Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 27 B2 D8 k4 x$ [. \
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

* c' d+ B2 W( w3 yMajor Responsibilities: ) o) t' i6 Q5 A
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.4 C" a1 {+ n9 b
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory. i0 k4 \# a, a
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
( M7 U, _, Q1 I7 W" K( Q/ ~* E# s- L• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.1 L1 G8 J9 `/ R
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.( J3 _* C" \- B! K( {* a$ V
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.* \9 X% a2 Z5 `# n; ~. j
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.% S5 Q8 v5 Z! t3 s7 r8 b; V
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
$ O- r; B& Q6 F9 e1 D+ d• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools., t, f6 |) S; x; L* @
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
9 c* g/ C7 p( F8 v! h4 F1 m• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
9 ]$ D W; b% I0 a• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
& s# `* E' e2 I! M8 x# i' X• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.1 q3 h D* R( V0 m) K
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.$ Z8 {1 ~1 E5 @1 Q& K Q
5 e& ^# @ t; C, c5 F: ]Qualifications:0 j" M( F) F( b" {0 k% M/ r
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
2 z y3 _2 N6 f0 q0 t• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
1 S4 @2 ?2 I2 u3 V, o• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. $ P, x! i) _* ]! m) T1 r6 f- M
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. # x" }# Z5 M0 R- S% ?2 A& G9 |, w
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. . N+ R4 g' y8 z

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member., _5 x$ b; N u7 U& g/ l& ~$ I
