Major Responsibilities: 3 |/ z# I; H) H
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.7 n  t0 E  n  I- }7 [# x$ H0 U
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.( {- C: r7 T8 z/ \  s
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
- n1 w$ Z" p" e/ d2 W•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.. ?; J1 ?7 ?' G" t/ Y* M- ?+ j6 m
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.% w2 R0 c7 o, a3 h$ b* I
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.1 e- a, z. n" t
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.. X2 d* v: }1 w! y2 \+ k8 q
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., a5 G/ ^, _4 Q3 d
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.0 m. M2 e; w/ E
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.* w4 V1 w5 n) O6 ^! C( D
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
; L- E/ M4 Y) h  d6 ?4 I7 _: x! i•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.0 p- c4 I" Y1 L4 l5 Q7 d
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.+ a, e% W; v3 g2 c
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:- b! }/ A; b$ k! l
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
- ]- D! s, s+ S8 |1 V•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 s6 k' d% L1 C( y1 R7 |•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 3 }3 F& {2 ~* v
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
