Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant# T1 x+ K0 |) D; e; V# A3 w3 s5 c

* ? V. ?+ X G t) |3 t& t% @& P3 K( bMajor Responsibilities:
$ v5 q& A2 ]/ ?' q& p• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
7 R8 `$ {; \: ]% M$ ^; ~• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.5 ^$ z Z2 f2 Q
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
3 x1 y/ b+ M/ W% d; i9 s. X' c• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.$ d, u) k6 a0 g R9 s) S) i
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
8 P9 v7 F" b% O# e* O' [& {( x• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
8 Y+ W" ] z# ^% Z• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
: Q" T$ y6 V4 u/ N5 l• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.1 ^8 q* i6 x, `: f2 z4 g( u$ b2 ]
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.$ Y2 L; P X7 R, e1 k* ?
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.3 ?% Z! _3 R$ d% y7 q5 P& [) c' K; o
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.- N. ^! X0 p; G- W
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications:
$ W' j9 c+ K! [$ {) b• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. - r1 b- ~. m1 A
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ' c6 L1 T1 r6 P, @+ i( o; |
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 7 ~$ z8 F Z2 {7 r
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
$ d; A% K6 P7 ^# ^• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
5 a8 s- g2 T/ V) F- Z• Not scared of heights' v: B" K$ I0 t+ M& a2 R
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
2 m. c+ R7 t; b' b• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
T* X/ z; w* J• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
