Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
' M4 D& y3 b8 }2 P/ y•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.& n' \: D( K4 F
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.) ^) D; W& e' Q
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
4 P1 h* Z. s' t* h7 I•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
9 ^2 ?0 X( T2 p/ z# k0 x8 f•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.4 t0 t/ p; g9 E) \4 w3 I4 _
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.0 F( d2 J! L' u' D. y0 _
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.0 {% N3 t3 ]5 p/ u
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

' ]( G/ K: O7 h) H+ I. [•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. & `, d9 d* t4 H/ e
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 6 R) Z$ K. M- V. L) z& @: v- L
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential2 X- B- j6 A; v6 w  f) H+ c1 [
