Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

. C7 _$ Q. z4 s/ B M, @% tMajor Responsibilities:
( `+ U9 D% y* S5 a& _# r• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
9 s; P8 n- T1 T( K) S# R• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
% E8 J+ H$ Q. l& ^• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 0 U. V5 F- u i6 G3 l* ]3 V
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
$ K" d5 \6 I; ? M2 q" j0 X% i• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.3 s8 G O8 E: V( z! {9 ?! X- g
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
. c) A3 H" n E) a• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
! \% G; f5 h9 T' T• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
( s$ D. m6 m7 R& }1 {6 r3 p• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
+ U/ L. x2 W; T4 q2 L z• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
$ K% J+ N; w1 t2 F• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 \& V, \% m. h6 e3 K+ {+ }1 A• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes., H& M4 B) y- V; u/ |8 }8 p
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:' v' q' B& f% D: Z! r b3 T, s) [
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
8 N/ c; v" {4 o; U; A4 z• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
0 B6 b6 n' Z m4 \7 q% K7 d& ?• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
, Q( r5 T" C* X: L" y• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. " i7 M- {/ V/ `$ ~/ r
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other9 |3 [+ r2 Q3 c9 Z( y
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 4 A3 b9 D' z8 c* A# x& N
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
