& _& Z  Z% I: j. z5 W6 V. {3 NWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
, g; _$ ?& Z8 V& J2 H8 s5 {Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
) j5 V) `- K, E' FWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
7 Y+ K, y/ r, {# C" `Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases
Qualifications
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
' n+ G( p- d- S- XStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
; E' V6 W3 Y3 q3 M) G% A' {* nAbility to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
