Position: Youth Services Coordinator
Full Time Position: (35 hours per week)

Responsibilities
o        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
o        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
* n- G; P* x6 H* j  {o        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
o        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
; r) F8 v7 T* o) }$ r8 eo        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
o        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
7 J7 W" M8 N0 E: i% U$ Wo        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
o        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
9 p1 T9 R" l3 e3 ^' Jo        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
: I3 F% M1 [8 G) Ro        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
o        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

! D% n" D) H6 }7 p2 C2 FQualifications
o        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
o        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
o        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
1 N- A6 k8 [* f& b% @, ]o        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o        Willingness to learn

o        Requires police security check at the expense of employee and child welfare check
