Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant" u& T1 {' m4 r' w
Location: Edmonton

' f$ w& I- A' zMajor Responsibilities: * t* u# J/ p f) {3 _
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
! d) I, C1 ?6 E/ E1 w q' x• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
! j& X% p& k$ U: K; o4 ~2 s0 d• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 5 X& q* }9 w- W# e
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
! u5 t! n3 {5 Y1 q0 E• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.% ^ x# O- b, m/ E
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area., Z6 Z; s$ B G- h
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.) T m, f" O M3 s( x4 f4 v9 N9 {
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
( d' i) c: M1 E0 a% x2 p• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
- B3 d, ?2 i% Y) ^; `/ s9 e• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.! u5 J( G1 ^# v0 G# K) U
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
2 k- M& O3 W7 w# D+ @' B) ~" w• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

# j4 V7 w R7 P' y3 ?4 ^• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. p$ \" \7 g: h6 \/ K
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
3 H r& ?' b2 v" n" M• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. % e) x) |: K& x8 [2 d! W; m+ o. g
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
: b0 e! C5 c( W( O) z• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
" \; I2 S" a- J( k+ K• Not scared of heights
. E7 e0 E* |( g" O; H• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
; B. G6 t! W7 F" m5 t9 s: N• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ' S4 c) k% q7 r3 @7 b
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.! S' T% Q# E, ~- m
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
