I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof.( U& v) \2 r0 l

For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration. + \0 s/ Q2 G9 n. r4 c' U" M . L v' j: Z8 q' e* G" WI am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
