Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Major Responsibilities: 5 [6 a; J& {8 l0 g
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
, `7 H3 r8 @ a4 P• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.: Y2 B! N) V# z/ D" M2 T
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. $ ^/ d3 z& ?" T3 s0 m0 i2 x
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office./ s( l6 b9 }$ i' F+ N/ m
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
( c5 ~( [6 s' }+ F6 N/ V• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.$ k8 V" @! I1 c+ s0 Z6 d: q, R* C
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.4 c' K% p+ Q* a/ `* j5 A
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
0 H5 f! U7 O) r0 a• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
# a4 z v% V9 p5 G; S- c# o$ Z. x7 }5 k• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
" `6 L, d$ u2 K& }• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
; D% x7 f% r6 i- w, m' s• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
; b5 K. w# @$ c% q8 x2 w• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.1 ~6 z+ v. b+ g
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
2 u4 y! g* M7 P; a& n& g• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
' e' P3 S3 a' C7 B) r9 p, T• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 9 q' T1 n5 @. o; O* ?4 C; e
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ( l( [6 J4 T% p" g
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
& n- ]) L- P% u* A0 [3 f( U& h0 ^+ B• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other; A" |& K- S6 B! w# y) T3 C0 d" K
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. - r: b8 K6 B+ z* i
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
