Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities:
  ]" T, q$ U% N' u, \% U! M•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.6 O! \3 W9 [% g8 @5 I
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
) x5 W6 x9 |' ~8 x: e, u•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  / p1 ^2 z1 M: Z
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
* m  z* i1 U& t3 ~) {& j9 e% U•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
5 T) S8 p" O9 q% d•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
, D/ D7 |3 l+ n2 A8 i•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
& e7 X6 j8 h) s9 {6 U•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.3 w3 d4 K$ E+ E- l. @* k+ n8 O# R
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.

•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
2 A) i$ J3 k2 t0 J5 k' T5 ~& y3 @•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
' m. O+ G: M; J4 L•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ) z! y  ~5 q4 G$ T9 k, Z
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # p" i& U0 v9 A, x& ]2 s$ b
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; m0 N& b- d' S& u4 k•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential8 }5 z2 u$ o1 ]. Z* K
