Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager3 `& D7 m F/ X8 a6 h, v

- @, W( a' m6 N+ ]5 ]Major Responsibilities: ' _+ Z# p& o7 b& b, ?- d8 G; e
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
5 g( C/ Q d ?8 \ J• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 t1 z* a2 p Z" A1 j: i7 `
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
6 v; H9 |# b! K4 s• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area. n. G5 T8 d7 I0 ^- I7 x
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
: }' x0 m; |. K% X$ G• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.. k( x3 ^2 @6 {. C1 h: K
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
- U7 j2 R& e$ p; V' f/ P• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
# j6 W- P$ c# r6 w+ ]• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
" g) Z* M6 H9 X* j# {7 A• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
; S1 Q2 b4 _: n& z% o$ E" F• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
* D, U; A) {, C4 ~• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 2 m; H4 c' `9 y* ?) \
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. + D" A2 R9 v4 S' S" s u1 a
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
6 _8 q, _$ ?! D2 d2 g• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
7 H, N9 ]% O/ S3 K' S; A• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
6 V/ H F# V0 b( F• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. $ c5 R3 s9 S4 ?- P- G" n
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
