Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager

! h0 U( ~ T# d! WMajor Responsibilities: " H! C* ^/ \- o% f4 K9 U7 g# m ~6 ~
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.$ P, m! T. D3 v4 ^! B/ n* A
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.0 G% M2 o1 T* C9 n# i. S
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 6 g. ~7 z& C- T/ Q1 [
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
; i7 L+ f6 j3 {3 L% d+ h• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
2 S0 T& Q# d- i d' t u+ \9 G• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.1 ?+ V3 m% }" Z, O- P8 p0 Q
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
+ r' h% H) b7 x$ ~/ P9 C• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.2 P6 Z) a9 ~+ _% r
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
& S0 A* Q4 J( U) Q8 h* _• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.7 f& U/ `3 U9 [$ s# R- o3 m
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.6 p/ Z! ]1 u |1 G
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
/ J: u3 ]" a9 o/ _5 T8 [. T. ~/ B• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. ( ^% S4 g; ]7 V1 C
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 A- D6 N' \* O$ y9 ^3 v• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
' m) I, ^0 ]1 `, R5 F) [$ H$ t1 Q b- D• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
! ]! @: A) `. U) r' j4 P, ?• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential) U8 ~, Z2 P$ C8 c4 s/ U
• Not scared of heights
. v" q' d/ b. F" i. e8 Z8 {; e• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other4 |) Z0 i2 J. j5 ]+ }4 q
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
