Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 28 W# g$ S* R( j; r3 U
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
$ \, g/ ^9 [, }• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.: c3 s$ d. R' Y/ r. u$ ^! G
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 5 L7 Y' P$ y. C Z% v) C
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
% I( e9 F0 ?" F0 {. v; u+ g• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.) d0 |5 y- n1 V1 J! X
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.* m6 W0 G) T# U/ _+ x+ [) a: @
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.9 f, L7 @1 V- O) M) E4 v
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
( Z- W2 k$ \' _- j. h• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
* f. G! t& W* R/ S7 } o• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. ; t- k# E4 w% D m! _
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
, P0 ?% i5 O4 w' b: t4 i• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential: _& H; v, W1 C- J* t

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
