Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant( H' M7 w$ s/ b/ B

Reports to: National Sales Manager

0 J5 P, Q% n9 |7 r# j8 UMajor Responsibilities:
+ Q7 b# M7 x( p• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.2 y6 R$ |3 p% C/ o; [
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
; Y3 s% ]( y2 T: S e, w: X" W- }• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 0 x) w8 _& W3 W6 k4 A3 z
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.7 h( ]0 \0 s- T) p+ K- b
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
! S5 u3 {% q! D7 ^* O, V1 V( Y• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
7 z0 q' B, c( L Z; k, ^* H• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
4 t3 E W# p$ n& Q% s• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.6 [1 P: a, b1 t8 g
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
/ d+ M/ U8 G- \* K9 r @• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes." K0 A' q; f3 r2 ?# b
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required. k) _* @) B- r2 N4 H+ D
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:7 k; K9 N0 w7 ]2 e5 S D
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 3 V) s3 Q; Q g4 @
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
& a% |& s4 }% ^9 m }% s; z• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 8 i. U, R; A L
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 5 S5 u" J$ w% T
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

) Q5 N' @5 ?! ~$ U5 N• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
