Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

`$ v/ l8 o4 J. C) N! _* q& IMajor Responsibilities: ! f( Q1 X/ E- F( a+ G
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.+ Z% i) `# L" p) B+ E
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.$ `- Y/ J' R9 b' F2 V
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 8 w; r: ?- t3 M2 B
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.5 R1 u: n6 Z' M
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.# c9 e7 Z3 q0 |
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
# @1 ~% Z- ]! O% g, O• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.$ m3 G9 y+ q' Y2 N+ s1 M* t
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.& p2 u" ]0 Z# _% q$ }/ ~5 y, _
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.) t% J) L1 | e$ q9 j! }
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.6 y) q2 r, |8 g: w+ F# e; O1 ~
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
I7 u5 m7 S+ U- N, I• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.% \; z+ W- T4 b' F3 p8 U6 h
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required." b/ N/ |# V: r; U+ O. ?& C6 p

Qualifications:
2 k+ r; w' l% j6 l5 E# R• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
) b' X- R5 c5 G. o$ P8 E1 ^6 P• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ! V) T1 L# L& V, |% a
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
6 W# O% l# T7 t9 y) ?' V; ?% M! y• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
1 u& L/ K0 [; Z; S g9 N• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

1 `6 b0 i0 ^' ~, Z6 G) M# _. B• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
