Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 2. \6 e+ ^, a6 {! c. H5 t! R

Major Responsibilities: 3 I% ~# a; m, Y4 c
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
" m( h4 Z D$ k• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.% W" v+ F5 v5 g/ a) f. T* E" j1 \
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
, @: L2 t2 |' r) u' S) K• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.( o+ {, I7 S3 J$ O
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.9 C, f$ x) h' u
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
* |5 f% g+ p" `" x- a• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas." y" c4 S: a7 b: @6 Q# i/ G+ I
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive., @7 P4 f5 S" }( O1 p3 M
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.& I; a, u: j* O! o' Q$ S& t8 R8 ~: i
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.# W! }& u; d8 |8 i( s
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
" J/ P, C0 x! E) D u• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
' G* K6 {. n0 @• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.3 @: Q9 B& L3 a1 H2 ~" o0 Q
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.6 c% P! x$ |- L! a( k F

; z! H# u+ H7 s$ [/ j• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required. & |2 P! A/ c% _0 C& g8 M
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. + ~" S9 ^4 W# c' f% `
• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
, H: \( c. a" ?& ]! A& w0 H' `• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. ; R+ [! l; g! @
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential7 B2 q- ~# j( r D5 u2 }
• Not scared of heights; Z5 H: q& y+ u4 D6 @4 h( C! ~# V& J
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.8 t, p+ g$ W/ H/ `+ V8 x
