Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
1 f- z5 |7 p' r% X• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.* k5 {' [& R) I n- ^( |, y
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory., d6 c4 |- l5 A
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 2 C( ^7 @( B. C8 O6 r( [
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
9 t! H" e& Z9 l5 e• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.4 g* Y( \- _) K: i
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., G9 g! Y$ m7 x5 R, G: N9 v* G
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.' w$ }$ p, e& J' o a$ _
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.7 l8 N, r; F" j8 J
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.# @7 Y9 B& V; `
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
+ i2 J1 w* }3 F$ h6 G! ^0 m( E1 i• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.5 ^ [6 J* x' r8 X
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
R9 z; t! O' c3 q. e+ h& T- E• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
+ ]4 l5 {: O8 f. P" j! |3 W• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. % ~7 p) N3 t, c* F- T
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
2 J, h4 x' }2 o2 R/ w• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. $ e4 a6 |$ Q0 h) h
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

" o$ B/ y8 Q6 }9 s• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other+ N4 g! g4 I1 U' v6 ~
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
