Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: . F7 [) m; {1 d
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.! m' \9 t: k3 K ~7 T
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
! B! I! U. {/ r1 ]• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 6 s! u8 p7 w- ^3 D$ N E8 a# o5 @2 ]7 j/ b
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office. ^1 h4 o/ y! |7 X6 M% Q7 `* p
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.2 D' p, C( i! Q+ ]# {. v
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
! W- _4 i' o4 H# t• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
+ W2 n- V" Z7 j• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.7 l0 `# B U( z" A" e
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.; o5 V1 k. t4 d, Y- [
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
9 z% [7 _8 J P• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.7 B3 z8 @/ C. R+ r7 s3 r9 z, a
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
4 O7 O, v' c& U: B• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ' g+ D. w+ B9 }
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
' a0 G1 \- s* Y* g$ C% M1 Y• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 6 ^+ O) @0 d3 t0 L
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 6 H$ p1 v6 O* K+ K
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential& {7 Q# m3 c3 ~2 M- o+ v
• Not scared of heights2 s* w( X7 s! @9 g$ c
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process., u5 r0 N9 l9 d( u( U
