Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: / y) ~4 \ [) D. \' C
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.& v3 i9 _# c, h6 ? o! Q2 K9 O1 I
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
. p4 P" c! p h• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
" q8 a/ V9 N$ W4 N0 A. L: _• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.! i2 a' `" k2 q- G5 _
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
$ {* i1 q) A9 U' R- W2 y• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
/ S7 U# Q5 o" N7 k4 h; ~8 z/ W+ k• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.# w! C# F% t# z! m
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.9 q. J" ~$ E$ I, O
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.6 z; o+ }2 K. _" j: U5 ~& X
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes./ c& B, S" ^" b* R$ ]
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

" r" }$ k* M f1 F$ y• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
1 A2 F) f6 s/ K- h: B. }• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. / c+ \7 t2 F$ ~5 G W
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. $ `' y: l& Q+ h8 l
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- q( R8 W) l8 D. u• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
