Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant' y- ?, K* V2 ~* l
Location:        Edmonton: @! Y& {9 b9 v. g6 i  i  I
Reports to:        National Sales Manager

7 N* p+ d0 N' ]' f" _Major Responsibilities: 7 @1 A. u* a( \$ l) g! ~
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
! O8 c8 _2 s+ p& B0 U  D•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.3 U% I# T0 ]" L/ @1 ^( P
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
5 \9 B. p  r6 q! k. |$ a•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.9 E( K/ l0 ]3 @. o) G
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.$ o  o6 I. T0 @# j/ n8 g. g
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
; X) e( X& c/ E) N•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.8 s7 K, _0 r3 @
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
' m. a3 h' ?5 w4 G& e4 H4 X. I•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
$ q. O' @2 Y6 b; R•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.. l: b- o8 J4 c& h% J
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
- s' K5 C6 V0 p4 b5 _$ _•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.7 A# j% F5 b% f) `
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.( @8 r: {9 @' {3 W/ c6 g
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.8 a' L' [; B9 |4 ^) ^0 M! o/ S6 {: {

! D+ v/ t5 Y- L' |& f- IQualifications:
( Y+ l( d  z6 @7 T•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
( v  @: K2 d9 K  n•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 3 O& t: |! q+ _% K' O8 e8 n
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
6 O& ~$ V% R2 X+ m•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
1 _, O9 u. V( k# e) f! ?- x•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential& ?6 c2 j2 b8 X
•        Not scared of heights1 l0 z- W9 H& U1 X2 F+ E5 N
•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
