Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: & e3 Q- B T1 `. V0 k: Z4 @7 n
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.; w- E& @3 f9 E2 [/ Q# T1 Y/ r6 c/ A
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.: A8 q8 ^ z# B s' b- j
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
2 {2 e0 V& R4 `, `/ a• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.4 Y9 f8 `) c) m( h2 |& }' L
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis., h9 g; e1 k5 G
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
* g, Y* w* S+ e/ \# d7 C6 P* `/ s• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
& e I* T! p+ `$ w+ y• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
) g4 v; V1 F8 ]• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
' M! T& q, T5 |8 G; |2 P• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
$ X; T3 ~' }+ u" Y* m• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.4 Q+ L3 u1 ?7 D& s9 c% D
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
/ N8 D( F6 v5 k) Z" D/ q! I• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

: H2 m; }) x7 ]: S9 Q• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
% m" Z: a A7 W% z, S: V• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 ^% H r0 |0 |* b- D& \. F• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 1 H- j. Z4 u% S6 v
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.

• Not scared of heights# {' e3 c, ?- G5 i
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other* d7 M& \; [" x9 r% I! n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
