Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant- ~( ~6 p7 A" o- J

Major Responsibilities: ; S( b8 D7 N2 u' C; i7 M, {
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
: J/ g" i0 n% F. o& y5 l5 O•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.1 l- B  B7 u: h7 C" Z+ {
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
) C$ a$ z6 x. v: K" O" F' f. z•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office." S# e) c( \( L9 [! E
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
( Z7 Q! z: b3 {•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.( v" v' }6 @# U; @2 T
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
. S$ u! @7 t  ]3 u•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.+ G1 u5 j' {4 s" k3 L
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.$ t  E- v% y1 K& [
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.# T4 f/ M  c3 m* c  W; j
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
/ x7 ~) Q! w: U0 u•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.& i7 A1 J" n) N; f$ i, L" X
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
% e1 z6 L5 k! v6 T) G# H2 c4 X•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:; O" o- X% a/ A3 d3 j& y# G' [' _8 p
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
1 B" }) C0 `$ U0 Z+ M4 d, z•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ; s- ?! D5 C; u% [
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
) a! K1 X$ a" X; u7 [7 m( X•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. : c+ A% N1 I0 ~$ ]7 E# ?
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential) T# ?: ^" J" j
•        Not scared of heights
