Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant/ l' {1 s+ B2 a9 t4 d
Location: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities:
+ z# L/ M5 y M" u/ H• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
/ Z: p3 n: m/ S) b9 _- U; X• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
' r: z: E0 f: p3 j! `* l8 X1 }• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
0 K' J) K4 ?0 v% x7 u0 W• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
) {( m, ^# z5 p2 b( ^# _• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
! k5 i& i9 P& e4 g T# T• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
4 k* Q* }6 Z# k3 W9 k" }2 u• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
4 Q* D' U$ r' S+ v( b$ A! ~• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.5 H- e7 S: t) K! p
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.; H" p' R8 _+ h, q5 B5 A1 _+ B
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
7 [& d) ]6 i( f8 q- Y. o6 m0 g• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.' |7 W- B) w+ b1 [% z9 c
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
! f, L; [; _& m, b- n0 d- Z. U• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.% I$ ]& d3 j' T" u
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
% P" \. M' J$ ~6 ^6 W• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
# ~ ~6 y- j/ E1 v g3 {• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ; R/ I( t/ e0 }8 |: C$ K
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 9 R5 |- ?# e" w8 z
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 9 y" Y1 L# s& J2 k$ o
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
( W# |, x! _1 K/ b$ i• Not scared of heights

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. & |" t- r, T! `$ T6 ]; J
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
