Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2% s8 n1 A' [3 a2 ]
Location: Calgary and Vancouver

Major Responsibilities: 9 u, `2 ^: b2 O7 ~! w; ?/ E! \
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
1 @8 _0 Q" |( i. z! |# ~" B• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
7 i) D! T# Z& ?, M3 E4 H$ g• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. ) D+ y; |, _( u* K. K. `
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
& w- |9 B; _' D5 D+ i6 w9 \9 }9 w• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.4 {3 C9 ~! k' E" D# |2 R
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.3 z; t, w8 {4 i8 B" v- Y; B9 k( z4 m
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
/ [1 _2 ~- C& Z$ P" [- O• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
3 B2 x+ X' K/ m) Q% z• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools. n- S2 j+ o+ y) k/ Y+ S
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.1 C# ]& F+ b; D, p0 h
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
2 a& Z8 L, b3 W% H3 y$ q H• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.3 _, W' M1 U0 z8 M* m
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.5 A, M" w7 Z+ }' e* _2 _
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:; ~8 f$ \8 X% @
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
7 ]8 I6 t# w3 S* d& |5 G• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. $ C! _! i0 x- @8 y9 ^6 \
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # M. c6 N& O0 q! M" V
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 8 I/ R$ u3 p @7 i& O4 N
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential; R$ Y8 [( h' B
• Not scared of heights/ Y% v( ~. _: b; n2 M. U9 @
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other# h5 h2 L* ~) C; e% B- \$ r
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
