& T. W* |3 K- tMajor Responsibilities: b8 i3 l4 j: S( \0 D3 X2 M- \$ E/ j
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
$ v. W- q( v% m, x) y8 K$ L9 l3 w• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
2 ^ u8 t+ k C0 {! |! N• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. , E6 F, z# S, P
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
6 ?! t7 ~% W, z8 e# g7 W6 Q" n/ Q• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
) i4 l+ l# f# a4 c. i$ r/ y• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
7 i- t1 I# K W( Q+ y: S• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
) c: }6 ?( S- R( \/ j• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
5 I1 F3 Y, w) M- w( ]9 w, g• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.; K* S4 L3 Z! g& }9 A
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.! u/ e! T# K" N& Y) _
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
+ |/ z- [: E- `3 w. f• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.* ?% j1 W3 J( Z& {" j+ k
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.* ^0 S/ u: o" B2 |5 |/ D& t4 F
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
1 R2 |1 |: f: c. H6 [+ R• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
. V4 m$ }( U; a# Q• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
& f' M; b3 ]) \+ m3 o1 N• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
3 e0 }, l# |$ U# f• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
" Y; z1 R3 \+ [• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential( y+ c- O6 c0 F# S0 b* } v2 k
• Not scared of heights# i. z/ I7 h# }2 d% b6 F( n7 B
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other4 O6 x6 D, J1 m2 a
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
