Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
( Q, V/ s" E6 y b• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory./ S& T, @! {8 [! q6 S* P: _1 ^, D
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. - A, a+ `, K# H4 [7 l/ J A
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
$ O4 t* w- P& h$ |5 m3 s$ B% }• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
, v, a+ A. K3 H3 j/ v1 I• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.! O w. p# Q$ b, X m* d) }' c
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

+ P* r7 E f/ f. K* K2 t• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.! q f7 a; V2 ^: I" v9 s- D) C) Z
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.# ]+ H. X4 ~5 K# \$ {
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.9 s5 O+ Q! n9 f. k0 U( d6 Q8 B
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
/ e: i0 Z( k) `9 P7 U• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.+ S2 N% s) F# p" G
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. , U% w; q! b7 u t
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
& s1 K1 d5 B X# h6 a. d: O9 R• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ; s# k2 t, p9 |& |; P2 k
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
R: ` h3 p. f2 G• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential. Y6 a6 l9 u( v) ]
• Not scared of heights4 ]- X; |, e& ~0 y* _
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
- E/ B$ j& I1 Y) d% {8 [% c• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
) A2 U- X) ?' w• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
