Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 28 [- x) a4 N' P* B0 J9 u
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities:
, T2 t' F6 V$ B4 J( J o• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
0 z, k* ~8 {4 x% e6 @, p6 K• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
2 O+ J! H, u9 |3 X8 i5 G5 E! R3 r0 u• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. $ [+ s! v2 W& m/ ?- y6 ^
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
( J$ C Z* j0 d! Q; S: S$ i7 R• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
, _! ]9 L3 G6 I. i• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area. p3 z# o$ s( g! R# B" |+ Y9 W* T
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.# ~/ v6 a+ a9 s" v/ o
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
5 m ^8 l1 J, V. y% \ ]• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.# c! @# X1 _+ R
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
. a" @( w# D. y7 q v0 E• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.3 I2 [- {8 i" q. G/ k q! p) [$ P
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
% ^( m* R* v- x5 I) t' z9 ^• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.4 _* _& _' G) b
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
D& F+ S& D# {" K& [) e; `• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. ' L- Y/ y" H" V4 b$ c; c: q
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. $ d( N$ F# \6 T. M- _4 r x% A: b
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
& L" @/ o I' Q% {, ^5 Z• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
/ i9 T/ O( R: t9 A9 [• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

5 B# f* ?# B& v2 c H; I; T• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other/ @# \: k% ~" I* Q5 z

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
