Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2! N1 B( i) O2 U4 k! a1 V7 l
Location: Calgary and Vancouver- C1 W- l( w0 Y; l
Reports to: National Sales Manager# r+ w8 G5 P- h. S4 N+ Z* p

Major Responsibilities: / x9 l' o/ C0 g5 B1 C( A& k' ^) _, r
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.5 L. J1 p- h& S, h! M4 P4 j
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
/ O3 m7 e) T& S9 f! c0 {6 q: R• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
7 j' M9 e; a1 z• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office., |6 f; h/ O9 ?* J! h8 V
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.4 b7 D1 @3 s* o; l2 P0 L( K: F" f6 O
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
( X! l* |* g8 o( s• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
! d p I, F4 h& c2 u7 y, V7 z• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
, A! f4 Z8 }; w+ c( f- }" d5 A7 e• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 I+ @3 \ v/ M
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
7 {; F8 `# Z2 l* g9 }" J• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
0 e0 V4 w! S' E/ R9 X• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
# _7 r3 d, P( V a• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
; e. u- Y/ |6 ]. T! W• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
2 k3 @! G' {" O/ \' Z1 @• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
[- _: o4 N1 x1 F3 J• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
" T1 c! n( i0 s- ?1 |+ Q5 D7 l• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
. b& u [: Y/ ?5 }, w& T* @3 h• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. , G$ m" _% E( f# _& H. f
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential7 Y. O6 f _6 U* S( o; W+ k" R/ Q
• Not scared of heights( v* `7 n! Q, k* r' {! X
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other: d' B( R9 L. f, ?/ y# J! u
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
