Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: ( P* a8 f) ^7 q2 O. u$ A7 o* L
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.% ~& m9 p1 c1 P( V! B5 }* p& u8 B
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.4 \& d0 U% ^: M, t7 s/ E6 P8 I6 [
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
1 p" I! B" u! B6 X7 c3 e: [2 l•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.7 t# v& T2 O, m+ H: i
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.' A9 [% p1 ~' z" |
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.7 ^* w8 e2 G2 b. j8 l5 k* D
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.+ Z6 `& \: o. h9 P# Y) z
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
, N7 X# g/ x9 o& r•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 A5 Z" [$ v5 I  `# @3 V•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.  K; y/ u: T* f
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.. ?# o: n: f8 ]. }& P2 k5 Y" h

) y. c1 G* H% M•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. . e8 i5 \  V: z# }% J+ a
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
' x! ~  F0 ^2 q5 q+ M•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
9 X5 p6 z( e: h9 S•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. + _: W$ R; |( ^3 B3 {5 R( B
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
