Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

7 l' C7 w3 x7 ^) FMajor Responsibilities:
% w3 g" b7 C: t• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
) ^8 T Y- [$ S. F" q) F8 ^• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.: n) d: X# P9 k' g' l* B% g# k Y/ H! ^' D
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 6 F5 M A: ]3 n- y) Q7 c$ W
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.7 e# O) r0 k$ ~0 T" u" t
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.. X% e3 {% g' g% Z6 P
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.% F# b( }- k, }$ Y3 b' f5 L. g9 |
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
8 M; a4 D' w9 P• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.4 @$ Y9 U- p, w" ]5 B8 `
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools. u* c( k% ?# H; Z( x, R% n
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
, D5 d( B$ s1 B$ n• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
* H; N5 H8 m1 R% p' W• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.! J0 g& Y) N! b' A0 D9 n
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.1 B4 J! ]+ S1 }1 W" E3 `, Z; N: ^" d
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.2 Y4 j' n2 `0 b. U9 J: Q

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
, ^, J# ~. {/ b7 F! @/ \$ @) W' ~" Q• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
9 \1 L( N2 s- o- Y, s. X• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # H O9 e& | T/ b9 w4 J0 Z
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 8 W/ [. l( l$ G8 O( S, @0 S) q" g u- ~
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential5 _! z6 D# s( G8 c
• Not scared of heights
% @0 C. y; M1 K$ S9 P# L! y• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
& W9 Z4 S2 p( t3 E& V& J• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.2 O( a, Z& G8 N# p9 i: F, O
