Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant

Major Responsibilities: 1 z6 R9 ]: g' Y( B" H: `
• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.% }. I& M( @* J. ^" Y' C
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
7 o7 x9 n: X G4 \2 l9 h' e4 i• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 8 F; s3 x" v: L" q6 F9 N9 Q
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.* x7 \9 G9 k4 y$ ?
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
% i' W Y1 M6 S& r1 @• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
; V) R( c' y7 D2 I* ^. G! R• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.# [' G5 |- ` N4 k, j
• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.; L" T* G: g# _: s
• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.% J) w4 \$ p" R9 k' N% S7 O
• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.4 B8 z; l) Y V* T
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
) w; ^) ~3 a# I( Z% M8 w# ^• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.3 w$ d9 J' S- k0 h* F9 F6 z m* Z
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.2 s) b" U0 ?# W. {/ P

Qualifications:
& K O# I% c# x2 G' Y+ A/ s) \• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required. / C1 o3 @9 E& e+ ]$ b3 n4 O. N
• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
) Z0 F1 }! n6 T; _• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 3 @+ L) p; d) p; [, X
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude. 5 V$ E+ q1 h+ w; O" d' ^2 ?
• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential

) B2 T( t/ _" \; `• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other2 ?7 }! Q& y7 c; P

• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.
