1。缺省建议使用firefox浏览器（内置Adware屏蔽，使用非Active X技术，中毒几率会减小很多）, 使用防火墙（比如瑞星、天网）关闭IE浏览器，因为IE被可恶的微软公司嵌入系统，所以无法卸载。因为IE使用Active X技术，更容易被黑客攻破。尤其是AdwareSpyware病毒，专门利用IE的Active X攻入你的电脑，记录你的电脑本地信息。有些网站用Firefox打不开，这时IE可以备用，使用结束后，再关闭IE. I6 j. l- Z, H7 m7 W

I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof.% ^+ @) J2 L: A$ W F4 q9 ?

For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder: H6 R7 z. W. W8 n$ R6 H& b2 z8 }

Why you call all stuff under ***\***\cookie spyware/adware? # B- k% W* u7 R! s! V# h6 Y- z 5 I$ c2 g' \5 y3 Z ZAll of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration. / s' s' q: k0 q* c' p# y7 `% G$ j0 _0 t% d8 b& i
I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
