• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.% o8 Z. [( V3 Y/ |" t6 E. e
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
+ O( l# o) z$ C+ t- e% B• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
: p4 X k+ D3 |' Q) M( F• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
. ^6 q8 R h2 \7 a• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis./ v8 `& b& p9 N! q
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.0 G- f) b8 X2 E' Y! T) x Y
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
6 g1 ~) ?# \; Y+ P. L! I• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.1 |) a2 I7 U0 t5 z. D/ q
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
# _1 Y7 r, I: v' J& J5 N• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
5 H2 k2 |, D" E• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
, t8 i9 x( P2 {& B: F1 L$ M6 m$ J9 j• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.5 q# D' b! ^; p6 i% _- c# P; H
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required./ Y @6 H; ^- ?& ]! d

Qualifications:1 I4 m: A( @- j$ ^1 d7 Y# x( B
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
9 _4 a1 ^: k) E6 ~. G( Z• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ' w. F2 F+ Y$ G
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
) ^+ a3 `1 `* M; g• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. : |& d: M- S5 p+ K! Q
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential* P. ~! y6 X& @ O( V m
• Not scared of heights9 ]" @/ s. c# A
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
& `0 D, _% m9 m8 `6 d• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. # R/ U, o" U- W0 g H; h

• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
