Location: Edmonton

+ C( I; L. l: |Major Responsibilities:
; ?3 D, m, J1 m S/ v% p3 x• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations./ a G3 d' e0 M( M5 W9 Y2 F/ Q
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.* m2 U4 t6 F0 g# o$ |+ a
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
+ [/ W: a; r0 E3 g# Y/ ]• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.+ Z+ @# V- ~2 w3 K$ r- V& m6 L
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.. E. d( A' W( k, O
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
' ]4 |) F2 t: G! P8 f- a+ u& p• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.7 \9 n4 O, N: y% `. n y& r
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
# I# [2 `$ Q& L/ l6 a/ _2 ?• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.6 W) u( o: E2 E- p2 N9 w9 l. F r4 Y3 C
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
- M: c8 P3 O8 o3 {$ r% D* M/ y• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

9 q& \3 L+ L, L• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 7 Y' ^6 @- G" \, p
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 2 c: l! y5 z7 R6 Q0 _: Y2 h8 I
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ( O+ [8 q s& J- H8 u. {9 B; j/ V
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
h+ @( r4 D% P. S6 L x• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other, R' `0 ?; @9 ?4 s
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
