Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant. W% l& k8 @' U
Location:        Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: 2 v+ O7 y0 V3 H5 g/ K/ w: e
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
) t  @( [$ K8 N4 w/ _4 [  J/ T•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.. J+ ]+ V: Q8 A5 ~
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  ' {. A1 k1 l  V7 P
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.; u0 ], n0 T- ^$ _  C; K% y) C
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.$ b) l5 G  I5 H8 `+ h: C
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.1 D/ a5 b6 C, ~' K; R
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ u$ J' z+ c! i  e7 ^•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
  L9 t) a- D: i) i•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.. x& F& B" J8 W+ B* J- g& C
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.- C8 i" ~) z4 P1 {& T  E- ~
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
: l: X; P8 d: G: q8 c: {2 q( V•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.4 [* z* P: i/ B  n% c7 |) C( U
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. " e  I3 D( I% m: h0 f( m# o2 l
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( ?# |7 E5 o. g% v0 i- N•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
! \3 {5 f) u$ n7 y4 @% g% B•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
5 o4 ~* n0 b- `$ [•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
