Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
0 ^* ?* W8 K5 K  n/ v$ N4 I/ W$ j, C•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.2 V5 S* |* D1 l: M) \: w
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory." Y+ r% V4 J$ U% Y5 \% e0 ]  R1 S
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  % \- Z! }/ B) P1 Z
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.2 N5 R. ~( E9 X. R: @1 k
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.0 W$ }9 B1 i* f2 S+ }+ Q
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.# R. Y$ `" s8 Q9 V
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.4 `0 r$ x! N! M" b0 i. N- X2 a
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., \3 o/ f+ v7 x+ U% d/ ~, ]
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
8 F) F- X$ f/ k7 i•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
/ ?2 q1 |0 P; W" k1 @: y2 ~•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.4 H. T& ]% ^; U4 a
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
4 d) ?2 Q& s" G0 [•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
- ^  e) Y+ ?9 V•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
1 [" g: E6 R3 U. {6 S4 J/ O•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
4 S: V1 x! b! Q2 C  B•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
6 `# S6 s& u0 _- ], \' h8 y2 y•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
  f+ E3 J/ ?% W! {! J•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
