Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

3 Q8 b! I$ b# L' |* uMajor Responsibilities:
' d1 e4 v, o- j6 p. Z# g• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
- M1 v; l2 Y0 I+ h4 i• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.4 Q4 J: J% h/ T7 t0 v4 h7 @0 Z( R
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. * P: @0 J& }2 ^* P/ l' K% ~% @6 i
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.2 h3 ]# n, ^ ~; k# Y' m5 r
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.8 k- ?' d9 @3 \, F4 G
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
1 j0 o5 M+ z5 ]3 m• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
* {" s; {, a" O: G• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.9 q, R P1 V/ g; J. `" x
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.& F0 m% z+ D. v) d1 Q
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
$ R% r/ \0 j- K& |/ `• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.5 D7 v* V. m2 _/ m
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.$ S# L1 N' V9 W* k8 i8 U. @$ J
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
# b! L. T/ x i# _" ^& @2 ~% s• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ' P) F3 t- X' E$ v7 m! S S
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. % F: v6 r- F1 i0 C. l" \. z+ W
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
1 C6 P& e P9 k+ @2 z& n• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
' R1 c+ A7 p+ p* \3 V- R1 J; `• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

" }8 e5 M* P4 O# V7 {• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
