Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Major Responsibilities: 0 k! I2 k, N* F; H. Y! Z# J5 O! s
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.4 s) u: A3 e# s8 ~8 H0 T1 Y% F
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
+ t) l& f2 y- }( H4 A• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. + C ?" r* B+ [1 ~# y! B" I( R9 _
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.1 ]1 g2 U% h& }* S: ^% x
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.0 d) x7 \ N L3 `* A* F. o7 N ~" G) d* k
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.4 M, E5 N" u0 Q2 B; n2 I+ t( o* [
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
5 _7 s7 {( R$ a1 G/ i& V• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.8 y' ~1 m( K3 S' ?( i
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
$ u& v" j; D% o* r• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
; s1 \; m c9 B" F3 X• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
' f, {% U' e" A' Z+ h. C' {• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 2 q9 r3 P5 U) B9 e8 H$ r$ H
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
+ E1 E7 z; s" k( j- m- l• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
( z$ Q& I$ {6 v1 T" r7 f7 [) H& E• Not scared of heights
/ `' e1 E) A+ a7 q1 S6 m• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
- I8 o8 J; }8 U( G+ z• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. $ z" t4 i% J( ^: h$ u$ C! A3 G
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.0 w% [4 _# n- \ v2 h0 v: Y
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.$ `! A5 Q% ~ c, x$ m
