Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant# j& B; D2 g/ j4 v; A' f" h

t8 |) K9 q1 q6 K! ZMajor Responsibilities:
4 z3 }8 S# R# V+ S0 m7 V7 U2 }7 H• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
! }6 A: W# N$ @ u2 i• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
7 ]4 S, ^" ~& h3 D% C4 B- J& ?/ ?1 E/ s• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
7 `5 M$ ~& g- Q0 {2 Y4 ~• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.: q$ \( ^) _9 K' k! N* `
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.( q5 g8 d6 G V9 {6 Q" Q. k6 g
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
6 S8 q/ G6 c. [• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.. P7 j" _5 l" r2 m5 D8 C5 q
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.1 A! G* g5 ^9 w+ D8 c
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.- a. S: a* M1 l6 {, g/ Y- j6 Y) ~, T$ Q
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.) W8 v3 w- m( T6 d- A/ T2 {' P1 C
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.9 B G9 ?) X }# _8 d
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes. {6 T* Z' G t2 S) e2 c
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

0 K' O& V, P& f2 O6 i• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. , m3 h- {2 P2 ?" a# `" `' G+ N
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
+ b! ~6 N* Z$ f* ]( j2 {/ y' ]• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

% p. U& S: M! F• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential* t* T* T1 R6 I! L% f. x! C4 p
• Not scared of heights
) ?6 `, g2 b4 W" s• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other" t' b1 o% M& S/ B; Z0 k+ N
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
