Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant: M% J5 {3 q7 D

Reports to: National Sales Manager

$ U. I% t; D6 Y F- S7 b7 yMajor Responsibilities: ) X- d/ R2 B% _3 z# U2 D
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.4 y$ L8 m! T2 F: a
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.* _! K6 Z3 c& U$ |. s/ H" c
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. * r; m7 j6 C2 a/ w* y
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
i7 T/ L: j0 \% E" a# n/ y' I• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
7 v. b, b! q. m; T' r8 H• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.# A5 ?" y" J. ~) d9 g# n
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.) N; A1 [+ \5 k% C4 ^7 J1 P
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
6 r! {+ @' m7 `! n• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.% Z' X4 b% B7 Q# ?, b
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
3 ?9 i# M* p; l. o7 F4 }• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
0 m& g* j T! D• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
- A* J9 j) _3 U ?• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

6 L; a0 y& _& r• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 5 j* t' r# q" w$ ]* |
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. % W1 N: `$ W. O- w
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
" Y0 F% a5 D; x4 j+ M1 `• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- N7 X7 R' G, }* B0 K1 ]• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential9 i8 x5 w* U% b& w4 c. {
• Not scared of heights
, t+ i. m8 o8 A# A, ^• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other4 B) ?* ?4 D% u% n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ) E; \1 O2 f3 k s7 v3 q
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process. ?4 I6 c" I3 @$ k1 u$ N, ^
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
