Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
3 e. K) t+ J! z+ u$ E( b; m•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.9 S" t' V( W/ g' ^
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
; }  g* c% q6 V& v6 ^* x•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
; \% w+ ^6 O: u0 S0 v. t) C4 w' J•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.) {! h$ V9 O) o: a( q
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
5 v$ K6 ^# C. d2 D7 P•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
: {) _9 Y2 d7 y•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
8 _2 j9 M8 y* h( A# f) B, w# B•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
$ W4 s6 _/ f* H•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.' P# U/ L4 M  O) v' _) s
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
/ q- c! }  B3 O6 Z( J5 {•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
* h5 a: n) I. E5 h* N. P/ x•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
$ q- k/ f- a* w( x- i9 {•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:' z5 p' R$ L% f# V- A
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.   ~1 T5 C* u' u2 \
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
% |8 }2 j0 h+ P0 N•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
, @. o9 j/ T# w* X•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 1 R" p4 g  }" z
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
