Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
2 c% r& {; R( N# S% i. D) ]5 d•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations./ d8 \' A& j/ f$ U3 D7 R3 i
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
7 {: ]( n7 o# S6 U) Z•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  5 f/ k0 L$ N# j4 [: d
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
; B+ J" r) H5 T7 p! h•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis., j# N' W) j  K/ N" B6 x& `7 [
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
+ m, q7 W9 n8 I9 ]! Z2 Z/ E+ w•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
( J& h% t8 J+ P  T3 W•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.+ K- Y$ w3 [' i/ A
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.& h+ v" z, O. E! M
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
* x% I% d& l% V0 G•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
" G3 O$ z. w! i0 }•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
! b" U7 F: o* p- F•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.1 s7 J& A' K# m% [9 F4 h& n
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

, I' H0 {3 o# D' Q7 O•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
