The CSSA is organizing a trip to Vancouver and Victoria during the reading week (April 27 - May 2).

Here is some more information. We just finished negotiating the price with the travel company. The original price they are asking was $540 per person, but now they are willing to give a lower price to CSSA members. Non-CSSA members will be charged at the original price.

= $490 for CSSA-member (three people / room with 2 people stay in one bed.)
This price includes:
2 x  A% O" {, h4 d/ l  E: y- X- The transportation = Huge Travel Bus, includes gas costs and the driver for 6 days.
. H/ z" P7 S0 `6 B6 S" c# ?8 p. N- 3 Star Hotel = 5 nights
3 E: W' g8 U# S1 k

/ P* `& W0 Q5 v- 5 breakfasts and 2 dinners
1 u6 [: m, K$ O2 Q: i' d- All the admission tickets for sight seeing (e.g. the Butcher Garden in Victoria etc.)

- A Tour Guide from Vancouver

And in Vancouver, the Tour Guide and the Driver will collect $20 per person for tips. We tried to negotiate down, but there is no way they’ll accept our proposal. This is an extra cost in Vancouver.
