Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2% ?) [+ ~5 e0 }' N7 y. \3 a8 x+ F

Major Responsibilities: & S6 S1 h. K# b# a6 a- t
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.; o. W5 F9 C& ?# ?* j! G
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
3 f' B Y @* P( F/ x% g! Q• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
2 U$ U$ H! h; L! R7 y4 z( l9 H( r! w$ {: r• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
/ u3 Q3 N" p! t' G: T3 ?9 N• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.7 {* _. v) h+ ?, A) @- P. B
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.( J+ r4 @' E+ o3 p
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.0 G1 s+ D6 H# F8 V
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.- o+ u, t! `, e5 b6 y$ H6 i6 J
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.0 w0 x8 \8 t; ?' g# A. m
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning./ H) y- ?1 F3 B. `, F
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.: r, q" N5 S- u
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
Q5 j k3 P# v' P6 ^• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.2 E; U) l' R0 E3 Q$ l: `2 Z! T* D
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
$ M' f/ R% ?5 B/ L9 E, g8 l• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
' c& V$ q; u1 \' K* `" q• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ' E g \4 u7 j; G7 l
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 6 _9 L, |/ U1 R# I, l3 y
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. $ z) f% r# X; l
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other H" ~' e& v* L- a' _6 ]$ A7 c* w
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. # I: [% O: H4 Z$ Q% x# G+ `, X
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.. m3 J. f2 P4 o$ `- e
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
