Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager' [& V) P5 C+ j7 N5 F

7 V3 X3 Q7 \2 [8 Q' g# [Major Responsibilities: % s. z& D1 l m$ J# A# m M0 b
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
1 G j7 Z- A- m$ X+ v, `, n• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.2 l( J2 {) p M5 g- i& N o
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
5 L n$ Z7 A" E0 h5 t6 I# U• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
' s3 B3 H% L9 y0 U; U• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.- ]3 `- P3 ~0 R6 ?( v' `
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
9 c, _7 D% ^1 @$ T0 s1 H( g• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas., t2 d4 l& n7 p$ s$ K# o
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.2 S- g0 |5 W0 N* ~- |
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.0 s7 g2 H. X" K5 e1 |
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
E' h' e( v5 |1 [% U, [• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
8 k3 f5 ?) E# N! ?- z• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

$ z$ X# O: U( s) MQualifications:4 I7 C- w: L3 c+ l0 D3 J
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. 1 u/ w, @4 V4 y U, u
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ' ~) V3 m& W; x0 E2 F3 K3 x, C0 S
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 5 Q& e2 V: h5 x3 U
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 7 M# k5 G7 d3 S; d e t
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

1 D' r" A7 |9 D( _, r9 b• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
2 C7 I/ O H+ r& j& w• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
