Position Title:         New Equipment Sales Consultant

Reports to:        National Sales Manager

Major Responsibilities: 1 p. x/ V& I$ U6 u. ~  m
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.( ~' w/ d: r" }# L
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
8 r8 x, `: J4 t' X' a  p$ R•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  . y& [+ a4 b5 W- c$ L  c$ Z( _2 z
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office." F2 u: h. v" b8 `: c. Y' M
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.

•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.3 G# _' X& ?: u! D6 N
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:
5 w7 t" K2 e) Y5 s# C5 `  Q•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 9 O. p, C, L) l+ d6 T
•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. + m) i5 j7 U4 p7 y: r
•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.

•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential. |" _9 N& r* u+ K) m0 @! d
