Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2

Reports to: National Sales Manager, N3 H6 X8 P# b

Major Responsibilities:
/ M1 y; h- h4 k$ q- Z• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.# `/ z0 l0 O7 w! m, E. `
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.1 |/ G/ k1 ~# B8 z4 T
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. . o/ O: r5 b5 E: u6 e# y
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
+ j5 f0 w( f4 ?* t, Y8 O t• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.! ?/ [) f" X+ W; u0 Q1 o0 v f
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
" k: E, J" w9 Z x1 A5 Y/ X• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
: x+ ^ D3 |: M& J' O' O$ v• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
9 J4 k+ D" W1 x• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.* d1 C$ c; j8 i9 I/ v
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
4 P6 z0 u6 I% [. f• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.3 b; |; C0 c/ ]( G
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

Qualifications:
$ \/ p5 B# M6 z• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
! {& r. H" z- \• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
% t' X( @; }5 R. z3 b7 J5 p8 S• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
% g5 ^ f+ t+ s; i, H• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 8 G h7 T$ P& Z5 d' s. S/ Q9 ? v0 L% x
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
" X* a+ m: L& D. k" a' b: ~• Not scared of heights M: B6 |) }& {( _) F
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
- z! w7 b8 D1 p# X• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. % ]8 d* {+ y) e9 D ~
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process., ~) u2 W; b) b/ n5 w7 J
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.( N3 E9 u* c/ w+ Y" s4 T; F5 h
