Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

$ z. g2 `" A) S( V- |Major Responsibilities:
0 J+ ~; D" O$ ~* [) k R8 T; S• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.: v6 L" y6 H$ G$ E9 X0 r9 y5 I/ `2 I
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 p# O+ G) K# Z
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 3 r' W# k2 T4 N9 t6 \
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
; ~* ^8 k" M; `$ p• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
6 p4 Y3 G8 _! G$ m$ W+ r, c• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
% ? k0 P* L" c+ j$ v; C( G+ g0 r• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.3 E/ T/ s- k: N- t- r
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.# `) b# E; \" X$ F6 t" f' Y0 \
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.' v3 |* ?5 F. @8 ?
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
# L0 A( P! `5 E5 Z j. m/ K/ M• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy., |; k. t7 \1 @" {( w
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.; d! \: ~: b/ g2 g p
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

+ { _, X0 H1 N5 y( V• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. $ D4 z3 O+ M' E2 i2 ^
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ; w; U$ I4 v% y: h) R9 Z4 v
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. " f+ `% G* c* L, m
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. " W2 v7 O1 l' ~8 l/ G
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
