Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant* z6 o! \  a  y' Q# s

/ v, ^. T+ e9 `6 H6 eMajor Responsibilities: . p) z! R3 A) T5 f. ?
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
9 C& h/ g, x  D" t: r•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
6 R4 y! Z% C1 W* `# `•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  $ Y$ T( Z- P+ U# r& p- d# b/ v
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.2 O# k3 q( b/ y' H1 I! N8 A+ o
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.  H/ L9 p1 F1 O8 `9 ~
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.( _/ L6 f# ]+ ?& B: @) r7 ^% V4 r# I
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ h! J% {1 s: P. u•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.0 Z2 M2 k6 m3 u$ Y
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
  z) X" x4 u" d•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
; ?$ `: |* C; v6 J•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
5 ]8 O% P) k( ~0 S5 {& g: E/ s•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.0 x* q/ I( \3 O9 Q7 a. F  Q
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.2 H2 U. E. ~8 W" h4 [

Qualifications:
4 x$ e$ ~& u1 z) o. N•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
" V* f$ ?  D: I% x) H3 {( I•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
  a7 B! k- }0 b! u0 m7 ?•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
) E5 P5 _. s* y  O9 i- w- h•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
1 }- [( G6 T3 I•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
