Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 7 ~- Z$ g& A1 I5 ^( Q0 R
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.2 V! n# W& R! b6 F5 b' A* r/ u
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
, |8 c' k! b- H1 @- N& t•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
/ K+ c5 z# ?" P•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
( y) m3 R: f; _•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
: e& A1 r% N6 c/ A$ o/ \•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
: B- X+ ]4 u- |' L* y' q" m( z•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.; w+ ?' ^( L& U/ J& ]5 ~
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.% y1 J4 m7 |# W& f; F
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools./ X7 I' Z- r( v  L/ x1 S6 W" }
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.- E. a7 J/ l2 l) |! l3 Y
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
$ d1 s, c3 [2 v% V3 @7 J•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.1 |4 m% y( {9 C7 l
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.* _6 x4 N2 Z! _
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

8 s% [8 Z( O  B•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 3 {% I& ]% M1 |5 o1 a, M
