Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
; f- C3 T; M1 r: z; y/ D• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ y$ |! |! V; V' P) v* V+ \• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.% B3 }; t- W' ^ ]: [
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. , q5 j$ V4 H) R% o9 N& _' n1 U
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office./ U Q( j! |6 q
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.- H* L4 Z1 _+ M0 _
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
, F- K2 I0 J+ g2 v• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ e; J( V" ]) j. n" g/ T• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
0 T9 o f, \: E# ]4 \0 |& F" h( j• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
* o, M7 O+ q6 U• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
# u) J7 X$ t" d• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy., m' m9 C4 _; f# V8 K+ H/ a H
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.% d U" x0 q; k
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.7 P) ~6 s- U! [5 s' s

' S# e+ a7 z! h# wQualifications:
/ ]* \( H6 X: O0 C( Z7 X: m• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
% S. _5 f$ Y, h* p• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. # U4 H# n% z' @/ z9 b
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 2 Z) v( p Y0 X) J _6 b
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
1 }0 P, U( [) Y3 p$ ]• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential/ `, `; n) l0 w# D/ v: g
• Not scared of heights
' s1 J6 _# P/ M" U+ d M: [! N4 R* a1 R• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
. T2 D$ F* E. q( C• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 8 q, M6 t) w: O2 B
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
