Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant5 b5 F2 Y( F9 L

Major Responsibilities:
1 Y' v4 w) d% ^* h( v• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ P( V! ^) J" H8 E2 ?' r• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
/ D' }6 h# K8 n2 g• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. . Y/ h, M' s* P U; \ K) Y' T
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office. F# {' t c3 F q8 u
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.& l! J# c6 y) _, d, t
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
' r5 R! G2 D( y: h& a2 A• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.$ O( j) E: J- }7 T) ~, @
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
: ?0 p" @5 l9 `7 a+ s4 l5 ]• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
1 y. q" m- X: \ U• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.0 P" {4 o# E+ i
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.- I1 R* X9 p& m) J6 N; q V2 n
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:% d/ z# e* q R0 a- Z: V. ^
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ; J" w1 S0 x6 a, @& r
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ( f" t2 c$ P' M8 o, y k6 j# p
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 1 s- K+ S1 {1 ~' m& Z+ r; C
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
4 R7 M/ M- w5 G( ?& ?• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

& \( l/ S4 H3 Y! G3 s$ f5 o• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.& h j, ?7 P5 ~# w4 `3 r6 K$ X
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
