Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

4 w6 l2 G- {; N$ a4 m0 e) M8 AMajor Responsibilities: 6 |+ l8 @% y$ T1 ]
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
' B- h7 g l$ ~& j# k; K• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.. Q- G$ b4 O' _2 o7 r
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. - F- x# J! N/ ~( M2 p; l
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
( l1 j6 v3 a) ^3 f• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
" Z3 H P4 `5 {* o2 A: J: L' V/ K: ^1 q* [• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
$ I. a, L+ v$ G8 e6 k3 F. V• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
7 c& x H2 z: r* x4 i q• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.+ ~ w A) D) F
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
( f _% y: q3 L8 L# r8 l f• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
* ^6 Z" h0 A# B- s7 q• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
' p# Y0 y, p, Y/ }1 |2 ^. X% a' h5 o• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
- s2 T- _: X! b* o: S4 }! G• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ) a) y3 I& A4 U1 {3 _
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
' y, l, Y* a9 J: h( k' z0 i• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. + W6 l! j& J5 g9 L( I' B
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other$ o4 y' ~/ R! n( P. b
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 1 p# Y9 o' O e2 j+ k
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.# q4 c+ Q6 U5 b+ y v' l' r
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
