Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

3 U; r4 g% }/ F7 JMajor Responsibilities:
" V9 w) k2 R1 P( b- ?• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.4 e' c2 t# ]4 l: T5 `' I
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.6 \3 a5 u5 J& ]6 k- P7 e" x
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 5 l' m! m" W' }! x6 [
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.* Q3 g1 `0 o& y) z0 q1 J
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
) L3 \, m: B" B' Q4 [0 O8 i- t V• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.. ]' Z- L; O1 a* v' I: M
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
- f9 @( h& j. r2 P• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.( T7 o9 j' ]5 w1 i
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
7 c! L" p9 h1 C; \• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
, _3 U. I A% [5 I• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.! c% A. a3 T1 z# w |
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.0 a; ]( F5 J& O+ x) a2 T* ^
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.3 Y N) a7 a4 d# j" m
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

* F, j! R( k# _2 q3 ]• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
% @$ y3 f# f( I, }+ b0 b6 L+ l• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
& t+ Z! E6 \7 m3 P/ I• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
" V/ V; U; F* i# p• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. - N' f( O5 T; J
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

( `9 h V/ |( d; Q• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
