Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager

0 v0 a; M5 s- M' P( q* [* UMajor Responsibilities: ; Y E8 j6 x U# [
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations." e6 A, {. z( c) V' q/ H
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
2 f: u7 W* s9 ?3 ^# K7 I; }* H• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
' X( A' V# j F0 ^% j8 z• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
7 o/ `* Y. p7 C$ F• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! g6 R# {& `* T8 k: z. I5 d! b
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
' a% g& |7 g: o2 W, {: J• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas." H" B2 J, }$ q5 I( f% t
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
; d% P4 R5 ~8 l& O {• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
/ o* a1 a% f- u, }, S• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.$ X: k0 c( o0 } Q) F8 B( r: d
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
1 f o, H* ?! |• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
, O K3 @& Z1 w8 B• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:& @$ }$ q% o; ^! R$ S5 {6 [9 R5 S0 i
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
^ u% Z1 o# z; Q i, k; B• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. " m: W( g( p5 u( C4 r
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. * h- u, x. I7 E) c- Z( M; e' \; @ p: c
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 0 m8 C# X' l8 D- X. x1 c# [
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

2 G" d- D' @7 s• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
3 P; }! A) c8 \8 W* i6 T' d• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
