Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2# q! T! ?! f. G) m; o4 Z8 F5 g' n
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

& L' z( |: p& U; h2 qMajor Responsibilities: ) z% b1 ?7 ~' `+ ~" h+ C
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
) w% c& S% C* Z4 G+ W0 Q" I+ D• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.; k# |; P6 |% b9 U0 X# i4 m0 `2 ]
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 1 R- ]) t4 N% N8 o3 _$ D
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
! O" I& x% u, H% K- g$ @• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
! i. d2 X2 {7 e8 Z• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.8 ~2 O* Z8 H4 t, g: e' D, t
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.6 j; d5 o# j0 C2 {6 F
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.) S. l3 v) _; J ^5 y
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
! X- a' N- P5 s7 B& U0 D• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.3 x4 ]) y! w7 R* N
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.; r1 |+ q j8 g5 }; h$ X5 l
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
: E1 W1 k+ C7 _- @" }4 b• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
) [& D# l3 |3 E0 b5 |• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
( D/ s+ _$ |' e, L• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
2 @$ E/ u6 c* O% I6 _9 F• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ! ^1 k" H/ V- x
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 7 A$ Z8 P5 i0 f4 {" ]! c# K) S' W
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other* H$ i, c: C* o; u
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
