Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

7 F0 t  |; K0 b& M( j! F/ |Major Responsibilities:
3 s8 X) F0 ?; d, p•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
  T: \, x. q  _9 m& q•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.# ^& V8 L/ Y6 q! ?0 A1 O
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  2 r9 I/ E: W% G$ f5 M
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.+ B* k; O5 S7 v0 |
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
( K. K. G" s+ c•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
( h; k/ @+ `3 d/ j•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes./ B" J+ e! ]! @
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

- n" K; @  C" q: e# q/ [! j# C: u•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. + z: o, ^! G9 c% k. h6 S
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
- T$ Z1 A- X; i( X6 w  E, a•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
