Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: 7 F' v/ \2 Q  g: {+ K3 B
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.' x& x, R% H% ~, T4 ^- K
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
1 S( j, z2 \/ X•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
5 z% z$ ^! c2 t9 r7 v6 F7 c8 i•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.0 r1 Q- ^% d  _1 M
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
% t6 U% F1 c  a9 H9 T6 H& r  L•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.' d/ {0 @& W) c1 e3 T
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

( a( D; ]+ |5 Z- S; V, H' d% L•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

0 H: D- w( _+ U4 @9 g% M•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
: x1 k3 m. w! t5 G# p•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.8 ?8 H1 {0 b: O: v
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
# G7 `* h" {1 |4 q•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
