2 u) q" P' N+ BMajor Responsibilities:
, `7 x5 o% H9 [1 Z; ~- `" H9 A• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
: _! ^! j( |1 C• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.3 Y, Z2 ]4 h3 i# ?
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
( N$ k. o; j$ O; J ?4 W( h• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.7 m, U+ | [8 f7 F; u5 u" r( p' C4 ^
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
4 m) @3 q/ H8 ?" }6 Q: f% k7 k• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
/ `- c4 G' B3 w6 T. W6 r7 _, [• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.* y: d4 ^! T' F* l3 V
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
p9 E8 T$ i/ d+ L• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.7 {. ~$ e" X+ H& p. g! U. }4 t0 G
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
( {5 W2 S) Z* x4 ^$ |: x1 O• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.0 ^$ {7 b s( A. t
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
) r, A ~ k2 w! D• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.
# v* o& ?1 ^; v$ H/ h' u2 l! ~% W C9 ]9 T• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:+ V3 E6 H$ d2 M+ o6 X' T( J$ M
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
5 w8 k/ `4 x( s• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
. ~ Y3 b, b0 ]' F I• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
& ^- R, k- N$ p3 q; L* e# [7 G• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
; W# o* s2 s4 \) m7 K• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
9 _- a' n4 e5 g# c- Y• Not scared of heights
% i6 ?' s& j2 T7 b( n: t; {$ s• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other- s( K( t, M* A+ C2 w! {+ z
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
