Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: ( e$ _# @2 Z/ F7 k
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.8 R% H. E- j* v8 E: r" b% w, \8 a5 _' ]
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
8 V- S" }( x+ _+ e# ^•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  ! m) S" L/ a) Q+ e! L
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.

•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
% T1 y! e' E) i5 c2 ?% a% j•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
; o9 s! Z: e; x) j3 _! g' f# @•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.) N+ a  o$ X' \( ^. X+ v  \
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

* Q0 E2 y/ K" ]9 `: G•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.9 G! Y) X* b: {- u
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.! Q9 a/ H& e4 w! A! L1 [5 P
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
& g6 `# f) ]2 v) i" d•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
$ }. R/ q, H* U. p) h- g•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 r' e2 Z$ Y3 p+ x  i•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. % b7 C1 e7 d9 p1 T" ~5 s' _; }
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; {# \" P6 {) V. I1 y+ k•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
