Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
; `3 Z; R0 K  e4 R# Y- Y•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
3 T  b$ S1 Z6 ^' P( ?" a; ~•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.- n. W) q" k$ `$ [5 u7 ?6 l
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
/ H9 k8 K/ g2 u2 C& P•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
  @  f* j* ?3 g9 k. H$ w/ I•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.2 ?6 ^5 j3 Y- [( ^  q- e0 |

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.8 H& g' P0 ?4 v- _1 v" Z( l" @! F0 a4 i
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.* J: y  U/ O  y9 O) }4 W; ?2 m
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.0 G# g7 X! |8 B4 T
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

9 Q- J- O8 ~: W* a# t# ]•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.   n* ]0 n+ ~  C! B' Y
