JERUSALEM - Israel is sending disaster relief to China.

4 v9 J; ?- C0 S, rForeign Ministry spokesman Arye Mekel says a plane is on the way to southern China carrying clothing, medical supplies, generators and tents for victims of the May 12 earthquake.! Q5 _! u( l$ h

Mekel estimated the shipment was worth US$1.5 million and said it was due to arrive in China later today.
