Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager9 k8 O9 _2 z0 R' Z. ^* `# N) A

Major Responsibilities:
) w1 D% W# ]4 y. T• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." r+ q0 h6 Z" w8 e3 f
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
# L7 @8 Z: y. B0 u% }. X* W9 |• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
/ v% \8 @& ?7 Q& T7 ^* m* Q• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
/ @8 U; k5 c w- ]0 q• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis., O/ g! C' K- a+ B: ]* s
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.$ I! `- w& U1 P% i
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
7 p8 e- H4 j8 L. m. [9 f4 p* X* |• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
* J& r% m: H& g a• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.# s, {+ j# s, z8 R, k
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
9 t6 C9 F* E- _• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
, L0 H6 y; `/ }8 W, ]& `7 k' s• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
! l% V3 U( m# x• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.9 b, m- H5 C* |; z
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:3 n( p' S) K1 E' d( \ W
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. ( Q) H! H, N# d# S) R+ v
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
+ K B8 l+ N# i0 a: p9 q+ `; x4 O• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. - q3 o0 ^* E+ h8 I8 }4 J$ Y9 ^
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 6 ]/ O* Q S0 V; T8 v
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential- ~& Q& P. O# n) o" Z
• Not scared of heights8 o5 W( e2 }7 H6 P3 G
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
+ [( c8 h7 x0 F- E; a. ?3 K4 W7 N2 J• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
