Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant6 {" c& b$ x1 v; U5 J6 v  ^
Location:        Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: 0 f/ t$ w* D5 U8 x1 }
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
: n- x, x# f0 p6 |•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
! H' ]' g- j7 c' Q•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
0 @! _1 ?5 D# G- i7 A" s" B•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
( w3 A2 {$ G+ U•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
( x& Q* F5 b: w! |9 A. V+ d•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
- i) D& q; H( }•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.2 E0 g4 ^% A8 E+ ?$ M
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
. `5 ?+ E5 U6 }" Z- e& z8 b$ A  a•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.: u$ X) V3 B  ?2 ]5 K) C3 `% {
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
* c' n/ K8 t! ]- N•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
/ y, D2 A* f+ p" ^; O# h( z•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.. m# E! A% ?+ X+ a( [4 y
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
* i" P7 x; _" {# N$ @+ j! J9 a•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
, F& T" c- O8 K$ t* D8 X: u& H•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
& p- `8 M5 m  K•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
3 O* K+ P  n! F; \+ Y, P# R! A8 [6 J•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
) O. `* ?  Y# }) V) A0 Q•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. - C* q% I! Z7 e3 x1 c
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
