Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant+ z6 P, C7 h2 P8 G7 ~( D

Reports to:        National Sales Manager* e1 M7 G6 h& F2 u3 z1 G5 n' E- I

1 ?2 I1 m- A6 H. B1 Q# S5 l) p/ Q5 q1 R% h; Q
Major Responsibilities:
6 x$ k6 ~2 G7 }+ c% \) [6 y. M* F•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
& z! \7 K2 F* j•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.; q6 A& K8 G. Y2 m! {
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  3 f) ?, M$ c& _$ Y
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
8 g& h- I/ k' D) V6 C•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.  _) L9 p0 f( z
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.! e3 O' _& g) J0 Z8 y2 U' }; K
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.+ m1 q4 w, _/ ]
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.) f5 V( d2 F" n" [: J) D( @
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.* X) R9 ^9 e8 b) u6 C: K( \5 ?
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
, Y  y6 m! t& f* C9 h4 L6 Y•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
, p$ G) X4 I( t/ ?1 ]4 E2 o•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.8 B+ L% E6 B% V" a7 Q7 j
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ! ?. `% H9 _* T0 `3 \; Z
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
5 J  H' X9 u# e6 s# w4 p0 v•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 2 }  c$ ]4 h7 N( O4 L
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.   ]& y( O* |5 v! W- `5 z& ]
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
