We're looking for an Administrative Assistant with excellent time management and organizational skills to ensure the timely and consistent administrative support to our vibrant organization.

5 F" d0 B8 M4 C' p2 ~5 V3 QKey duties: Respond to all general inquiries; provide administrative support for events and mail outs; maintain an organized filing system for office records, minutes, government registrations and donor records; process annual government & charitable registrations forms; order/maintain office supplies; manage and maintain office systems/environment including policy and procedures manual and office operations manual.

/ ~+ z# M u5 Q$ o/ ^9 LPLUS: Manage office technology software licensing and hardware maintenance; process bill payments, project & program disbursements in conjunction with other staff; assist with processing donations by making bank deposits and entering donor information into fundraising software.

1 k- M/ `: t4 R. t$ \! n/ ~' ESupplemental: in conjunction with the Funds Development Program Manager, maintain donor dBase & ensure delivery of timely charitable receipts; liaise with Ceridian to facilitate the completion of monthly payroll; maintain calendar of events, meeting coordination & up to date membership lists of committees and groups; process volunteer applications, track volunteer hours, and assist with volunteer scheduling. Additional duties: Participate in organizational events as required including some Board meetings, the AGM and fundraisers.

Excellent communication/administrative skills; strong computer skills including proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook or Outlook Express; willingness to train on other software; very strong teamwork & time-management skills; commitment to social justice & sustainable community development.; F# J! j& g L% v1 e" v
