Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
! O! k- A9 w8 B! c/ b; X•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.0 h4 R) m2 q/ _1 a
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.4 ^* X5 t% l& b# q
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
) F( D  U& U" n4 j8 b) Z; ^. h•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.0 s& i& i+ t/ X( _8 E5 i
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
+ N) ]/ S& {  g" X) x•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
& U5 D5 ]  K6 Z7 S9 x•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.' ?. K; T8 e; D5 O+ d
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
