Major Responsibilities: ' v, C( c! ^7 Z
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
5 y/ U# A/ N6 Y, [" i9 h+ N7 C9 |• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.2 q0 A0 z/ r: n% F$ l
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
: o& x# ^% ]' r• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
' _; m, R( \1 `$ f6 h• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.# l+ G3 ^& \' g; x; U6 N* X
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.* V4 R6 s- }9 v: p
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.6 w0 R' \( E/ e8 d
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
) o) R' P& k& {. Q2 ~• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.# L: W9 Q7 @- W3 Q/ z
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.# N$ _) ~$ ]& o4 P5 K
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy./ j8 @- w! F$ U; _1 K
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.9 X( f; n! i9 }( a/ D& C8 s' U
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. # H2 w/ D: b$ n1 E/ D$ F3 J$ t
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
1 e3 ^$ [! f4 c+ n+ L; G• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. A6 S" b, |; t$ n2 ?
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
2 b+ F, N, B5 n• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential" J) q) S) ?& a# C7 q
• Not scared of heights7 J" @# _' F# J7 A t5 }
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other. c8 }& p* e6 G8 l/ x
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
