Enhanced Respite Program

The YWCA Edmonton Family Services program is

5 I: |( s4 j+ _, L4 v( SCoordinated Enhanced Respite program at a variety of: w/ ^) G. A* b! _9 S0 i
locations in the city.
- R! `7 |3 a0 p& {- eStaff would provide respite care to parents or primary
, J: p! s6 M; `* w7 {1 Vcare givers of children with moderate to severe physical9 l! L( s5 a! Y1 W+ j7 D3 B& c
or cognitive developmental disabilities for shifts of three
% _6 @, T5 [: J& Q ]% w" e(3) or more hours per day worked. During the school# y3 t: U" s+ ?/ p2 ~/ w A
year, as the children are in school during the day, the0 w7 F/ e" X- T4 H ~4 |% N
bulk of the hours available will be late afternoons and" {( p7 x; |& u( G6 M' `
evenings or on weekends.
