Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 2 ]- X G. r. U8 N: }+ U- ?
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
7 ]' B, O2 t5 P4 i6 o9 s• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
6 L7 W) w7 v/ M3 N) g; q• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 4 X; `3 ]* `- {* q5 n0 B# T
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.9 b8 z3 b; ^6 L+ c2 m5 G4 @* H0 v" D
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
; U2 w% `$ o, B4 W' t+ L• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
5 H* v9 N& e+ O% `• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
7 F% f- _+ I% G• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.+ |( `3 N& ?! S7 Z
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
/ V3 |" k2 O1 M. j• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
( B4 q- V( J7 j: O• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
# _4 M# Y/ O+ `1 W- X5 M4 o( i7 P+ A• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.* Z9 `! ?% q( ?1 \
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 1 h# b; J" H; f9 A+ k' U
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
3 X. y E/ G9 K; w1 p; U, U c• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
6 I. a& Q3 o6 c- C• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ; M1 }% p/ ?1 o( ? U. K- T1 S* W
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
