Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

7 Q* Y' q+ g. `+ w- U0 a' ?: Z- tMajor Responsibilities:
, g9 L! A# G6 s2 B+ b5 t) z0 F, w•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.& F5 q( V6 T: q8 `/ m
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
. k- [3 T+ L5 r5 \& k) @•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
1 o/ H$ A1 Q' f( L+ K/ _8 d! L•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.. q! y) N; g- f; [" s
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
. \! @1 X4 A' B•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
( d' ]' h5 n4 H' t- _- G•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.% M7 u# D8 X3 }7 `+ G: p
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
) B$ b: _3 @: h$ c3 |- }2 E•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.( n$ v7 Q9 O# O, l  P
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
, M  q9 \  z; q0 j( G. e' n•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.1 I6 e5 W* ~% _+ D  Q' h5 d
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.6 G' |+ D) P' t% k; W+ a& H
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.- Y* U$ y  v- u, R
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:6 o+ N; S/ T$ I
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
6 o& i8 n$ s' W% W$ D" C' S, p•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
7 {  N# w$ p5 T/ g. U/ r* ^•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. $ e. h. n7 Y; V; u0 o+ w6 B
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
* D8 o3 {! n/ d* c# I•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
