Major Responsibilities: 3 `- R8 m3 B% ~: P- o+ }
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
3 z8 P3 w8 s. q7 \% M' G0 i•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
! s" p. ~1 }! L, w•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
: K5 t' y& L( s, ^4 E) ^+ O9 Q. V•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.0 t/ _8 a# T5 G* \- V+ {
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis." v. q$ p! t7 c8 b
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
8 Q$ }$ J/ O2 e+ e/ ~•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.3 L3 Y$ }/ \( f1 u  o9 K0 j
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.

•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
' g. p" [/ K6 {( y  y•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
. ]) b+ w+ a% z5 [5 J  L•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.+ S( c" S1 M9 K' z- Z; o
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.2 _2 h9 M2 }; G! z5 _( v9 L
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

3 C0 W/ ?  L& }& B•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 0 s6 s' }5 z0 m3 P6 y6 c
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. - b, G0 M& ?5 I  M/ x. O% C
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
