Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

+ y0 t1 ]) a( ]. h* L( _# j•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
( u8 j; Q: g3 D( H0 p. x* y7 i•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.  j  D8 l; G! |! H  ?( r
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  6 v/ D2 F& c5 J3 _- k& r: O
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
# {* E7 U' k; a  l•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
8 {. h, W- o; F+ ^. L•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.* r& t2 _4 v8 p
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas., e6 s  C; Q% M5 U$ T; [
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.* L! c, `2 O, A. X$ V) x4 y
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy., k; z% \; r( D5 h9 |* I" i
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
! S# L) r9 W" _, |4 J2 [. D•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
4 m' X; t) t+ n# Q0 v# k•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 7 _% o4 A, d2 J' F
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 2 }8 o- N  m1 r
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ! e: o1 j9 {* I9 J4 {8 L
