Police warn women about Garneau sex assaults

EDMONTON - Edmonton police are warning women in the Garneau area after three women were attacked and sexually assaulted while they slept in their homes.$ v5 d* e: b( {" k5 I2 P) k& S
/ Y: v; e8 _, }- w4 PThe first attack was in February when a man broke into a home on 111th Street and 81st Avenue in the early morning and sexually assaulted a 24-year old woman. A man returned to the same residence earlier this month between midnight and 6 a.m. and sexually assaulted a 47-year-old woman, police said.$ l7 @% ^) \* k& Y8 z" t, T

The most recent attack occurred last weekend when a man broke into a house at 111th Street and 80th Avenue. He pepper-sprayed and assaulted a 21-year-old woman.
