Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.# |7 {9 A/ N; @: H4 M
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
; s6 h, A8 F# U% o1 h•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  0 }+ ]' S5 n4 p. i4 y9 e( u1 f
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.

•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
: C  m5 x4 M0 e: a•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

Qualifications:
2 c. H) U: `7 O/ R6 {•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.   |2 Z- _! f& G5 w+ K0 D
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. / u7 Z6 `6 l  A. V
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 0 X! }- [3 Z8 d' G2 M
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
