Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
) ^% w' E' ?, [# T• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
2 ~: p( ?) J! W* T. M& P• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. * v0 L1 r1 E8 ]
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office., X) A& @6 I t3 G, m5 R
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.8 l% C8 ]' B. O( F- {
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
8 `+ n, q7 y. T' X2 [$ o• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
4 U1 X8 ]* F8 | Q8 h• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.7 C% j1 h- e+ R
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
; w0 E* d; z' Y9 F/ A/ y• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.# P9 h9 R \ }3 z
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.. e$ {6 w; c3 a" z
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.7 _' n# G/ t! @% C2 y4 o: P6 E
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

) p% t* V `2 v/ \Qualifications:) G5 @; k ^- p% L
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
& u& Q7 c9 `: i5 s0 A+ A9 |8 k• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ( z( f$ C+ F# Z U0 d: s! e
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 8 W+ O( D5 `; p* w' ^
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
9 ?, G' k, G1 K4 b! r1 v• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
; Y) ^- Q" N) b" n; G0 y• Not scared of heights" o: O! {* |$ v5 ~( s
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
