' P1 Z) |! B. G" |# k0 ~Major Responsibilities:
" ?- ?% h1 F- {* c* J/ N1 p, T% g• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.% A& ~: Y' ]+ w7 F, v8 E
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.9 L$ D) u* ?6 p5 @& n- a& ^
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. * i' I+ }1 `5 J
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.: N" @, X. _! {2 ]8 x; @+ C5 q
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
+ h4 z* O& x$ C6 j7 T8 T1 S* P• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.. i# {% O l1 |& l* A1 D* k: T7 k
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.( s# Z: ~8 v& N# x' q( s$ A
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
" @9 [$ U- m7 e3 B* G( |' u* j• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 i3 [8 B5 h9 m; r
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
) `/ {, ~1 }! f- Z, i" R• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
1 S+ @" ^. U9 M8 G, f1 Q, s• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.; T' _7 t( u+ d
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

7 _ V8 f& W) WQualifications:1 E* M# G5 Q- A
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. + l2 @) d# C) m+ y2 c
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
, [, u' A8 ]) T2 Z& X• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. / O I2 V) J0 Y1 _
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
' d- c% J. R4 n6 j) T3 A• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential1 v2 R* S3 v {' o1 y6 o
• Not scared of heights3 A$ ^6 e9 ~3 l8 x/ V/ c8 l* _& k
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other' l4 n; s, v2 K0 ^ }3 B
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
