Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: , U: L* |2 B) R
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.5 O1 a" h. ?  i$ m& e& S
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
2 i7 G, }4 i! @" D4 a9 X$ F•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  2 h4 g1 L. G% W* u7 B
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.# E- O7 ^* P& a, X/ A+ x2 H4 j
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
( `! A2 h+ Q- X4 O- y5 l9 U•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.) e, T' c3 M0 A2 N* c1 z7 S) F
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas." l" p' i2 u4 c- k0 v

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
3 }3 T/ r9 `3 E& l" w) q; ^- Q•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.# L8 A5 s8 ?  K3 N# ]$ Z( f. H
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

- s6 c8 w/ D. K0 E. f) C) a% A•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
7 i3 Z4 k( N  B! P1 s1 ^•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. : w& e1 J5 L9 t
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 2 K. U/ A" p4 t" Z/ S' m
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
