Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
2 s. b7 E1 j: R0 V• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
, d7 o. Y# V, {, [7 p2 d• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
' a. ~# |# B* V• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 9 P, S% f; ?0 h9 s3 U( R3 g/ y- [5 Y" h
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
, Y. k8 \4 a! v1 E4 r9 V• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.0 P( M3 `! q9 S
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.% O- d- _; L+ Q" O
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.& w# ~! i- y1 Z) {3 ]9 V3 D
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.6 m7 m* |9 W6 l, p
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
0 B9 U, F- }8 I3 x• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
: x- U0 s1 e7 P# ]! ?• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.9 m7 F- P8 n, H' S
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. . d- S9 z7 ]! |3 e/ S
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( m( a0 H6 `4 [9 P/ L5 F( M• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. / Y5 c/ ^8 N8 o. w9 I6 v
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
( w2 V. b& l3 \- R$ v0 K• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
z* o) R, W* w% q• Not scared of heights

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
