Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant$ ?/ ~' l# B/ ^1 u1 `
Location: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: ! Q- X" V5 u/ Z) y) G9 ]
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
. d% j. |0 x4 S C0 a0 ^• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
7 h6 H {1 ]" a• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. V/ T& @4 z/ M9 s# @
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.* t% G3 h- Z; Q0 _. a
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas." U- p# |& |( \0 E" Y! g6 |9 E
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
& L0 a( y3 c6 t% r• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

0 z- M7 ]. a) R3 f• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
* X% b9 f; m+ u: O% ~. l- w• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.& z0 _% @+ |* ^- d& M$ U
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.! ^* v/ j% t+ A% I" z
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.$ g3 A- c- j5 R R: w$ G) R
( O2 D A6 e7 yQualifications:; }) c+ {6 D/ w& x7 V
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
: y9 A2 C4 y6 [, V1 N' U0 W! J• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
7 K. ]4 Y0 R/ s- J• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. : N% @' |! @2 y7 z' n5 y, G
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
9 N4 G# J( x2 S: Z2 P; z, K+ N2 {9 Z• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

7 B }! B- ?$ I$ h9 v• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
- X# C: [: @: K• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
