: E6 W# D' v! o6 G* D1 c# z9 GMajor Responsibilities:
) {& K; B8 C( V4 [! ~# T•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
" ]8 X9 W6 K8 X# e0 `. x•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
4 |( t4 N$ }" R6 ?" [5 F7 G•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
# S1 T( e" I* K0 Q4 x; g3 w•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office., b3 h, s0 I- ?$ {
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
2 i) L6 x1 Z( N& d; e3 r8 ~•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.* v' I2 v" n$ V* J) |% t7 }; U7 t: d5 l# i
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
1 L5 b' \# ]" m; D•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
; I. t- f1 X( T+ x0 P, F•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
" P5 o3 c4 ]2 ]5 b3 w•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
$ T( f: W0 U: u9 ]  F•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.. d! i& j8 Z0 a7 |9 u1 o. W8 {
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.. V( p9 \6 G, A1 f& L' r, v% t! j8 W

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ' C- c) r  _$ R& N) c6 M
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. / K2 o) P; T* _8 N7 P
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 1 [  H" M! y2 u! P
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ! c; P7 q! V% Z1 p* b( C
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
