Interior Designer

to the Supervisor, Interior Design or the furniture leader in those divisions

product pricing, design and selection of fabrics and finishes, includes as-built
# c! _7 i, o$ ddrawings, block plans, space plans and finished working drawings for
" ]1 @* a/ N' l4 Hspecification and installation.
) ^* _1 n1 X6 B$ U6 s: g6 E3. Provides professional customer interface by attending client planning
- B* N( U8 U4 `. M' jmeetings to determine furniture needs and develops solutions to meet these' z/ e$ l6 t9 }& B
needs.
; g6 i* K$ @3 _; S) I6 p# A/ m4. Offers technical design and creative consultation to customers by answering) x6 T- r; q& I3 D! T& T4 ?& a" D
routine and highly specialized questions regarding furniture systems.
$ g8 l z# ?$ [/ N5. Coordinates, develops, and reviews proposed project designs and construction
/ Z4 c5 \+ q, Yplans. Prepares presentation material including color finish boards. Reviews job
5 O2 H' \* p& w5 X1 D+ d3 @% Rsite in order to perform accurate measurements. Will do plan-to-site adherence

assures specifications are ready for order entry (SIF file), and manages changes. V0 M- ~, u9 k' ]; G
and revisions.

inspections comparing construction drawings to final build-out.

10. Works with installers to ensure installation meets customer specifications., [: P& a6 z v1 |5 |/ i
11. Participates in work-in-progress (WIP) and open order backlog review

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:7 R! x8 V4 Y& _, s
' S/ G* B Z2 K9 U8 h* b2 eBachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minimum of two (2) years in a
; ^6 A/ }5 _, H3 a/ Drelated field; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and
' k9 P4 D& t- Y, R& e! Fexperience required. Prior experience in office furniture industry, general! T$ T1 U) Q' j8 }9 F( J/ R( K. b
knowledge of systems furniture, and experience in customer interaction required.- y8 G% D8 |- ~/ l s+ n
