Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 26 S; C! m* c$ e
Location: Calgary and Vancouver, M T. n' u, N. M+ z, w5 M6 A
Reports to: National Sales Manager

+ [" k! u+ C3 TMajor Responsibilities:
5 E/ ~3 Z" \, J8 O! u• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., S% R! P3 m2 o& N1 u0 _) l4 n
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.# O2 C, {$ A8 M
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 4 v4 [9 B" K& `7 M. ]
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.( q7 L% U, f+ h1 G, A3 L
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.* b) ?) k z5 C
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.$ K: `7 D, B: B5 z1 r
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
0 K1 i! s* @% @( \3 s% D: [• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
* ^' [% ^4 u* V+ E) r3 Q# A• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
" j' V( d9 y7 [$ @• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
\' P0 u$ P+ s0 _9 _- U• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.# A8 O8 H! S4 I" m
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
o S8 a I6 C6 ^) b9 u/ Z• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.1 u& [* _2 u+ L0 D' ?

Qualifications:" {( \ S3 c1 J' e+ ~7 M- u+ K5 {5 W
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. " y F- R/ {9 E7 f: h
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( Y' n% d A( r- ^• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. + t0 y- Q' V% V. m
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
7 r$ K$ p0 _# w6 [# u) g5 ~• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other: p. r" B$ B% L- ]
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 5 [7 J+ f- j5 r4 B: L8 B
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
