Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant( ]1 V6 D2 X# m$ ]
Location:        Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: 3 L* q/ d2 J" g% V1 B! J
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.8 ?7 @- T" ~5 Q% h! g6 v7 W
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
# m4 I$ u$ R* J. E- o1 `•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  $ O: k- {  ]& o7 g# [( E
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.3 l2 I8 E- D, `& S
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
8 V& E! d- b* R; _! d( o; Q6 r•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
" \0 ?2 g% U1 M! j/ r# R: D•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ r5 D& m4 k2 `* ]) p. d: I•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
/ J8 q* ^& z6 O2 l; o•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.: F( d5 V! a& e' n( [+ N
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
2 T" R# |; Z; T9 u- {1 ?•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
. I7 D3 ~0 W8 X) z) X6 N. e# J•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.' l& g- N0 a  }
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
; m- }7 U$ @+ ]( G. C4 s  q+ s•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
* I/ r0 L# o0 A% T$ g& H•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
5 c( f# G0 l+ W+ {! k•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. % U" E6 `* \8 j' Z5 A
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

% A, j8 w5 J8 Q, E8 }•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other0 X6 Q  @/ w1 B( M4 N. W
