Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele

Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
% S. {/ {. Q" A7 p# r; aProvides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
# j; R' D0 E# A/ C1 t4 M+ AWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff% H: Y4 m' W6 A) R5 g% z
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
$ d* ^0 Y5 {3 Q3 z* Q0 ~Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP

Qualifications. c. [3 A( x7 Q0 Q
Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
) x- \2 b& x/ _- u2 E5 LRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
$ o5 p9 x! I( L' {Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
7 E& P% W: ^2 Z7 w4 yExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)& o) \: l' k9 ~* d
Strong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
