Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

4 K7 O+ n) E9 i/ ?9 H" BMajor Responsibilities:
: @! t; O  H" n2 p6 e•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.+ }8 {, P8 w2 [. ?" `  |
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
# r( W. h/ a& Z  e; a6 \8 q1 h3 x•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
8 ?4 B6 W5 w" o- i* h* Q, u•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
2 M0 {( K+ U. c( y, f•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.2 Q& l& m, n8 [# E5 X# j
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
/ p8 [: a, _, j/ x•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.$ k. ^; C1 m. c8 }( H
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.8 G3 n/ m* J8 `0 |3 E( J' z
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.

•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.0 H$ L4 v0 m$ A7 C, g9 {* E

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 4 R1 q: ^' O3 B# J& w

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ' V( m2 D& {7 z9 T  t; r7 T
