Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
; x; X( _3 s( _1 |! v1 T•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.9 R% ~: z4 Z3 A3 D" z  R
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
" g9 o7 X( B$ \0 J; e% q) D•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
: o% @4 |# w; Y! q•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.; ]+ C* R) s0 e! ?; L. N6 S, W
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.3 F; \5 T5 V! ?3 L" o" [
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.3 ?" j3 v/ W# r
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
) n. O/ _$ a  [" }3 N0 P•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.# A4 A9 G/ Q3 b7 z3 w$ W
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
5 _" K/ s8 T1 J- ~•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.; y3 {  M2 M3 K& x. f
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.  m) ?, e+ ]9 }; @- X

Qualifications:
5 ]  Z, x- k' P* C0 ~( v. J•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. / b2 a/ Q  `1 ~6 a
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 d: I% x) G' s+ U3 g& N•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
$ r. A: e  J0 U. G, X8 @•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
0 U9 }" a- ?, y- [6 w6 T2 V•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
