•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.) B: s, j2 r' j$ z
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
  M' g+ ~6 |: x3 {$ l•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  5 h! o0 U$ p; d) {. R+ u
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.3 W$ q( B9 u3 {2 Q- t* T
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.% k; t- F2 |7 K! ^
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., n2 \5 \) K$ P
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
3 j( m* J7 }4 U: j•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
5 S$ F# X9 h" C* j& {0 o$ j( {) G. I•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.0 v% W2 P3 u& T" E3 W! _. j
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:: m% T3 T8 J1 s9 {; v. K" m
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. $ V) W: u2 {  a, t' r/ T6 F
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 0 F( Q$ Y/ _/ q
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 9 z) q& T* h* p( D2 c) o
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 0 B+ R% T# p) p
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
