Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
& a7 Q3 X8 B4 Z: i. a• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.! ~2 o: [, m6 K& y9 p4 o
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
3 g( _/ u3 ^* E$ r) _1 Q, q• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
* f/ w6 A8 m! i$ M8 r• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office. X/ \/ V& @1 d& M8 v& o& C
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
, h. v8 x# S, X+ N* I0 K• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.) }" n' f9 v7 R0 i# C# F
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.6 A6 m4 C2 @+ P. _9 c
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
. S; J$ ^9 Y$ t6 s6 p+ b, u• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
7 [; K+ Y& O7 @• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.2 f7 B; o1 \) P( B1 `" g5 r1 P# [
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
( B! M$ T6 i) r8 \9 w8 \• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
2 }5 k8 W4 p2 h2 _ r• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
: c) V1 |. N( m7 |# _" G% c• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential7 P% \# m7 i+ Q* O" }/ x, {
• Not scared of heights

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.; f( b- d( Z/ c9 }
