Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant' T2 e( O7 l/ @+ p! B* s" i; O
Location:        Edmonton

Major Responsibilities: 7 K6 h; }- [6 b' n/ j
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.$ v8 I3 Z" w+ D- I
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
* m7 y% [% G3 J, ]( i" Y•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
5 p, r$ z0 ~! X( f# G•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
) F1 x7 |( w9 \/ _5 @•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
$ p) B. U, k  l& `•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.; J6 }: m, b$ o* @& |+ C( j
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
% i* a; G* [/ Y' n, E•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
4 f( }' Y% Y+ e•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.5 Z) Y* ?7 W; x$ ?- q5 W: E
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ) k/ f0 J7 q- m+ y' n( x* r1 q
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ' E5 j: Y$ H& ^( v- L, h
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ( v3 ?; c% M0 Z  L9 W
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
