Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to: National Sales Manager

• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.# A' f. K; Y6 b' u* w H1 u
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.8 m' f* A( _- L3 h2 r1 z% z
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
E1 [4 K. y. K' i/ p• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.* }5 E* y8 H+ h6 J# C% r
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.' ^" N7 U+ B9 k5 `& L p: y; a
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.' g- g/ t8 }' t7 ?+ F3 X
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
& R; A5 ~4 n) y& ]$ `0 f• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.2 O+ |9 l, j! P9 }1 `+ T U4 c% c
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
1 S0 Z2 W" u! f9 H( [7 c0 a• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
% C. N- q, w% d/ z! ~! K- {4 _• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
2 k7 {# h' r" e8 s5 ^' [• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
. d3 }8 n# M9 n m: ] I u5 w( {* l• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. * y( f0 J8 E* {* o& k* P
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. `! z9 U5 Q1 t9 q
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

) N' k' S* t9 a3 I0 |! f; M• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
