Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant. H& N; _5 u- D$ Z

Reports to: National Sales Manager( v4 V2 {+ v, S0 M3 F a

Major Responsibilities:
: H/ H G6 Z) p/ I• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
7 s5 S/ K% ?& k# ~! i• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
3 X5 J; N! R' E M• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
: ?8 g9 ~" o( ~; [# R$ @• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.

• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.

• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
6 `+ ]2 q5 E4 e7 I) R4 ~9 i• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.- S) s# P+ e: L7 y5 e: u4 |
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.- z; P9 F+ l7 j: i1 v( |5 ?
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. 6 j- F4 H- G' s; C0 ^! u1 @
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. . b0 ^3 o! k& s! B5 x6 q
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. # d; u3 m% Z C H
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
! O; Q4 L, y- T- K8 @• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential- O" C% K( S& @4 q& q
• Not scared of heights
: y& O x8 p5 h0 m' f- l; b• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
