Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
! X& D0 E6 R. i( [: U! C• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations./ T8 x; X, P5 y" |( e
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.2 \! Z* I4 V% _; C- i4 a9 u
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
# ?5 p! n2 k2 m# a• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office., N$ B$ _" V& O3 h9 A6 L
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis./ D' t: |4 ?) }$ E: w9 f
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.: }- O" v4 [- Y, L6 ]$ i- e9 h
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas./ j$ ~2 L i, m+ N9 e
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
$ h# g( l& z0 T! C0 C1 b' I• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
8 j5 W6 `: k$ [" n. n( c• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
6 x( v. m/ q1 M) r• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.. h1 u" t0 N2 ~
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

% e! {) m5 o7 ]+ f3 d4 Y• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
7 e2 C, j% }/ D1 X• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
0 t: s- z% l$ P' R# |• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. |% Z m$ n6 X
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.3 |- p/ v# [* b: Z
