1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of

measure layout.
* s& A, ]' ~' P; c6 C4 H9 K2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,, l/ N, V% e( |' z) M! u0 b+ U
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built' U: p ?6 V2 W3 o/ z% o3 o
drawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
0 o( ?# Y, E$ N) Z+ P& rspecification and installation.
! \' n' Q# F, F+ A" P3 b3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning6 F" X6 A! A1 H! {! F! Z5 G& T
meetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these0 k N4 ]" V/ o' a1 O
needs.
3 o& `% Q* Z5 \7 i: }4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering8 C5 r6 h$ c# }# y; Y
routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.( F# a+ E/ `- _' Q4 e
5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction
" H' p& O( A$ Kplans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job% X/ h4 D4 u: {5 m& J
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence
( d* G6 \4 q6 gchecks.
5 H6 H0 @% S2 p0 u; c& M6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect

7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,
+ q0 l) |! @+ o5 w) o9 T/ ^assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes4 Q' E* a$ t3 ^' P
and revisions.
' g8 B8 Q3 @2 U. h9 }- H8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job7 M9 N: W) i8 \9 t
inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.
4 \$ n6 V' C" f, ~: a9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.

11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a: S8 c, _! `! {' ?7 x$ e* v6 W {
related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and, [9 q/ S. ^6 ]% ?
experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general1 t% ~ W; A6 C; ~ ^ M6 u' ?/ M7 C
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
