Location:        Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: 9 `$ |0 s7 q1 J) j( ~
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.3 t$ n. P( A/ K7 H6 a
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.$ B& h! u1 e$ P8 d6 d% }" `
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  ; f  R) U: D3 r# [0 M! L# \
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.

•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
) g( ?+ B* M! N. S3 @•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
/ n$ c6 J  Q. W5 p•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
4 C( w& i$ h' N1 M, A•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
8 B$ @" }( c4 N& Q) s, i* |•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
. }, v$ @! u" R•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
5 B; i4 U$ G: H1 X6 [•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:5 W3 }; d$ G! i. |6 H5 ~  s
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
; {  e; @  J! X8 R) I. {•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
2 w6 I- N9 y' H* ?•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
  N. C0 {9 w1 L. [8 V& ?8 Q•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
4 O  b; [$ t- }; v; j•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
