Major Responsibilities:
, d9 @; |( E& w' A4 k: v% z0 _+ I•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.8 E' P' s1 P, Y
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.: J; D& R2 Z& q  Z0 R; d1 c
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  - q* F* }+ Y; j. y
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.! W4 t# N% a: l: a1 k
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy./ O. }$ x2 i, V' w/ {& L4 f% A
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.' L; a9 r4 \% \. X" D! y. F
•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.: y. v% j: _1 W# N- w* D
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

+ k. _# U1 V& H# \) C•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. ; u9 f4 {. O9 b* g: d

•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
