Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
( ?8 P, S1 I9 S. {  t5 p3 C5 I: E•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.8 a0 {% {9 K8 M  G/ m4 w. A2 P
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
9 y0 _. w* C2 E•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
- |9 y5 Z$ e% l# t% v•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.8 h+ ?( a: f  o: X
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.7 q, ?6 m2 t/ M3 s- }3 R
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

! Q: U* A9 w* c1 s: h0 N; t% A. d•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.* k! x5 `2 }7 ~+ ?5 X" Q4 {
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.! ]- R' p- p) M5 o9 a9 \5 b
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.) B. S9 ?  R' D' J
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

0 h+ W& k; k* @. N•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. & V! X. Z6 d! \, t

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # ]# e- J$ d& H! a. B8 N
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 4 i' X. [' m$ T. t) Z) y5 q
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
