Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 26 y% W5 [$ l7 ~) {, ?# H/ w8 J
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities:
, u$ ?5 ^3 r. \+ O1 _/ N1 L• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.6 \) n( Y+ a3 r0 `3 F; y
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.. {2 w+ y5 R. W0 j4 {
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
4 I% S: l$ ]/ h( | ~2 ~+ F% x4 n5 y• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.' r, P/ ~/ G0 g5 u, _6 Y6 W- [7 E
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
& k+ Z0 A0 c& v• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
! {) E2 @+ g0 O3 E% }: z, e: B• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.5 j, W$ Z1 Q& t P. |# h$ ~: l
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
/ g5 K* z- Z8 M/ `• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.8 o6 e& P1 z$ \3 Y! ^
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.0 t+ u Y$ g: w+ g5 z! _; B0 _/ b
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.4 F; Q& D% b8 X' B& o) x4 d
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
0 l% ~7 U( I- g3 p$ u* |• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
3 `7 q- k& ?/ F& K, W• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 0 O9 S$ b' ^1 z' Q
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
9 M+ K3 P4 D8 s• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
* U* j _5 [4 X! W- ]$ p• Not scared of heights
' m# @ s9 c t& p• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
8 P% f! k- `6 g* a• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ; ~' K& }+ Z% ^- \( t4 j
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.! T( E; s: _, {8 b4 x" u
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
