Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant, H' A4 S+ d* c: Y$ J! X7 g

Reports to: National Sales Manager

/ A H& n. [3 x. t. H% ?/ R# L: SMajor Responsibilities:
1 ^- m6 e, r( R) [# |: U( e• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
- Y1 Q! p# X0 N• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
- `/ o" A1 o# P• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. + w$ k6 F7 m, V$ P. o
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
- E: N! ?: @% `$ M* @• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
3 j8 p* q$ l7 |• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
1 t4 u6 H& N5 l& D' x• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
+ m% T: M% F9 j6 `% D, S• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
( i1 }4 g9 r% v; p• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 Z* }5 W1 O, |8 C) B/ `
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
$ f4 A# N& B9 b; B; X• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 x! R* A* T ?+ A. \• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
% G2 o3 P: i+ \) I, S" O• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:, I2 J: G+ J2 Q5 E- G
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
9 f2 ~' `! t/ G7 M1 `. _) u" H" w• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
7 O v1 J& o6 b2 q' P! |• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
6 Y' w$ Q& m1 f$ c' J( j# z• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. . O/ [! j/ g! s$ Y* J
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

( M6 r$ m8 Q+ i8 |* [& D; a# C• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
" c: @0 L. ~- k Y• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
" P% w( @+ l1 ?3 [# ^# k5 l* T' w• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.% n, V5 m) z V& ~
