Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2/ z) ^* X/ ?& e: Y
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

9 Z! x1 r5 b7 g. h/ e* s3 @1 tMajor Responsibilities: " Q; g3 ^3 V+ `) M8 R0 c* r
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., ]3 W" X5 F. [, r; X
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
# m4 ]8 a3 v7 i6 G! y• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. : n# d0 q4 d" U+ O2 M
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.8 @1 r3 J+ _; \" l
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.5 B# d! J+ W9 P
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area. i* p7 z3 N( ~, V! ~- B
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
. L3 ]+ B, A; ~• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
# P% m! z7 }! o/ e% g0 M; P• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.7 o \- g6 L8 @- R
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.' [( v' ^ R0 x1 I3 G
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.1 J) }2 G% q; f8 v7 T
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

' L) Z2 y! i: }7 u' N2 E/ bQualifications:' M! } f: P$ D5 F& D* y, ~" k
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. 6 {/ A$ x. v) n
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
* h+ S, ?2 G2 M" K% ?8 t/ F S: e, g• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential* u6 ?! g' Z! l- l* d0 n
• Not scared of heights

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 8 T7 h; y" J2 w" W# C: ^/ H8 C" Y
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process. B/ x) V$ |" d! n% s. W" o0 B
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
