Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
1 ?" {5 A4 B+ n" o6 o9 p•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
: {! y* y: c4 n) w0 f; G•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 C) I1 R. h5 @2 f# i•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  : ]! t! d: G- p7 U# u# J9 ~9 h
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.  k7 U  S4 {8 D+ d' |
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.2 [* i) L1 v1 N8 `4 o
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
7 G4 ]/ B  s7 t•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

& Z# D6 z% J1 i* ^* |6 k•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

% r  D6 U! \3 F% c; b8 t•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 4 |/ |7 a; ^& ?
