Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 5 S" x% q/ T6 L- a. ?- l6 a; |
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
( p* L8 t& _4 t8 n9 O• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
: ^# L# j, ]' `( L( Y• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
. h9 d$ ?7 I4 ^5 @' ^• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.7 `) s6 ^, e3 F4 `% G" ^
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis., m5 c! K) {6 ]9 o& o# Y6 I
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.- x6 M1 f& Q% X( {
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.+ P4 m) o/ L; s- ]! q
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.) O g- P8 S% M, V* K& {0 K* H
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.- Z" h& f% `7 v+ A! l9 K' t% b
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
/ m$ m0 T; E, ^• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.( q9 M' T; X! [( p
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
2 e; G M3 U3 L+ g G4 R" G• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.$ P; ?4 S2 i3 Z! q, G
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:0 D% A3 T% y8 s! q
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
3 c/ B' G# G* ~: z* V! @" x) I• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 W1 c4 ?- Z9 w' d* ?4 J$ A }. P2 D• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
+ Q# c: I5 w* d; w2 R• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
& C8 X6 c5 O- G• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential& ?$ M, ` I! C% r" ]0 ~2 r+ n0 U
• Not scared of heights, V: Z/ U D9 O4 h
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
* J/ m, T0 D# A# j; _/ N8 w; z1 I• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
