/ I7 U+ ^* S4 IMajor Responsibilities:
! U. v3 _0 o% [* o# c• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
% M" ~+ T9 U, B• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 b! Z, l5 h% I# r
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
7 |0 {1 P* k* O2 d. q/ s• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
" i, p y& I5 w• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
* X7 ^: F3 o$ @% |& Z! h1 w• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.# Y2 Z: O: T9 L2 P! P2 K) F
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.8 J& r' r; K5 }, i
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
( i7 w4 D, G5 s2 Z• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.6 ~1 P9 q1 o( s! X+ E) S
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
) O- W u, K$ `* ^1 h2 U• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.: @: R9 |( t* v% ~
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
! o9 [% g$ Z+ b0 c. w0 N" K• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:4 Z1 q3 h: z4 j2 G' Q+ W( A3 `8 z
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
: I8 ]. y, M8 Z$ ?2 N• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
; O" u& ?) \1 W3 d3 V( P: p- e: W• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
5 D* n1 G9 t: C$ E, k0 W- r+ F• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 7 c1 `- v6 r6 ?1 I7 Q J* X6 k1 P
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential! v; }& W7 h3 u+ P
• Not scared of heights
. v# k0 g+ [6 r0 h• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
9 F& W4 D9 Z, Y. X1 w% Z/ _# R• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
. x& ^% P+ Y# c/ R% O• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process. F2 L1 H# Y0 z3 x
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
