$ J' D- s. m! E9 w: uMajor Responsibilities:
2 W  _; I  y3 A•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
) _/ d& o3 F# e! P•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
& V9 B+ Y' ?/ \3 G+ y•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  % o" E1 m0 \( P" Y/ N+ p
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.& a# I7 A( q# ]/ [# |; Q, \
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
+ b4 |: h( V: _% c5 |8 \•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
$ {) f8 @; J4 K•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.! T# o! h4 g; D' f
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
' S& E  i4 z2 P; Z# h/ g+ b$ }2 H•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.# J* l. z9 t9 E+ o% E' D
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
+ R% z1 t3 j3 m, ^4 P•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.9 @  s: H7 B8 s/ A1 ~1 p
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
$ u" e& t3 r+ f•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

% M! a' ^! H. A•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
' x9 f3 I$ y. P•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 7 z) B& X' G; ^2 x% m, K. Q' S2 m
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 0 @6 I& E/ s) A3 J" X
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
8 I9 K. j4 ]" P, X•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential; a3 ]" U2 K6 s; ?+ ]# y6 K
•        Not scared of heights% f; a" t8 ^2 J
•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
