我曾经参加过一个专门为有教师经验移民办的培训班,其中有个德国人拿到了亚省教师资格证书,也被一所郊区学校录用了,可是3个月后她自己辞职了,因为家长学生根本不信任她,总是笑话她的发音。但是,我觉得她的语言很好,口音也不是特别明显。其实,试想,在中国当老师,一个普通话说不好的老师,学生也会笑话。我们的英语很难学得像这里出生的人一样地道。7 U t. p2 a8 T) F: U% i4 f8 |7 c

D5 ~/ H: `3 V% [Very true, it's hard to get a permanent teaching position here, years ago I met a lady ( a locally born and raised european- canadian) who has a master degree of education but she had to work at Superstore as a part time clerk for a few years before she finally find a job at public school board. Be prepared for not getting a job in the education field.
