Major Responsibilities: 5 }% E0 {6 y1 E2 t9 n2 x0 Y7 Y
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
, f4 S6 `+ A& Z, j" r- @• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
' y6 R& U0 H1 P) i, E• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. " c% O' w$ M, P8 m7 U
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.3 g3 U O5 @. f ^6 L, }# C
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.$ \; `+ B2 G) L7 D" o3 z2 _
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
6 ~! U R# k0 m! ~! J( j, `- Z• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.& ~" ?) Y, b+ [& S+ i' X
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
- T& n6 [( E" h+ m• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
5 v& G* A4 S, t9 \/ Z• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.2 \1 w- C( {: p2 S. s
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.5 a4 i+ b$ u3 W
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
+ t' d% I% k+ ~• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
; f0 T: l8 P8 t) B/ p9 h- c/ N• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ) A) v$ `3 ^5 J2 H E: J
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
+ Z& P0 A0 V2 n• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential* @ @9 p* x ]
• Not scared of heights( H" X2 T) B/ _. A! h: ^8 B/ \, m z
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other! U+ d- K( X8 b" G; D9 A
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. " h+ \9 M9 M7 z7 P/ _8 [5 ^
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
