I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. / `' a9 F# v0 ] i5 f % y2 }5 R" S: A( g" ~So just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:3 y3 [& L- g. R a- l% e

I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.

网络上，安全只是相对的，无论什么操作系统、浏览器、防火墙，仅仅能给我们提供一点点屏障，挡住的仅仅是像我这样的棒槌。

不管什么原因，只要安全就好。。。你说得对，用得多的软件，漏洞多。但是，如果Ｆｉｒｅｆｏｘ相对安全（或者说黑客琢磨得少），何尝不是它的一个长处？
