1 O( Z7 K! H/ C5 dMajor Responsibilities: x1 f6 d/ l s a6 g
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations./ j5 }/ G, z4 q
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.0 r+ Q6 }, `: C+ @* x
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
$ _; `1 _ J& ?- _: F7 V• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.' ~5 u9 E) k+ @$ }# |: n
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
9 Y8 F2 }) M3 A9 J- v8 Y K4 G• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
% Y1 G, w% W% f) G7 V" g• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.3 w9 N5 h: t& O4 \& x2 C
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
4 u/ r' `+ n* E1 Z- Y8 y$ r• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.5 u! o0 @# a( p& V# x
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
, W: u+ E! Y3 K/ U1 H• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
1 S2 M6 U. | G! w• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
' A8 n2 u+ ] n# a5 W• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required./ j9 ]2 u. z4 I% M
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
" M) C) R+ n! P& ?• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
. I) N5 E0 U* f6 L0 ^• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
( g) A" V& ^ F4 r% [, }3 q• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
5 G$ m9 j; F4 |) `• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
N6 d- {6 n, [* Q4 p" Z• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
+ {4 u5 t" C) K9 J3 R' x6 m• Not scared of heights
8 s6 E3 c( P; @• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
