0 @, H4 c7 Q* h3 ?Major Responsibilities:
% k2 I7 l) y" h•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.& ], T5 N- g( x- ?8 E
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
- p6 c1 Y7 R7 R) C•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  , i# n; P7 c, U' o) U. Q
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office." X  }' q' j# }: R. x6 A
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
$ r9 R* c* r& _•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
- Z) Y; x3 {, _8 N2 X•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
9 L- E7 T- n, P' ]•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.& e, B3 B+ ^; X
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
+ w5 {" f2 P! q5 S•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.- P- B9 K& a# M3 G8 z9 `, w; U
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.0 b6 p; {* l/ w0 R5 ^2 u8 ]
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
* V  a' K# r4 b1 A2 n  W•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.4 J1 i( X3 `  w" P
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.8 D8 {* q( w9 b, Q1 i3 H

Qualifications:" @& [# p' Y7 i5 l8 q# I7 H2 {
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. / F9 s% f& s5 C  H' d
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
8 z: \" f& \% T, |•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. $ t# {. k: }# W+ j0 t! z8 ]
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude. / }5 S9 e5 d) u! K4 Y: M
•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential3 E# y4 h7 j2 q& K3 w
•        Not scared of heights
8 w( \0 V/ x- I" R: L1 y) ]•        Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
