Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant8 S' Q) q, k) N0 C8 ?
Location: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: 0 Q; h5 O; d- ]
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations. O" m! q) ~, s# N- h3 o, P7 Y5 i4 y2 f
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.* C& Y$ k& C) _% r) K1 v# \% K
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
- ]9 {+ C8 e o* S; t) Z% j• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.8 }: z0 v) I; K% e) ]- g
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
" |5 M$ H1 v) n! ~7 x• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.! _3 e4 ? z* `& n
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.+ x, R3 z+ B$ C8 M* ]7 T
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.* |9 a- y3 \6 B9 d4 ]" s
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.& R* ^6 A; s; d" y7 w
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.+ j- j; H0 _' r
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
, N$ @ j* O/ T% q6 ]% [5 U• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
. d! B w+ R T; c& ~: O• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.1 b ~4 `; [, q: \8 T5 a* O2 u) b

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
! U }9 _; y. X% [& | ]3 F4 N1 C• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ! W; G4 Z4 ?6 u/ c g- C
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # j j0 H M, j9 o
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ( L n8 K* L5 ?' g2 n6 b
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential$ ]; B, m. k% X- v
• Not scared of heights
