u4 @• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 B6 d" H6 Y! o" b8 [8 n• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
6 h5 v' \7 Y: A& r7 f' U• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
' m8 G( Q; g0 B8 z6 c• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
1 Z' E, j* \. k; G- X: ^• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.' G' W! K+ g4 c/ `
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas./ w" M; `" ?- n
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.2 q/ f7 a8 K( B9 I: S6 |
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
# T5 a% p# I; v0 Q- O• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
5 I9 t u/ T+ l6 k' \ T. _" j u• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
* ~) z' X" g9 `2 R9 v6 a9 k• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
- v: }6 `/ ?: O! K! H0 D) G' b• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

, \! i, g1 e: O! G• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. - f7 G* y% U) K9 t% s* s
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. # v( E# |. p k& e+ T( L
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 6 [7 `( _& X, [0 w
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
2 k' y- \- j' i3 U• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
