Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant: V/ n7 _+ j7 b! u
Location:        Edmonton, H6 n2 T$ _4 L9 C2 b& Z+ ^
Reports to:        National Sales Manager

% k1 G& N0 y. }( Q4 oMajor Responsibilities: ! ~+ Y9 e' \# f5 M7 O
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.4 k! ~. p; G4 @! G8 V
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.5 I* i7 k( S* C) N/ \. _. r" P
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  + [( D  z" J5 Q
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
' O2 @6 ^0 @6 j  t; v2 v# P•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.2 @9 Q( U$ @6 F% ]( d) O4 Q5 M; k  ~
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
  ~% n( v6 S+ o; D7 a9 {•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

) v2 O! r7 x  @9 g7 s  }  S. g•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.- k1 C) A4 q3 e6 o1 J& j% J/ q
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.; H4 w3 K; ]& E) ~
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.' l8 u# Q* s# A

Qualifications:
- I, W8 p" V/ h! i: j6 n•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 0 b9 V" ?5 _8 F! ?- T7 `: Z3 Z
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 9 E2 Y1 i( U$ h) B
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 3 K3 X' i2 u( x( J& s1 w* E% ~
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
4 d6 Y7 p& Q; ?* y5 n: w•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
