Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
8 \, C& [5 z: P& Z•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.% I# @. i7 B& X2 \+ Q4 \
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
) c' r6 s' @' {! E) V$ O•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
9 j# \4 U  T9 e; G6 F& w•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
9 O- V8 }0 g2 ?* b3 [0 e' l5 @7 D7 c•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
# h9 }6 a  r+ R2 ~) a: I: L( r/ f•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area., B4 m5 }: a5 n6 r! p3 V
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.$ k7 c4 D6 C% ^
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
8 a. O5 |! n& A8 h# u+ N2 t•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.; d  }" O2 \" M+ U) L/ ]( w  W
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
8 E& b5 F. i1 q  \7 E- c9 ^•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
( P2 l1 L6 b- x7 `•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes." w; b4 R+ K  s. r3 V3 t% |
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. % o! A2 |5 F; p; @9 s
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
