Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant. c0 l$ P1 O" Q% f" V" {9 d$ S

Reports to: National Sales Manager; m" r( X' r7 ?$ f3 _1 J

: c& J) Z( [3 d$ q' H, `4 q! J$ Y9 rMajor Responsibilities: ( Y) O) C& k+ A+ {2 C1 e
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
6 g6 u+ \2 H. A/ R$ ]- f0 B+ C• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.% e8 ]0 \( c$ p* W% x
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. * j% B7 D! G" x
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.. R" Y. G% w. g4 c, M
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.. C M, m1 {# x( {! }) u/ [8 R
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.4 e) E$ R: c( V% ~
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
3 [& R( R# P; P8 C9 J, P• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
8 ~7 Y5 E6 @& g. F• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
6 |6 b' D' f% T' G5 u• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
6 ~# S$ O' _, o" e9 G2 d• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
% J& H6 \8 R9 I• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
5 E1 I! a9 I5 r9 `! W9 P/ j& Y• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
, o4 G) o) v5 I) _7 T3 e0 F- G. T• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
+ C* q$ f! F# q& C• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
" m0 u: E K( B+ b2 i- }; q) \• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential8 R; ~# g& B% f+ u; d1 g# q* ~
• Not scared of heights
8 U$ J6 y, W0 v# Q• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
4 v5 b- J( U( a: a9 d5 _• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
