Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: % \2 _) v! g- N$ i  L
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ e0 b* b0 q5 B. E2 q. ]3 }8 N•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.; _! L7 A3 O) W
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
0 ~/ W# |0 f$ |" a( K•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.& w4 Q. R" a4 B/ p6 u0 ]  C% {  a
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.; h* Z+ z0 E6 g  D1 F- K5 n
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
+ i- @8 B9 B0 b0 C' z: C0 [•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.3 y! I, M( D0 Z3 }7 E7 L
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.8 J7 n4 M! Z) H7 ~; \
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
& @# x6 O- }: P. I$ ^# K7 e•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.

•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.+ R6 ~% w) \2 \) Z$ F
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
! ]( X0 B, z7 f* ~•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ; l$ v/ C! H5 L
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
; @" ^. e1 R, Y" I* ]5 I0 \•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
- c& @& {. Z* j+ _4 z•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
0 P9 S% l+ l; E4 J•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
