Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 2 F4 r9 [- @' H# F
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.: n- V3 S) Y. P, p$ x! K
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
) I: A! v- \' u$ C ]• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. $ L' R2 j3 L% Y" M( X+ ~
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.: W6 X w3 H: t4 p# L7 W! k
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

& ^" m7 {! E# J# U• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
" M) Z8 d/ f. s$ L/ v2 T0 R+ |6 b4 b• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
+ _; k, w9 c. K% @6 r% M* v# X• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.* A- O2 { {8 i. T# ~; z
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications:
0 j5 I" t6 V0 W! t7 z, p• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 5 a8 e6 t( Y4 Q9 ?! C
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 5 T8 z7 p' d- h$ B
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
: Z& M0 ]2 c' c! s) z• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
- S* o, E5 o* v D8 Y. u" j; c" b• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential; b% r; \5 n1 Z: s
• Not scared of heights- P T* S; x. c
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other2 J' _3 |5 N% B- t
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
