Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

& G" [& P2 o" [ d' GMajor Responsibilities:
; C4 @+ O$ n6 X4 |• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
/ y. @& P9 e8 ~- B• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.$ m0 v4 z f: y1 G/ O5 v
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ( y# }2 r, e! Q2 m; X
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office. Y" ~0 C/ f# h) v- }" ?* j' t
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
' E1 @: S2 G, W5 B• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.8 _6 R s: `9 G
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.7 i8 w5 x3 D" P' \
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
3 e+ l" b% E, C9 Q, c• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
" l: M! `8 a4 U& Q• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.2 ]& l9 ]5 N- @0 Q- |* a
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy. d5 |" x' o* i0 z' c$ D
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes., {9 `: p" u D0 Q
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
) L; w4 g2 V3 h6 c• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

5 G) s+ g K( W! U2 \/ D$ ~Qualifications:# h# G9 D$ [1 Z# x7 @2 m8 n9 t \8 K' S
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
( `5 ~, G* j3 B+ O. k. w) P• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
. S) b; M3 j& q$ A• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
) j& `: V. w7 B, j2 o6 ]1 B• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; G" _* @+ P' ?& s: c• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
; m! L& v1 C( W) s• Not scared of heights
5 X, Q! S: m- D% `; y4 j+ p" A• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other) j! ]- a1 s; e% ?5 v( r) z
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
