Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant" x# @6 h7 Z; W( V+ U

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

' K1 s* e* Q6 S7 }& K7 W) n. zMajor Responsibilities:
, Y/ w5 u; @& {6 C/ F•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
; h9 [) d, q+ F# a! K•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.) b) W0 ^1 ^. E7 U. q! Z0 K
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  7 h* B0 S7 w# |( _; i9 r9 Q
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
6 C( u$ {9 }0 _; {1 q9 }•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
% o; q5 h. ?! k, J9 F5 @6 `3 g•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.; t: ~" y8 R. Y4 |1 h9 M3 O4 j
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.2 t/ t6 L5 g. [
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.- E& v) h$ ]( h3 v! y3 v' t% F: N5 L
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.2 _3 @0 {4 z$ B
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
' p* o7 H7 j! Y$ i- J•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.3 r" u* F% \8 P1 ^3 h
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
$ w4 o3 b% X6 @" i, r5 n•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
4 P5 v* m$ U: y/ ^9 g•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 1 P* s- ^! a$ ~- g) T" |  U% n
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. - R. L9 G5 D3 S( L
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 2 E+ r' B2 S  w% O+ m3 }& N
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
' f7 ^. I- H' Q0 j; i. D•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
