Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2, |1 J- _. y* ]+ p' }! g
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities:
5 U, Y# Y3 S' T3 o) j• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
* m( o5 F- {5 f2 u& h) h6 D. K2 h• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.5 i6 U) c& Z" ?
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. % ]9 L) W* v4 Q& S+ s. v& R
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
( n1 t( q, V0 s* ]5 H$ y* M• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! _- G6 D- v, x% O* @
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.2 c8 [& F6 J3 P% P3 m" u& u
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
: A: `$ R# I3 I# _* c+ t+ D% t• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
1 n$ w, M8 Q9 N% z$ u2 s• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
E# ]$ S$ ]2 u• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
& e* A B/ L% k$ p* I" B' n• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.6 z {5 P( N, G' P
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
9 n: u! s( d; p# k+ Y. A• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:, a4 c3 j9 q0 O2 I. a3 S
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
. A& O. B3 y6 }• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. $ k9 n/ I# W+ \' m8 g* G/ Q7 T
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 3 F& b9 n; I4 r8 k
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
" n- s3 f/ u2 [8 t• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
' c) ?1 V4 p" q, b• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
