Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 8 H. Q- ^) H3 j* N6 d* t3 f8 {& U7 L: L
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
0 H) M, C8 q0 a. g# z1 u" P•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.& ^: `  x$ f6 S6 z' E& [! r) F
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  ' ~% U9 t" A9 w9 {( }$ F3 o
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
$ K& l2 @+ b9 D3 \' t$ p•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! b- a3 A9 `: N9 G1 b
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.. ?# U6 D7 o: R4 @
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.: U& o8 A# j7 S
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
  N  d) v. F8 |  f4 j9 W•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
( L0 c, V6 ^, _( E3 @7 C•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
& L; ]4 V3 U% {( K$ f4 n( a4 {& y3 e•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.! A& B( L- ~7 w$ c6 `1 u) l  L
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

. r4 ^7 v9 M' r1 ]/ B•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ) ]8 `( t4 _$ k- Y/ S+ d5 I: C7 ^
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
0 m4 f0 w9 ?, |' D. ~•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
) M& v( K4 {- ~2 d3 D& y: K$ U/ o•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 4 u. U7 E6 m. W/ s
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential; w( S, e& u) }' H& M! M  \+ q

•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other1 @, E, i% b# {- J- C
