Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

8 v2 h/ k5 G4 |- ?% i1 ^3 oMajor Responsibilities:
! c7 ^: K9 A- i; S; F: Y• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.5 L- H2 w5 E; ~9 f; \
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.! ]6 S1 B+ h. O' v) a J
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ; C( m' ^* s( E2 Q
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
o& `8 ~# f& \. l• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.5 w0 }0 g1 w, }2 |( `" c( r
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.0 l4 U) q, a" Z# N, w5 W. h
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
# F5 T! a7 }6 {• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.4 _9 B, |! F9 n/ G+ {
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
1 R$ Z% t( h. e: M8 F4 B0 m• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
" f, ~- z; c, \ P) P m4 G$ W: N• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
% X6 v! X9 B5 B# X• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
4 R3 l8 d! H' x• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

2 ~4 }5 K/ ?, m% N! oQualifications:! @7 n5 z: F) G; h; M
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
U+ Y6 K8 }0 q• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. - s+ t( I0 T" o+ _
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
2 [/ L2 ?% U6 Y• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
~% X* e! I. @+ w0 j( D6 `• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential! h) r5 f; M- e0 ]
• Not scared of heights; [5 l/ N# F/ ?* j. q! E
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
* a) \, \3 E* G6 T: r• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
! E, o& P! L8 V+ Q0 ?# ]/ y/ }• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
