Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
. E$ W7 M- S. N( u2 h& [9 J; D• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.0 j) E$ ?! A" Q( C
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.( C& i K; F& I. M
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
9 @) E8 q: @. W• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.3 [# _! N" j s, d% K0 o+ P
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
2 q/ E& ~$ y% h2 Y' ~, y• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
* v1 i9 | @" r• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas." z6 n+ J8 ~0 T* Y3 q
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
" b9 |- b. z7 {8 Q3 H! [, R2 X• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
; n( L: C+ u4 O) I. E, x• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
+ i* q& M8 |. m4 d7 i+ @+ Y• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
$ ~' A# @! _: ?0 M3 ]• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
: B: G/ w3 U* O R• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
% V! E+ N, Z1 k f) _8 [/ J0 r5 _• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
2 K1 M% H8 l( r6 ^3 T4 b6 i1 r• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 0 O i3 ?6 R) c+ t+ k
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 7 |" [; W* d8 ]( _. f( a) O
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
% i @% K" T6 e; Y• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. & j& T# J/ r7 \, f( d
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
# c% B1 g" ~8 J; n3 G• Not scared of heights
: M0 R6 n- J( F; d9 D• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other$ z4 T! \* `8 l6 T/ s6 w4 O
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 2 A, V4 Y' [% C# S; q
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
