I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder: * q8 I2 i9 J# F' L1 I9 Z3 d) C; l% G* H# S R/ L+ l; ~
Documents and Setting\(your user name)\cookie or folder system32 to see what kind of adware\sypware already in your system : H7 i; J0 n4 j: J T& v

All of them are just cookies. If you do not like the activeX, in XP, you can just disable it in the IE configuration. 5 X6 G3 B F, u$ G8 t8 } ; s* S+ n, i ^9 MI am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.

不管什么原因，只要安全就好。。。你说得对，用得多的软件，漏洞多。但是，如果Ｆｉｒｅｆｏｘ相对安全（或者说黑客琢磨得少），何尝不是它的一个长处？
