Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant- Q4 z4 c2 f9 D# u/ ^# J7 L  o

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: ; m' x1 H2 A" f! ^. E
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
( M1 S0 {& G5 m•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.$ W# b% j' l* A5 l. V
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  ' f+ q: ~$ E5 x' \
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
$ i% n) C# j/ Y0 V•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
* m) a1 B* R  B0 B' E•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
  m4 d+ V- Q& ?5 z) W; j% s1 i•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas." D+ y* g' k# c  q2 }
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.6 ^( ]1 W5 M( p  U; O/ s
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

$ A2 F% ?" _/ J' v" d•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.( {; ^. Y& `5 D, Q6 I$ K
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

Qualifications:
8 t" o# P7 s9 h3 M" h5 X•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. % j$ n: L1 I. _1 p( N( r
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. & Y- W6 r& u9 j4 {9 Y
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
. T4 o3 b6 q& k: w- A' c•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
: K8 ?5 ^; h; O( C2 A4 t/ B1 B8 m•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
