I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. - u2 @6 o8 t, c ! x0 o7 z# v& i* x2 t4 QSo just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder: & } N$ c9 V$ s' s9 j# i 1 [- w. [4 U( m2 b9 N+ PDocuments and Setting\(your user name)\cookie or folder system32 to see what kind of adware\sypware already in your system 8 q% H* x L2 ~6 p4 F: G; n" r

All of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration.! @/ D/ F9 |! T; x

I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.

不管什么原因，只要安全就好。。。你说得对，用得多的软件，漏洞多。但是，如果Ｆｉｒｅｆｏｘ相对安全（或者说黑客琢磨得少），何尝不是它的一个长处？
