I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. 2 S# R" A& d) c . x& P0 A" o' E. T( h. RSo just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder:/ H; l# O3 F8 ~9 t% k* N A

I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.
