Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant8 J5 {, g# u1 q

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: 4 j0 ^6 b; o9 x& h% Q  [
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
: ^% H  E. J5 \  @" P& E•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 o$ b& v, U  @  y
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  0 D  d9 ^- Q' E: F. x3 l' z+ Q
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
2 l5 Q0 o. i" e+ L. B& `•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.7 `6 F& d! f5 c5 A$ b& b7 Q/ t
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.7 U2 U0 i8 S: A" |; g1 e6 v4 O
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
- u9 U) A9 ^9 {3 Y. f2 \3 F2 H•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

Qualifications:
* g, r- S- f! m3 ^: ?- ~•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 2 d' D, p2 h) E$ W1 ^( X9 t) `
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. + E9 P1 M) X$ D' P! g" m5 s6 `3 H
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
3 r( e2 t/ S' y•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
' X0 n$ [* s1 f- y) {9 p! q! L: Y•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential0 ]$ \! F6 G- _! o& F' r; U( {
