Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

: y# f5 M7 v8 I! vMajor Responsibilities: . v. M" ^+ F6 g
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
) S9 h# L4 f" Z6 Y3 I8 G7 q• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.. l. j% y3 H" }8 I# N9 {
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
' J/ D$ z5 v0 B; }• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office., X9 ~' a% }2 }
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
; K3 r1 r( Z1 s8 N8 a/ X, Z x• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
& Z: b" o/ K" o7 B# J• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
: `1 I Q8 D: t" b; [' o• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.2 q7 W. ]% ^4 }3 f( I$ c3 i) q. W
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools., A3 m: J0 P& G% ?, p1 o
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.1 b. D$ Y8 I( q M8 Y7 j7 a
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.; X$ p8 `! ~: J% X: M5 s5 B
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.+ T, ~) L" b8 i E0 W
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
+ H. ]0 E$ Q+ @1 D8 V• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. . y8 D7 M" Q* V& B
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ! g( N Y% y' @( C! I* E0 ?
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. $ T" O/ p' \7 Z+ B' D
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other! w( L* ~1 k F2 e2 {9 ]! i3 O
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
