Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
: |# h5 o1 j" N# u5 _0 [1 V; j! Y( F•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory." g; }4 a& ^+ Q+ _
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  / K/ n7 S* E. s3 H- p9 c- j4 i2 c1 r0 T
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.

•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.1 g2 j! |( w1 }! T& n
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.- p( j3 F: P+ A- C1 L, H) r
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.  L- L6 J$ u! c$ p
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.( p2 l9 ~9 P* S' x! ]$ q' ?
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
% B6 w6 n. z+ G6 r0 ?•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.9 l& T1 p' M( w
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.4 Z% e' o8 R- M
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.! j! N2 L. ~* E) ^" `
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
6 p% ~+ j' p& f•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
5 G9 ^( B9 i/ o6 A% @  p3 o% H& [1 l•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
2 u& l( p( |1 b, }•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ) g. S% R" S8 F) s* R7 P- `! C
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
9 y1 ?8 ?5 q$ T& B8 [•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
