Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: 9 `; _; o' j" v w
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.2 B% p! W6 Y, ~' O
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
) p& m U3 n. @3 o) Z/ u0 Y9 O: R• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 3 c; t9 T# K, ]
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
$ d& M, j9 Q, x( ?% }# g3 t• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.9 ?) R2 ]# L4 H- R. Z% B5 ~
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area./ S9 A- g" v, D9 _' W. I
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.7 R' w9 k. H& Z
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.2 s, F) ^( i4 F0 \3 v: @
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
7 b0 \) J5 C$ S) h- H- E• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
1 z8 v, `1 f& W; a- t7 l• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.1 ]1 J/ ?; `2 p" a0 Q. f o
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications: _% b. B: l8 z. i- i3 @ X. b5 ~! j
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 u3 k% |0 r6 Y' Y1 b
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. & A1 Y _, o0 c; W+ A
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. / `4 ^* L4 D9 c" E; H; ^5 ~! a9 p
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
! ?3 T; k# p& e; N: L7 @• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
