Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
; q6 z) h( y# f9 `• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
9 s, u. B' f# y$ \; T• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.; P: D% c; y: q
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
0 P( f3 c; J2 z( b: t) H [• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.! y# ]5 L- M3 k8 T8 i- k3 n
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
* Q/ K- f7 L9 \3 M• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
& \6 w$ l3 q0 u( |$ v0 H6 X, ]/ I" @• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.: m- ]9 f$ w, b
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.7 i; h) a5 g) \& e
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 u% d7 o8 v( `4 U
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
7 B! T: ]5 Y& p( a/ g7 E2 L• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.( n1 U9 b t( H2 w0 c- u
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.# a; a# A6 ~* a* w( q2 ]2 E
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.# m. b$ b. a, [6 A, E" Z8 S7 m F
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:- t/ b1 g4 j% j/ A
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
; c, c" J1 N) `5 H$ K; {$ Z• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
, m5 U4 {( X% k5 [) H( E% X: ]• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
R" l/ b; |; A9 t9 v, c• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
# j: n) p8 A. P/ i6 _• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other/ u. k2 n% O: y/ c. j- {
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. " b; V# t/ s S& g8 E0 e. t
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.: B+ d) Z( s3 Q" E
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.0 S$ ?; u6 H1 P/ F2 b' V
