Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant" r# S/ f* i9 b3 ~4 `# N

Major Responsibilities:
2 s( W% o0 D& Y# e; ?•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.' t: i% A6 t; y% j
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.- b" z  A5 R4 ~) [: N4 n( q
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
& c$ v: m3 g2 c" k9 u  B4 M•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.9 R# s) K( X+ b3 q
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! P/ ~3 V, P) d7 k  Y5 g- Q
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.' h4 p  ^2 y0 d
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy., r) X* U7 r& V) N
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
) F2 o0 m- Z, k5 E# r•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
, l; k, p2 c! Z% L9 Z•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. : x9 J& h  ?2 e  l3 }" K
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
3 }# [, \5 e: i. K•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
