Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant8 E7 f2 w2 l% t2 A. h

/ }% R1 ^# t2 L- [, v$ l0 b+ x* _0 k# V- ~$ _+ G! w4 t
Major Responsibilities:
$ j6 S3 Y0 ]+ I3 s; ^. t• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.2 h$ l5 F, s" V0 R* f1 H
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
" v. @0 J7 t' W. P6 }! [1 k7 F• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. " h5 w1 q' l" }8 Q) X0 o
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.0 X Z1 i* S+ ]+ |/ X
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
, E/ l: v/ P) h L• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
2 x w2 M- H% B0 O. t B• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.7 {" u* ]5 j- a1 J4 ?
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
4 P5 U- b. I6 i0 i+ o. K& {• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
( d' m8 B) D' G, {3 K' y" {• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
: r) W( a8 E" z/ [: ^• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.9 t) D4 K6 k# u& U) N
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
* e3 D0 b+ G* w6 x1 H2 Y$ u• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ) B- m: J1 } F. i
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
4 k' t) W# P( U: {& |$ [• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 4 Q4 ` M6 V9 K q
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.

• Not scared of heights% c: U, O9 R8 T4 `/ z; R4 ]# c
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other! _# w D+ u* ~( e6 g; s
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
