Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: ( B7 H b1 f, ?9 U/ c/ O* S7 N
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.7 q* A; C& ]7 _# D( w$ Y
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.7 j; {0 b! ~* v# \
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
$ J9 W7 U: }: t% f, z0 z• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.4 v+ ?- r5 e+ @; ^( V
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
. E' L8 b P. o- v• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
" H1 y/ Z ]& i% ^/ \! s• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas. A# P5 E% |, {% M6 B
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.' Y) n" C5 S/ l, Z% n
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.* C* T0 O6 ?. m: p4 J0 \
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.( O7 E* |; q- O2 t' W
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.# W: E; y. ~/ ?+ d' O
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.: O! a1 C, s. r. P
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.& y; {5 g. n {, x" g
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.# F$ P' d, m! s$ t& \# r* L5 w3 v X

Qualifications:/ A; Y. _# d) w" V4 W
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
: X5 j/ e* \+ C, t+ Q' Q• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
0 I! R8 E; N% F( J9 P F! M• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
( G9 @3 Q( V5 Y& Y• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
) v6 S" x. c4 [7 p9 X• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential. k9 q& g, m" z3 e2 G
• Not scared of heights; X G0 [- m4 i& D" {& O1 U
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other% d/ b9 x! Q |6 S2 G
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
