Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
& I2 \9 n3 u- L4 I( Q• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
) F* q% T* H" y: @, z1 L, A5 [; v; a• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory. ^. I5 F! R0 V5 u
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 9 y, r1 y. _& `
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
9 H/ Y& E9 n6 _0 h• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
" i, c. Q4 T2 W, j# E• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.5 E, I& w. J% @7 a7 ^
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
. @) |2 r% S+ o/ N7 ?+ U' k6 M6 E/ W• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
$ l6 m6 g( d5 O• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
) V- Q* ^1 ~ @4 j• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.5 D: J0 T4 `. E: p. @0 ] I
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.' R9 @% r% i8 f
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
; p3 x9 \$ x: Y9 `; H1 [• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.9 y" q W1 S7 u; h7 ~: u" m* N: `; P
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
. Q, v9 T1 U+ ?* q0 f x9 g• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
% a% J6 e8 Q3 p9 A ^• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
4 a, d4 d3 c, E/ M J' _, O! A0 }• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
, y3 |8 j4 Z8 |) X! m# b• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
8 |2 x2 A. J$ x• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other8 Q4 d% I9 h0 E E6 A* U4 @
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
; X3 x( T* X/ R" g/ x- T6 R• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
