Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant
# D$ v9 o& L4 V! J2 {7 MLocation:        Edmonton' k+ R( B0 y- I$ g' C
Reports to:        National Sales Manager& M% J( T# d4 B' o% |8 `6 S
: J: [8 Y0 Z: D6 }" a( h

Major Responsibilities: 3 f$ R0 o& M4 ^3 `% t4 c
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
/ l& K8 r# o1 C* _" M4 N•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 a7 L) g  k' T8 ~4 K•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
* Y$ z8 o, e% i) H* d7 X0 Q•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.0 f, L; V$ d. y8 h& _# v
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.7 x. w$ |. X* v5 k) C
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.7 h2 ~/ n3 x* u; U' y7 @! m( T; M
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
; c% W* W$ o1 u. u! J•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
; P/ _3 O  R+ S•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools./ B( [8 k3 B' m! P2 {, o% ?
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
# b! b; V7 U$ \( `- N•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
8 _1 M+ i$ K9 m3 L. `* x4 {•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
2 q3 L2 Z. N4 u: _5 p•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:* ~( ?0 o$ U1 R# r/ q. i
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ( V" I! `  x8 ]- J" ?; E
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
2 A& P# A9 j3 g, Q+ a. t2 Y2 F3 j•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. + |0 U! Z; W) U( c+ }
