Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

6 a W+ c% C& y6 rMajor Responsibilities:
# m' ~& X. _& V) [* D$ M' @• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
0 K9 ?& R, f6 s/ K/ b$ J• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
% T" L$ U3 e4 R) L7 D• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
4 p- u' m7 c j% }4 n5 Y! H• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.( j9 l: J6 o5 g5 L
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.2 u9 g* b6 o0 n4 h4 x+ Q1 y( C
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
8 i$ [+ F+ L* N0 l8 o; Y: q• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
' G V; l( }" r; D+ d7 _% g• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
8 o% Y4 ~. C- h9 ]' h! S' C• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
; Y+ k4 `8 U7 ~+ U• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
2 m9 f& J$ f; D• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.6 `7 v0 D6 M7 m& T W
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
" X0 Z& c5 p+ @/ |• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

+ y: [( Z; T- V: z) T n# ^0 x& s# z8 u• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. & Q7 u: d8 P4 i. ]# P/ g) f
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
5 D+ Q- D4 ~' P. K' X• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
* q( y6 f. |2 z- O0 r) p• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. * |" g, `2 Q5 `3 Q% S. U( _
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential9 ]. n8 }, W' F4 V1 E
• Not scared of heights
7 v$ x" {. b7 d+ I; |• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
