本人不是学习电脑的。不过有些酒话，供大家参考： ( Z* K+ U2 `8 l }: ]6 | 2 Q5 }# `0 t% }2 B+ [( Y9 a# c7 [. s/ y1。缺省建议使用firefox浏览器（内置Adware屏蔽，使用非Active X技术，中毒几率会减小很多）, 使用防火墙（比如瑞星、天网）关闭IE浏览器，因为IE被可恶的微软公司嵌入系统，所以无法卸载。因为IE使用Active X技术，更容易被黑客攻破。尤其是AdwareSpyware病毒，专门利用IE的Active X攻入你的电脑，记录你的电脑本地信息。有些网站用Firefox打不开，这时IE可以备用，使用结束后，再关闭IE. , {% a9 x# k2 N& \8 A- x3 r( p4 W# M
2. 如果使用Flashget 下载，没有正式注册用户，那么你的电脑应该有Adware /spyware病毒。建议使用NTFS关闭其中保存Adware文件夹的可写属性。 " u& ^7 Q' o: f, n+ i* `& M1 e. v! J9 Z% m6 q
3. 及时更新你的防火墙。建议使用最高安全级别。定期检查系统进程，不熟悉的进程要多注意，是否为病毒。9 X! P' A c R/ l" l* V
( F$ d* r9 ~- [' ~ e4。记住所有的杀毒软件都没有最新病毒的代码，所以，病毒总是出现在前，聊天、MSN下载软件电影要多注意。( E$ t4 y: w9 ?+ t4 B- O

5。 如果真是中毒，建议重新安装系统，因为这样可能比杀毒还要节约很多时间。而且杀毒也很难保证能杀彻底。
I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. * C8 Q, y3 [) r6 U6 @* D; d! N7 P- n7 e
So just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:8 I# ^7 ^ o5 u
+ x* D, w* i8 LDocuments and Setting\(your user name)\cookie or folder system32 to see what kind of adware\sypware already in your system 2 s# y& ]6 y! _/ M" k- t4 a' ` S v

All of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration.5 k3 X7 u6 }& W$ a

I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
