Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities:
7 x# N) T+ C6 ?# i- Z•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
+ [) k2 K+ }8 E•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
/ ^& F, N. Q: ?2 e" ?•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  
% J. P7 O/ b/ h5 v- P7 Z. U•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.2 `1 ~/ a* N2 u* a" R) \; G9 S( w  {
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
( ~6 Y" ]: M$ E" `•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.7 ~" w0 X& g; z, y: w
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.3 o3 `) n, j6 @+ H3 v+ o6 q! r
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
' P  s. y7 L/ k1 r" i•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.1 i/ y. K) v5 Q" s
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
% ~) i, e' p; d6 }•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.% C( e+ r$ l3 j3 U/ r% A
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
/ e! I5 V6 x* g  D2 z6 r3 W•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

; S6 ~* ^) `# b5 L( R  O4 v•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
- A& G. b+ D4 R- p) z•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
+ U" Z+ s" _/ y4 E6 L9 u! X•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
