Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

+ E* s  t' ~  V  W5 p9 V•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.& n5 j8 S& j7 W1 a
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
: H4 h7 E- U7 \, A* t' C2 p7 L  c•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
: {% J  ]6 C6 V5 O3 A  j8 S•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
% I3 B" b; y; y8 _" z% B% p- I8 B7 K9 u•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.  `# \+ g  ~) v, D5 E  ?; ?
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.; F- L6 L3 `. n
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.- J' j4 e- B& f. f, v( o
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
4 M" l- H1 v- N: z$ D  K•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.7 v6 l) S  [6 O  D' S
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
* H' F( j7 `, X5 }•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
