Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
, N+ t2 u8 w9 y n• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.' J) J( c: h# X' H
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory., C3 e7 ^# T! {1 m
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. $ O0 F1 h/ F* a. D; l& G
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.- N1 c& F- G2 h1 M$ g
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis./ z7 S; `) q; g1 j& J
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
# P. G. m/ p; v5 J• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas., Y1 z2 y, H$ b# y
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.0 w% Y0 r i! x" |7 u: ]
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
0 @! S, \0 K5 \7 [% B# X• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
2 {7 u% V7 s3 S9 ~7 ~, D8 K. w• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
" c5 q+ y3 S$ t6 l# N• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
2 _. I& n4 ^# g' C4 G% F• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

* L4 y% z) W1 C# ]0 ^+ k5 S• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
9 Y j* i/ A; X• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
0 O: N! t' ?, D4 w7 c• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
n ]8 f/ Y" o$ _ E( G/ @• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
2 f+ R; m1 o) n: I0 i9 Z- S4 L0 |8 O• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential! T" h* Z3 l" d( s$ U& {: [
• Not scared of heights9 b" X% i! _5 Q* G* S/ z$ r
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
$ w' p, V1 L& |' G( A7 N# I• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ' b) P( H6 ]8 E# E6 r1 Y
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.4 z2 q& }8 u- ]8 o! M# _7 a
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
