Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant& o x9 D) c( k/ n

Reports to: National Sales Manager! N. ~+ ]0 K( d3 m0 d

2 b4 H2 J! `* ?% _6 f0 n$ X+ e% D4 |Major Responsibilities: * `* R: ]$ ^/ l r( f
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.% m4 L6 S2 Q. D$ q
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
, Y9 g$ W& P Q' }. x5 D• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
1 d" U5 @5 A( N; F, e$ d1 ^• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
/ i! o' e( w# r, F5 l) a) U$ Y• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
4 ]# m9 m, s; ]1 @* x6 B* G4 G• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.+ p% d. U& z( s* Q! a- T
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.; {0 o. ^. l+ I8 L
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.& Q3 M# k" y4 J1 W/ q
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.+ g3 |( v, F! D: V) \
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
- e" Q0 U5 T* |; u5 a. O# ?• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
# S3 v5 ^$ d+ R) w9 Y5 z• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
! {, F* N( o; Q0 T; X0 u0 `• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

4 \" A6 W1 Q! \) l$ J• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 7 v O% n7 \2 t' Z$ M) F
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
, q% p& f; M' G9 c) l" X• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ) u1 j0 y8 H; x, |" k3 q' x
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
" Q- H: g) ?/ q9 J) S; _6 A• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
! i* w Z/ O/ x- v4 i- F• Not scared of heights$ H- E% V/ z7 Y
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other" b1 g* G# Q9 ~
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 5 F A# }! f: a& N! B% q$ Q5 v4 V* m
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.: t% A- v+ K! m0 n6 i0 X
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.# {2 e2 x2 N# Z/ x
