Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant# B1 f9 `) h( `' [/ `+ G# O( _

Reports to: National Sales Manager n! N+ s8 z& u: v# S! Z# d$ F! A

Major Responsibilities:
9 X9 }8 M3 i3 k• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
4 ?. P9 O8 L' K7 p. o# S% S) Y- {% L• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.0 n" \# O- z/ G0 Z, ^+ V2 g0 {
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. / u8 n, o3 ]$ T1 \% o
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
: F( ?. [# z) b! v8 g• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
; C+ j, G8 F2 ]' M8 o% }* {4 f; \( _• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
+ T1 f* Z7 Y8 a• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
5 {2 r+ `% Q. t7 h% `5 O• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.3 v2 g, T' ^0 k+ Z5 x3 {) `8 U( V
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
6 H E" A: i) }! b F• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
* w. x( v& O8 I$ E7 i2 j• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.3 `( O! B6 A! x
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.7 Y F8 ]8 u3 u F/ u' p
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required., [+ e7 w9 [+ q. o+ f# X
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.& @8 O: w/ x3 X6 I' ~

8 _0 T, r) K- @" [% f• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
; b3 ]6 T x- ~) ]" p; Q• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 C k4 K/ m o9 @, o$ |9 p/ @- u• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. , A0 j1 Q. n# q) ~
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 7 L+ _2 ~0 I, n' {+ p3 v! i8 f
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
' g9 B5 x8 b% f• Not scared of heights

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 8 @# L; Z2 m# `
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
