$ V, R* H; v; ^; A# ]Major Responsibilities:
& Y& A y; o, s. J• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.: R4 ~( a2 d6 [
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.8 O& g( F: ^5 |& T6 e) ~
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
# E& F# X. }, Q! q$ U1 s" P: B( j• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
( o7 M% t5 s5 h+ g4 H. @• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
) e( E2 e- X- Y: {( f& Q( ]2 o• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.8 o0 p4 f& f: z# r
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.; f0 U% e" P$ v7 [0 i
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.- }5 x% ~" v, q4 P7 w, w% q! d1 d
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.6 u' L. I$ f) O$ P. q+ v
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.2 M) d) R* {. @) h2 j- g e
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.( h1 Q |! P! s4 j+ G- @$ L6 I
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.$ |, j5 M2 h! s @. A0 C G- _
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.- {& Y+ q# ^+ e' t& O
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.6 v& W# j( h/ x6 x

Qualifications:
( ~5 s* d1 `* N9 T' i' m• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 7 b3 P, m6 k: t( v8 Y' w% n6 K) R, ~
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
# G, ^. L! ?2 _8 k4 G# K• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 1 K8 U. N5 ^' n% q
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 2 F; d( W! x. l
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential$ p6 u( u8 E/ R
• Not scared of heights
) z7 J6 T0 A' ]• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other4 f9 h; R4 t# _$ ^% W
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
