Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:   ^  s- L: Z" s/ R5 a
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.) ^% g. w3 n, n( d& W, i$ k
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
# J8 j% q7 a+ \* w6 E( |•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  ( R# T9 h# z4 M- q6 C; U. m
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
% D+ Z4 L5 i* |8 a  P0 \# Z•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
2 h. p$ s  Y! u2 S. D$ ]9 [& `' J•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
5 I6 W  n1 }9 D5 ]•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

+ Y7 Z# ]  {0 W$ E( G& l3 D•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

7 o; K% m$ |6 G3 Z0 i& G•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
! w! F* m) f* ]8 A•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.) j, V: B% r, A8 m; z9 `9 }; F! x
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

2 ^* u0 ?. M, L•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. * b% j; `8 {% {: J
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 2 p  L$ ^/ H. x2 e' R% V7 O3 V
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
