Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
, o! z( Z1 E# @. h- b• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." V# ?7 @( @% m- d. ?, o( C9 Z3 x
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.. p7 Y+ c& V: t2 i# Q& T1 Y
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
) ?/ c9 f" e# @, {7 J0 d8 c• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.( w4 }1 }+ [7 X
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis./ ]6 e, I: F# y1 v* Y1 B( O
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.7 `+ F( B3 A- z' t5 e' x
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
. R+ j2 Q T& _1 \6 y• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
, j$ f. B/ t+ O) \% y' S5 O" L• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
) Z: P5 f% `, A& f5 h• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.5 o3 K; P& f2 y6 b
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy." O% Q1 `9 Z4 A% a/ J% N9 ?" n
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
# l4 U- `9 l. f5 x" W, S; \• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:8 B: X( {' K5 P) I
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 Z0 a+ {/ T- C3 a. Y; P2 e/ ]9 x
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. * s4 K) G/ m1 x" U$ R
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
) [3 p! h8 a2 O5 u9 M& n$ ^- i" O• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; d: G# I0 L5 \; X6 n• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

$ E3 b( j) |$ h" c) f• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other, a. \' S) {; t" N2 q: y
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 0 i4 Y5 @: _& h8 u) s/ J c) M
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.; S3 a V/ h7 ]! M O! C
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
