Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant( Q9 V8 O" v' B6 m: s; W4 e2 b
Location: Edmonton

7 w9 [, J6 x3 K1 Q/ s8 \ O- vMajor Responsibilities: + D8 y0 n% s8 s Z* h5 Y& M& q! h
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
% q* U0 d- S9 I/ y• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
4 J* l: |3 c: D3 ^* E3 q. y6 o• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 9 \/ d- u& Y$ M- e3 K
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
- F0 q: c( b, @. G3 v1 j• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
& R5 |4 _. O( A$ Q( ~* A# i$ l7 |# B• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
: e4 w. H, A" u' y2 a• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
0 p1 ?0 c' B1 L, b; R0 F+ x. f7 N" N• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.+ V3 L3 a) S' _! L
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.2 ?: H4 o7 r) J1 k; K) O" f2 O* R
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.- D# J8 F# L3 X7 Z$ m
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
6 k5 a- U/ ^/ a/ E• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
( f2 _: g4 V C$ E5 o: {• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

# Y1 G) a6 Q7 U0 Y0 u• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
2 j" N: T3 h; m• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
& x. @: o2 j& ?, H A& S• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 7 i5 b( }8 y# ^/ m+ _
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
/ b5 b/ }" b2 t; u! `• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential1 ]5 r1 X) E" M/ |9 v; ]' f
• Not scared of heights$ n5 t3 W9 a/ ^+ F
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other# ?, s2 n" C+ n
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
