Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant" o& c3 v8 D+ I _9 l N
Location: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities:
" I, @1 p# z+ K- Y" Y( r• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations. y( {6 Y" M: e+ @8 Y, R5 y
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
2 u% a5 m: J$ I7 S* L9 e• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
" p. d( a$ k+ \8 D' X S• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.+ w& c+ X7 a. w/ p/ N
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! x. d! k' Q! [* B$ T
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
C; ]) e; n7 s1 H• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas./ K' c% ^% e! H- K6 z
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., o8 H1 S) u/ ~6 A+ l" B
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.& v( o7 d/ n& E& \/ p- Z
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
# @! L% Q. P% S/ ]- }" p& E• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.4 u: A4 u0 f$ N8 d/ X; k
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications:, \4 l! l$ A7 T+ ^4 J# d
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 6 r$ g b& k3 s& n3 @
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 u. j+ e+ K0 \/ K• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
( w5 E) ^: v6 D. Y5 c• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
/ Q1 c6 g* P5 d9 F• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

+ v+ G9 ~) H2 T5 K+ @4 p• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other8 D3 i2 S4 _+ K1 E& p
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. * h+ @9 q4 b8 ~4 V
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
