Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager( G7 S# f! c6 z5 }

3 F3 Z9 j# l5 N% i6 qMajor Responsibilities: ; f& c/ I" c4 C: Q F6 J+ Z
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
; B$ ]& a/ `7 O4 p6 x! t# e• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
4 U/ K" y5 ^2 P& [8 m% a• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
$ P. |) R- P8 G Q( q7 k# I o• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.+ I+ c# w+ i. |3 b" ]
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
3 u) [. g3 ^& @- ^1 Q• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.% j p% n1 g( `# Z
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
& E$ w- t% ^% L/ x. f• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.. ?! {9 Q- V# Z
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
, C. z( {1 J, I+ w3 Q+ Y• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
3 q; E1 _ w4 v& x• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:0 i4 @5 |3 k: d, M# }/ l
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
6 s8 x6 L6 M/ q/ w# K5 Y- O6 P/ ]8 B9 @• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 9 x" {$ U! t" f, o! k% ?& T* `
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential4 v, D5 `% e! @; _$ F }5 t1 d/ Y2 I9 q

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
