Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant7 P$ U: [0 R9 u8 O% h
Location:        Edmonton

3 P: r) ~+ l3 W' D' u% AMajor Responsibilities:
% [) ^, C  A' q•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
: r) ~2 H6 i( W& V•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory., Z. C1 q5 S0 i: Q! \& G
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
$ R" ?0 O/ U0 i$ C$ Z. z•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
0 n4 \& K, b8 ~% \" c•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.4 \, U$ M% w. h
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.8 H' {* n* N6 Q& K7 S9 c
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ ?; C7 c4 D' s7 m& F•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.4 h( g$ i- u3 I" }7 J
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools., A. S& q8 [- G0 l  w5 P
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
  m; D6 f3 V* ]+ g8 ~•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.0 ~6 X9 g$ c  I1 `1 w  v& q4 l
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.: Y, e$ _6 n+ f2 x
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:

•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. . U, e: z9 t4 f9 Q
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
