Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant$ F' b/ ~8 `% m" E0 e0 r0 O
Location: Edmonton

0 M2 K6 ~! a) T, H3 v8 XMajor Responsibilities: 8 V( e1 c& X" j5 A# X
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations., r8 `5 G; F3 b4 n! t- u
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
N9 i0 P" ?8 P8 V8 E0 V• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
j2 p3 e* O4 P3 [# [/ o) {• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.! k. `3 X, X# M' O! g
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.2 @, r8 V# `+ U) G2 c
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.1 A+ U- g: X9 e! w! j5 l s6 g& O
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
5 Z) s3 D( s! e( c. Q+ A• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
% i" u: C* Y, n- w0 Q• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.6 R" b3 z7 {" N* m- ^2 u5 `
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
. A6 q* c$ p( D$ G• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
3 \. r3 S) ]7 N, S1 R0 ~• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
! O0 m5 N! `3 J* T. }# m• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.9 D$ R" j3 k( O, `' q
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

' Q) G9 `- f- }- R$ f5 G+ {Qualifications:$ E' g' X7 M# N/ K" p
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. - ]& D ?1 A! S# S% A6 m5 b1 s6 j
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. 5 X) T! H9 L) ~# i6 L* n
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
- y7 W' x {# I) t4 t; P2 z• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 5 ~- C( E/ ~2 _( ^0 s
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

, Q, x k. m/ r4 J/ q: V• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other) ?; E I8 Q. ]5 E0 S; V
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
$ @6 v; B& g' J8 K- M2 Z• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
