Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.5 E& r _. a3 o0 `( @$ s6 D
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
& Q' |4 Z. J6 I% R2 y• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. / |0 C; F. ~( g/ p
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
% X, l/ f0 I( Q7 S0 X5 H% ~( t• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.; E2 q) P3 E% }
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
' K8 p% J& H* X! B2 K0 v• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
: ^& |! v( D/ T- U+ H# I• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
* k1 c0 h- o4 X7 K" s• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy., s, k: n2 F5 h
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.& l& J6 R" G2 b, H# K( a
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
" N) J* x2 R$ @+ p& N' C) b• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ' ?4 q* O: V/ z4 _/ i9 O
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential3 ? {5 Q6 z' U. c5 E, ]) `+ l
