Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant! C2 O3 U7 @) @3 n2 v8 {

Reports to: National Sales Manager' T4 ~: Y# T" V

Major Responsibilities: ) @: p/ o& P0 `8 }/ F( U, _% {, p
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
6 ~5 U" O) t+ w) ~ H2 V• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory./ Z& k: S# u. y( o
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 7 m: v; _, O+ |9 U! }
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.2 Y, R- J& q- G% A3 d( x/ s& ^
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
" V$ j1 C# ^. H* c2 Z) P• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
! o, ]7 Q7 I: o! f• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
# A6 C# a9 S/ I$ ]+ ^4 F% m• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
7 `+ l7 u0 Q+ s# [• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.5 T d7 @( S4 S4 ^ K' P
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
7 v H$ U4 f7 f0 A& p2 ]• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
7 z# T/ z/ ?6 s5 r- y! n$ F9 X• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.& c' W2 Q3 [+ ^/ @) D
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

1 A# r6 d3 f( t- Q0 A' k' L( p6 F, a# MQualifications:( v- L' _1 L& n" u/ Q5 W
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. : K q% P1 \; ?& n! [
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. % m. b/ }8 h1 u9 \( w0 _* z J
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential- z+ E% {- d, n$ H
• Not scared of heights/ ^$ M' ]& U: c
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other' ]/ F# h# Q' m8 O1 I. U7 q6 y
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. ' ]- y9 H; ]1 f+ u/ D \3 E
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.8 r1 ]" e/ C0 L' i2 C9 b, v$ J6 n
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
