Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant+ {& H  F/ N8 A$ \; n* _

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: ' t6 J5 h9 M1 |1 D
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., L9 h, S0 e) R6 ~& y4 U
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.) r; O) C* j% l' g$ P
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  9 |' s5 a7 q( Z& j8 m2 ]! {+ b' c6 j4 ^
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
: s8 ]3 ^# I$ g( `•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.& t! I2 A, s5 b
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
# L/ e( _( D; M•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
2 L" f; D. r! ~9 F•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
3 Z7 W  H5 c+ |  h$ J•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.8 ^1 C2 I0 c* b- L! u
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
