Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
0 a6 F1 W" }5 S. i•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
$ P( ?6 j& R* |2 D; c8 \2 o5 N•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
0 O5 o5 d, P# Y7 ^+ D•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
: F, ^- w9 u3 h3 ]' |; T! l7 ~3 |•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.2 B3 k! W, p# z, L9 n( N' W  Y( @
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.6 f& x1 }8 c3 g& ?, v
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.$ K' p( z: t: N4 C
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.2 s2 Z! M# b" X
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.( {. f' a; J! K; |
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ! v0 }+ T6 H5 l0 N. X' J0 M
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
" ^8 K# w0 ]4 ?$ ?  ^7 K) L/ I- [. E/ C•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
