Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Major Responsibilities: 7 |- a' Y7 R# X A. ?
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.8 f0 h* O- F& o" V8 G: s
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
3 O! Y. s+ A! k- U- D; _• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ( A& K( v8 F$ x8 k/ x' ^ _% O; @/ Q
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.) E. o) n* ?$ @4 j g
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.) b/ B& \( s3 }/ E9 d
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
1 y2 k4 O, |$ Z& X) g• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
; P( i9 ?8 ^) x2 o4 w" y• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
! `+ p* e+ i/ Z: {. r• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.) @/ _2 v+ a% X" ^" n, D
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.7 J8 E1 f5 D* Q$ e+ k
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.1 u5 `2 ~' b( K) G { z
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

/ d8 O) z- d9 p( L$ k+ ^• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. M6 P% [$ F4 k# r! ^2 A4 ?$ _
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. . `' u/ X- j O
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
; Z. M/ e- N9 C# {, l• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ' p' w5 ^* L: B4 n, `8 m! W
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
0 A6 N9 A; y, o, D4 S; ?• Not scared of heights! ^+ L5 d3 e% S& R! H0 i
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
: w# p9 a5 @' g+ f' ^3 @, Y% A! r8 ]• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
& W0 T e6 }8 C' d0 c6 j' N6 `+ b• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
