Interior Designer

Responsible for activities related to design, space planning, layout, and

Coordinates and implements detailed space plans to address customer space

that do not have multiple designers and a design supervisor.

1. Consults with Sales Team in the layout, design and space planning of/ s% {8 z- h& W

measure layout.

product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built

3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning
4 f) O+ s# t, y7 b; qmeetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these

5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction

& Design (A&D) drawing sets.

/ Q0 M% i! ~2 @ \assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes

8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job& y5 p3 S/ h Z' c1 g

9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.) y0 _% W E; }. Z) I0 M
10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.9 w8 L' W! n/ \1 w5 l* ?' w7 H
11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review* @6 O9 I& A& z+ B

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a4 `. [& l, q3 j& v$ R: `% P
related field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and F" B2 R& P; Z- Y) ^2 }: }
experience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general0 M/ m' y1 a! m6 d' r
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.
