2. Performs programming, space planning, furniture selection, layout, casework,. `" N! U! | o! O" r
product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built

3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning
( c; ?) H; l5 ]7 Mmeetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these! U# `- B0 N2 [# w
needs.
* l" h% v% H, y3 [* x* ]4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering
+ M9 U7 f; k( v2 A4 O J4 Eroutine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems." {7 W1 W8 I2 X( O9 d
5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction
% ~' `1 H& q- X4 R% |plans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job* U: v3 B: t2 u: ^: g# o
site in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

7 K% p$ k; c+ _6. Validates plans against construction, electrical engineering and Architect M1 Z. N5 e% m* \' Q

7. Develops project specifications, double checks specifications against plans,; W; R9 t" ~6 p( m. J% J/ }! I
assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes

7 F4 @8 P, L' y7 ]1 x+ U8. Verifies the company design standards have been met. Provides on-site job

9. Tracks, records and ties design hours to specific projects for job costing.6 b W0 o+ a. z2 _
10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications.) ]9 {0 u* U' L
11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a
! o F- k* K9 n9 U3 R& y' ~- v2 I6 Brelated field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
: S- H0 z& R' m; [9 m1 G% eexperience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general
8 G$ M+ K* N; d! i/ Pknowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.) e, Z$ v, U( [& W3 H7 C& s) Y
( u" {3 S! G: v! HExperience with furniture design and specification software required.
