Reports to: National Sales Manager

- L4 V% v, ^4 [' H4 p: `" }Major Responsibilities: . @, C q) b, @; }
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." F- p% Q& D R4 u
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory." u- b) N1 D1 l. X- m% I+ g" E9 r
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
% Q# u% }+ E ~6 H' C+ s• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.7 P9 C" R s7 O ?# m" p( u
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.5 w( T1 B e: i6 P
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
: `/ S3 S6 K7 x8 _% p) Z• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
% V) q3 Y, z5 W/ C- }6 V3 c• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.! a7 i" f) P4 ?6 _; B
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.: g% {, }5 k4 a- K2 e
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.) A7 h- u1 h H+ r# |+ o( ?
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:( q" t. @5 J# i9 n
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 ]) R, c7 {- P. G1 I. P$ a( S
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. : h' q) A! z( e6 b
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 7 I, F5 r# B. m* z- m$ v
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 5 u! c0 ]. y: k! V) F2 a
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other& L5 X4 v! u" \. O% d* A$ `! X' S
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. . Y2 T6 Y t" O1 h7 O, M
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
