Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
6 ]) A! O% t4 F7 y9 V) C• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
4 B+ l7 P6 ]/ v' K4 V8 l9 B• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.' k; O7 c: g C. I! p6 ]
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
. j, @. m" m& A2 p: r: F j7 i5 y. E• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.: Y7 |8 C0 W$ ]+ d- T! t$ ?7 y2 G% b
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ [# _# R7 `% Y• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.! F: l" |9 j& W+ O: _
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.8 A# e1 r& F* J! w+ k
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
1 p( T/ w/ {" t" f5 m. C! j7 p• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy. [5 |4 I0 w H! n9 @7 b: O
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
' z* u+ F% ^- I# u+ M• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required., X- E& @5 D" l3 U
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. & N. x7 C! W5 A9 q' ?3 M
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. W% y5 Q( ]; E
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
$ w% \; ^8 `3 m• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.

• Not scared of heights

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. - b$ _6 ]. _: e6 N5 b- G
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
