Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: - [. y A2 g4 C, y* i$ S
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.% x% E% l5 i( h4 v# S' j
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.* u5 Q8 `% d3 E5 G
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
- d5 Y* z+ r( ~8 d' z• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.: D4 W6 R* O4 m9 O
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.' ?6 |1 k; g+ m* U
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.; h9 g1 t) ^6 C
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.9 ?4 W7 ~8 B" x" `% m8 t
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive." H0 Y1 ] Y0 r
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools. Z% `5 x F, m" z( ^ f
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.- r Z3 x; T9 q1 \/ [
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
% P7 X$ V; p7 P3 W) V• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes." W1 s+ m4 H; m# ?' }# M, _
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

" J' I8 j7 g6 k. H' {• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. * g- l/ f9 M( n" [1 }" W1 c* h
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 4 |$ {/ q1 K0 K
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 5 _% K4 g* F, ^: O& F% o
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
! V. Y7 q$ u. z9 ?3 O1 a1 M• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
# }& w( n1 m& ^0 G• Not scared of heights
& V @( A$ T' f; Q+ n/ O• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
