I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. $ t+ Y0 I& q3 D* _ + a. d7 I; Z7 s$ cSo just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:8 u4 P: q& Y1 c7 m% ]

All of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration. $ t; m8 F, D0 `4 T% E6 q' Q* L% f5 \
I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
