Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
- y C; y# m0 W+ K9 i• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.7 G( p# s: u2 L% W, \
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.) i: Z4 s+ K8 f( l3 {8 M7 S+ c- W
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. * l4 q6 T- r K3 i: h
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
]# W+ O* d4 P9 C5 n• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis., L9 [7 |: b! ^! w2 ?
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
: o6 T3 \, o& P& L2 k7 u• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.5 O" S( ]. p( E$ z
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.8 r9 \* x5 l7 z6 q: I {0 M9 e
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
Z! s. i2 `6 ~8 L( K. {• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
9 B. m+ a( \/ E• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
/ M# L0 v* r$ d• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.# E3 `7 F3 G) u( g/ N! b: C$ ?
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.0 u! J- T% v$ S( i; F$ G
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

( |5 @, {. y; f4 G; x7 A5 h• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
" E+ W& y7 _ J• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
% v: J! S" I! P( F- j7 y- D, v• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
; h9 d2 u2 y: r! K" N# g% E- v. ^• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
! o3 |, A3 |7 g7 M• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential# A9 B5 O3 _9 e' e
• Not scared of heights
' M: b k& v+ R9 B+ n• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other6 C( P0 L, J( V, ?
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
