Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: ; v8 V+ b$ d1 A2 l7 o
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.& X7 U, d; B* n
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 M& H2 X1 }& T0 J
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
7 _5 H) G/ c. ?4 B5 R4 I• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
* ]& |9 I4 n4 I) a; i/ Z. z$ X9 ]• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas. W& w5 k( s# L4 ?2 a
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
$ Z; N$ F! ^/ Z/ c* C! d• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.; f+ d# g+ ^+ Z, a
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
6 R7 w" |( p/ v* V• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
9 \7 e! N1 M( c, ~& y• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
8 m1 S p" o, a/ J6 Q" G• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.( ~& e9 k5 K$ {+ ?) b

5 B' F: W2 t; j; ?5 kQualifications:
, `- H8 q, x8 V5 \$ n• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 0 c* _2 O8 M) y: _- h* q+ ^5 q
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 8 \( H+ P- G( R$ y6 x
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ; P v$ ~* u4 E! T# t3 n
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
7 _* J6 Q5 k$ ?: Z2 f• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential! l/ W6 D( \7 s3 h) z* i" z) F+ X
• Not scared of heights
$ J5 d( A8 Y* \• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
' s9 L: c. e/ Y8 R; M4 ~• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
