Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager6 A) y" |# r2 [* n5 {5 y5 B

' l+ ^' y2 Q" o% hMajor Responsibilities:
' J& d9 H0 ?# {5 m% K0 f5 y• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.% {; y8 O, C# L7 w4 _: b0 {
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.9 L8 R( D8 H$ H2 P1 Q
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
6 \' M4 ]6 ^8 }8 r+ C t* j• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
' n3 _% Q; N0 A* @- H• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
5 W4 S! j& I& e- V' z+ o• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area." t# j: O9 W8 v
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.2 s+ G3 d1 j6 v
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.6 w2 b* `/ o G1 c# U6 S P2 m
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.) `& \" V5 |& Q/ ~. L/ n0 Z3 W
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning./ Y3 [) x; d. a; V( K x" ^ W z
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
V& m7 u" D" W4 d6 W• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
) {) o' p$ i' ]$ D• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.0 {9 T& K- z+ D2 t) a6 ^
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.# j# V, m2 l- j

8 k3 G6 J0 l8 @; X$ N• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. * Y3 d7 Q/ }; B8 c- f+ K7 Q5 Y9 i
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. $ T" h6 ]9 t K
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. : U0 v9 d( ]$ H4 b0 z- Y) y
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
5 l; S4 z* H) b. z/ \: E• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
( G6 P. k. H' [- e' a$ N• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
% N6 r. s1 X- S• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
