Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant. k. C8 g2 ]4 z: P' i. C( O( |; U( g
Location:        Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: # n; L/ C" u6 [( z+ Q
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
6 l) _  U: j# l' g! c  L2 D•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
7 y: J! P( F4 v* X•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
% ?+ l3 t1 M; S8 D+ ~•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office., {9 O9 q9 E0 _' p8 W0 g0 v( g
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
: C+ g6 F: d/ J: {2 k•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
$ s8 f  i' j8 H3 b7 [•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
# [2 u# d8 o" D2 a. Q•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.! H6 F7 `& F  h8 M
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.# `; t' q/ M/ t" `" y% A
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
3 Y" _, {  H, C6 H+ W- k  ?$ r4 M+ c•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 q* b8 R$ u, B! g•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
! |6 i. r- k, m•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.0 R: N: v# a3 ~! s7 h* j9 n4 H
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

: t* o& @: H) ]  z- g4 W•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
