Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
- r+ v, s9 \' \( x' l2 K• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
6 J4 ]8 \5 ^3 z• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.. W+ q+ _& z. E
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ; n/ F& D, L& E+ j; E
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.' N; W' z1 x/ j! b" y+ f
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

' z0 U% X M) h5 B M• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.8 ~9 s) [# T8 K2 A& K+ E# G! o$ E% I
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
' f$ u" j6 n- H- K) f& b: k• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:2 P5 u1 r- M! T0 h& I
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
4 {0 k# d+ X0 l: i2 G$ j• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 5 k6 E l1 o) }, N+ L; U% v5 n
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. + e a9 a4 E) G T: n6 j
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
5 ]6 Z Z0 L: X6 f• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
