Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

. c8 O# z: }2 d2 D3 V& u5 gMajor Responsibilities: + j* B: D! H! K1 `7 n# O
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.' h: h; J6 C5 N* E8 R( h
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
+ Y5 t2 Y. N6 w/ S. d• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ' H" I) l' L4 A! Y) ~9 n7 m
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
1 h3 E8 Z3 g' s7 B( Z• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
1 g( A$ V& |0 J8 m• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.: Q; m% {8 u c. m2 P$ ^
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:# d$ X. b8 w( L/ l2 g' N
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. l0 Y" C' j4 l6 _$ B0 j! {
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ; C. U G2 a: y7 s$ g( N6 |
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ( l0 Z: _# P- V: g) i. b9 e
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. & ]' \7 g, {: X# Z6 c
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential, B! E! b6 R. @" d) j6 E
• Not scared of heights7 H. E* g# r' h" S
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
. p, Q) t1 m. t& F• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
