Position Title: Junior New Equipment Sales Consultant x 22 P! r1 ^, ]& m x6 S& w
Location: Calgary and Vancouver+ [/ S& {' r# d! k& w( K
Reports to: National Sales Manager6 K, Z& x1 v$ r1 _/ D( L7 q- z

Major Responsibilities: 2 S- G' _! s& [# w
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
) w0 w2 K0 l; u w& q. W) z9 ^• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
6 H( h. q: |3 {, j) x& [! R• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
3 Q5 j" z- `4 p5 D: Z9 \- n% m# T• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.1 R' t8 U n/ B: _
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
9 k: K9 p& c0 y" c0 E ?- ?+ W5 E• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.! E; I- y3 G8 j- K& W0 R. M
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
S. Q/ n2 w* b8 R" k/ l- A• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.' r6 A0 B, e$ }6 U' s) J4 g# M/ h+ R
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
+ W- T% k6 P$ l7 F1 K8 R( @" M7 Q• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.* F5 `* X/ `2 d, u& ]- y
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.0 v. q D/ M8 v) t- J# v" Q2 n( T
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

" s8 A# b- C9 F+ C) TQualifications:
& ]4 T& U7 ?: ]0 l) F• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is encouraged but not required.
, A$ \+ U- H2 q. }* h! P& O• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
3 t5 p5 V& [5 g. H+ D• 1-2 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
6 Q) q& m w4 f3 s• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 8 Z' @- }7 u6 D @* j8 u0 k
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

. j8 {8 \' Q" ]% P• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other: T- W$ D# b5 \: }, u; F
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. 7 j0 q! H9 l, ^/ J* i
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
