Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

! R6 C9 R6 V. u& sMajor Responsibilities:
0 ~7 k. v$ P8 @& K6 m* A; a& i \• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.7 q9 W* N1 U* B: z! O- X, D
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 D& T. @7 O6 I) l4 d
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
: E0 W( Z- e$ l8 D$ m• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
; r b K) T6 i• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
8 g. F! f# j4 f# |7 ~! C m1 I• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
" q H$ T4 r" f" T# U• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.: ]) l* N7 g! K: k( Q9 R
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
7 [6 z$ z, d6 h0 l! T' Q1 Z• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
; n$ O7 {+ h! T# q• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.4 S: m8 K- S- m, j5 G( Q, Y, Y, w
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
. I; q! Y& W: y+ n2 I) ]6 f4 ~& p• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications:
* S; U9 W0 G5 p1 W• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. + b4 H! Z, H8 |" ~
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
/ U6 e: H; L! A, l" y a• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential9 L+ q8 [3 l `* w
• Not scared of heights' }2 I9 D: D7 G
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
