Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
& Z0 S$ F5 u- _5 q; z+ c; O# k# I2 f•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.7 O7 p6 h! k( A
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.; \6 d, ?: [4 ~
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
( d; M' e* x; E•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
- g  e4 k! L0 z* A! \  r•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
# ]6 O4 I8 Z- {, L( y•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.) C0 @, c% y- i! B' N
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
- {  m# e7 Q( m: z* Z$ G; t1 L0 q' H5 }•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
& }* Z% x( c! i7 j•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

. g3 m& X: ~3 ?" G2 b•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
# [# m& k/ G- ^* _$ E$ H. u& Q0 ^•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.7 I8 U; m0 P- N2 q" V* D& E
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.( }( C0 a1 q4 E) J* n( R" q
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.7 o, R7 k9 A" u

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 6 P2 B' l3 f: b. C( T/ i9 t% _7 d9 P& o
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( K' v8 @  D6 ?  b/ v8 k" h7 k•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
