Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 28 D4 [6 ^; l! y4 q$ o
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities: T: Z! {# S/ H# C- b: z
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
# e0 Z/ a" ~! }8 L• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.! _/ n3 M% ^; d9 b; i7 ]) v c6 q
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 0 o: n; |4 S$ k! k: q* }0 y+ y# J
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
$ f$ y6 Z" S9 @3 h1 y• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
E# U$ R6 m q- ^3 W2 `6 n- j• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area." P; d1 n; \. N" S3 `- v
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.( W3 v% r) g, {$ z# A' T! v
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
" }1 Q& Y7 p5 R5 ~3 Q8 e6 R• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 \4 e% m, \0 d9 o2 ~' b. |0 a
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.6 {% c$ z3 i) H8 u4 w7 h3 p
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
% H5 \ k6 q1 n$ S: x6 `8 K• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
. N& t4 @2 A: a+ z• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.9 F) `0 l( h6 @$ k, V
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
4 p' K- ~/ y1 g• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. , {; F7 g: W, S- y2 X
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( q) u5 Z# g( @5 a• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. + ?4 P/ R0 I+ T5 k' h3 `) M, }' l
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
& @- x# w" v& a+ D0 K* G0 K9 f1 ^• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
* N/ g5 F: Q9 s; b5 [& v z7 `• Not scared of heights1 s4 U: G) v" c1 y
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other, f5 l: }$ ]% W, R v* }
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 7 O1 q$ m6 D# o/ D3 O% u
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.( [3 W0 P; v3 b7 x
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.$ O5 T9 R8 ^3 V* Y0 F
