Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 3 h. ~" o, v( a( l) f4 T
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.1 l1 g- i4 s" ?) o( t% ?# z" z
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
$ P3 u/ W4 c: |- ?# R+ j$ v• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 0 d4 i3 a4 ^* J i( S) u
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
! {( g$ y2 w8 j% T# ?& X• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
% c- v' D6 m8 [' k8 J1 V• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area. r$ G7 B$ G. e$ _& e
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
, a# F1 D9 I2 ^5 m) P7 a• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
- b3 A( L8 h: ~& d3 t+ J• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
, A5 v, f" z7 d0 j• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.9 g, x2 z' V$ V7 T$ ]7 x! `( Y
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy. l9 a/ R" Y& b6 ^6 x. G8 r
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.- h; F ^: a7 R' e/ V
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

7 N, ~# D* O B3 nQualifications:
5 I! X* p+ ^/ ?# K5 X) I• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. & i% Q8 _/ F0 S7 J' ?7 T" M; o( a# G
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. " ?! q+ Q o5 D+ I5 o8 F6 G" Z3 [. N
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
) p& t5 h, Z' |9 V( I' ^$ h6 l. y• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 6 i; U5 D5 }1 I. C# l
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

' D; R0 w3 A0 I+ P• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other* m. s# X! z% i/ @: i
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. m8 a9 d$ f. l5 ^; A. _5 @. B, ]. p
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.1 M5 s7 c4 u/ x& R, v
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
