Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant$ v; I: H) D0 x# {* N  d

Reports to:        National Sales Manager1 U: \& J+ C. t- A

Major Responsibilities:
. f1 B1 Z- G+ W! b! G•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
5 V  Z; _5 a0 W3 c•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
8 `" U1 Q, A3 Q3 P4 ^' x# G•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
! A7 x9 i1 Z  |8 H* `- y) B: h  m% c•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.1 B! T8 N( c# m4 ~( I5 [
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
& i% x. W3 Y) p* ?8 D, L, H* ^8 P•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.7 s% e, b' E: [# x. n4 ^
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.) f3 L. v. @( n  G& d( |8 x: m2 t; C2 R
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
' l* A) b) b" A•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
5 l9 x5 E2 f& [: b! @. t$ s+ L•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

7 F2 s8 E/ C+ N0 a0 A. W•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 9 J2 H$ y% D8 z7 N3 N1 C9 ?
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. , k% z; F# Q8 h- R1 {' M: u, S
