Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
5 z# Y5 Q9 t: N) V. @" ?4 k• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
" K* H7 _0 e% \0 i• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
& W5 n* w8 |9 t- e• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.* ?7 F# j5 J: U, z
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
% h( @, ~& S: E0 Q; ^, e E• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.- L1 Z! ?& c' s9 w1 s9 K
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.6 U& T9 F* Z; @) q
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.# |! e" W: P. w6 y9 H6 T; G
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
" _4 u* Z u) M4 D• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
1 l a" U. I3 B7 S+ l• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy., Z% [# H$ p& `% h! o1 h4 ] l
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.8 A$ X: {/ `, B
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

/ P7 x. Y8 E; |7 [. h' f) ^• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. T& P7 J8 q( ]8 h! ?# j" I
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
0 Q5 E0 n$ {* d @$ Z5 t• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
