I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof.$ e- g+ _2 k. u# s

For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:% R) ^% Z2 p+ L- p

Why you call all stuff under ***\***\cookie spyware/adware? 3 T( o6 g! j# V/ K; J0 ^ - O+ j- {' ~ U* c1 \5 ?* IAll of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration. - V& o+ S- \, L) W" w- ^1 A8 i7 o
I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
