Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: * {2 [7 N5 h. O- B* l# U% q
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
1 s# m$ p5 V7 t" S" q: n1 D3 N* g• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
) S9 e2 u7 Z& r R$ q$ A' s• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
' M: Y1 b. ?2 W) Y+ L1 {• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.6 r) I7 t$ I) B# {" e# r2 G) h3 E
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
2 l0 f& ~0 Y1 I% y9 g• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
: k# V0 N5 c x8 X2 _5 B; a8 m• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.0 ~ S9 L1 P8 P
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
1 a4 Z' W- i* Y" C9 U- p/ ~• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
; ?7 h$ l% b% L }$ O1 q• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
/ O- d$ E( K# h• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.% H8 `$ F5 d# }9 a* ~* Q
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
' T8 F9 j+ U7 `3 s0 U• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.0 N n9 l/ {) e$ \0 p& V
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

) n! U3 s$ ^/ V, _• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. % p ]7 H& L* [% B
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
1 G5 t# I6 X" G ]1 x9 w/ T• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
. a* ]3 r3 A- G/ G) N• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ; j: T$ \2 O3 ?6 R( O
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential0 H. ]# j$ i0 k0 G: K
• Not scared of heights- [8 B# I0 P2 Y1 M7 {1 T( }
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
