Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 26 f' t1 t ]# w
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities:
# ~' c" \3 ?1 }- [• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
6 F& @2 X3 _, p& L8 W' z• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
& V( z5 W' w7 S8 ~5 ]8 _• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
* I# P' X' y# D• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
- o& A- W, \4 j4 p, _• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
C: V/ U1 ^( C• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.8 y1 L, ]7 F- [
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.4 q. P8 c4 }9 r E' C
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive." F2 T; w6 Z5 i0 O
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
5 w( w2 \, _# a& D* T0 f• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
$ t( D. C! r* n( u6 o7 d9 C S" ]• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
) p7 E4 F9 r" _9 S: {+ C• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.% M6 @0 q4 a0 h1 n0 V
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
( }5 K3 s$ B) X; P% X• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
! [& B1 A3 b# i- Y ^• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
/ e* n; P$ f, I p• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 2 ~0 w" x [$ T: x% G
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 8 C9 s: W$ a+ s& W3 b
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential# ^: a! g( @4 {& G
• Not scared of heights
' T/ Y" C3 `$ G/ z1 U• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
, @9 O. {( D+ @3 @. q9 Z, u& y• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. & M+ y1 d7 W/ @! X0 K5 u
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.9 |/ r. m* ~8 H8 V
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
