Reports to: National Sales Manager

o) K9 ~! o6 L% v, NMajor Responsibilities: 4 ?- ^4 D) o( j |2 Q6 C0 Z
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.0 M A7 G# r& N% [: n/ Z4 L
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.% |) k# \- o3 o7 @! I
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
+ u S$ N6 z3 X0 g• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
/ }5 i+ m. ?+ ], x. B) G• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
( _; ]- H/ G5 s9 M Y• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.$ B1 x+ q0 n/ s: y* o) [% w. H5 \8 k
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.5 G. b- P' ~5 Y6 ~6 U
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.4 @2 r' F% g" b2 v% j3 n# |
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
" z/ Y* _: L7 ~• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.2 ^" V- \4 R( }# y; K+ {9 R
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.. P+ ~5 l- g( Z: S' N: a/ Q2 i1 }' V
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
3 O) u5 y7 q- N2 Y( q• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
7 i. E* Z, {7 i6 q* R3 m6 J• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
8 y( } r. R a& h• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 9 Y/ N4 U1 Z; t A# e: Z9 Z6 V1 c
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
+ r8 p7 n M; D• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. % C; ^" F: _8 ^6 E# A
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential0 E. L; C! m- d: s
• Not scared of heights
8 f& k& c. ?& W$ g• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
, ~" J; R4 ^1 U* W4 `• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
