Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

) J4 O1 R: C9 u/ o7 J. S" k5 b9 B' A9 c+ F- U; q
Major Responsibilities: % ~$ L3 x3 h. i8 {% Z
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.6 h- ?2 k8 ~3 m4 e7 }' v. F& O9 Z$ N
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.4 J. J3 c3 E( i
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
/ O2 v3 u6 I' y$ g& r/ C7 P• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
4 ^( Z4 H- a& G3 ~9 q* C; q• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.$ x! M5 r- N+ W1 t; @
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
; n2 a( k7 n& x$ f2 g9 M) k• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.# A* K. s0 G: A8 _, M, u* r
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
4 t5 D: }) R6 q6 E• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools., ]4 a$ @8 ]/ G: [9 x$ n6 q, P( g9 M
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
1 a. T7 I; u6 E2 n! \, r; Y• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
2 K5 R$ j; Z/ |8 v• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.! A1 y/ @' {& W* z# d+ N/ V6 F, ~
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required., u/ m6 z& \* x2 V7 t7 @
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

' \1 I5 x F9 n, O# d) C• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
! M. Z# ?4 u3 r' W& C• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
" q" w# A+ d/ m% T' Y) b* G& c• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. $ o! V# o! ?- H- Y9 [
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
& o% T7 C7 u7 A• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential2 r" k" N1 `# b$ A4 A
• Not scared of heights
$ K! y$ ^4 q# G- J/ ], Z, M8 A+ {0 t• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
$ K/ M) o, j! i2 I8 {• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ' p# \9 c+ ~% T9 j8 |$ B* t
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process., n: F7 \2 W- X3 k8 F3 T
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
