Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
# Y# i9 S& u; y. @% |7 a j• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.( k4 ]5 i9 r: l+ x; ]* C( f! v
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
. S' [2 b3 ?; O6 y• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ! _$ Q! H6 N9 t! c. v# z4 Q
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.! p7 k' ~- \* v3 n/ A! Q
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
! c6 I1 [ m# `• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.: M+ [; D7 E P, S3 z0 Z
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.! @5 ?; G& |( B! l! J- u5 y
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
( {2 o& n9 r0 U/ t. l• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.& B, }$ ]) \8 O, \" H, W1 f1 y
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.4 l6 q! e) Z) J" s! \- Q
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.: `6 K! P! _% F5 G% u1 u
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.9 O* m/ H, |" q
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

a. q- ^: D) q8 ]& \2 w" B• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. 0 F; |1 ^- z }
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. / {& e) d4 E* A( M
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 6 p( M# x$ K. S0 n& B
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
: H: Q3 F3 W+ i6 E% ]$ Q• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.0 l& u! Y. t: l+ l' y, H/ t7 A, A. \
