I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. / N4 [8 g, {7 Z7 g% j% |5 ` k! J; T
So just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder: ' |9 _. f r: @+ a# r/ K, Y! G$ l* b9 J$ A1 |: f
Documents and Setting\(your user name)\cookie or folder system32 to see what kind of adware\sypware already in your system 2 q! X3 f L' |' w7 v0 u

I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
