Job Description
1 `6 h2 r# }' ~! \- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
; a" N. |' J: y D: R/ U& J' I- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
. ]8 i) \" H) \3 f8 n& q- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team: R. @4 T; u% e! {6 p

Qualifications:3 C, m% J- ^% \8 C- h1 \
- post secondary diploma
, Y s; M' w) o3 T/ ?/ n3 u! X- customer service and office clerical experiences2 x7 P) V/ P+ x5 T- N8 e7 k- t! q* j
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

& O2 n* w$ j8 m) M; H5 ^- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
4 F# G3 N& \$ b% h- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services. r4 P3 n( d* Y! ]8 ~
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services j# c5 A- \ o
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies6 ?, g; s8 |! @/ g$ T' l
- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members9 J. _4 y. @8 ~9 ]0 d6 ]
- update ASSIST website
0 V, D/ p$ P9 \2 N- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
( t; n& k, M5 c, B- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services7 w6 n) S! I8 c3 A {
- assist in writing proposal for ISP
% ~$ v+ a4 H4 G/ J8 T- write quarterly and final reports for ISP% v0 T: e* W3 n# [8 U% R* _
- hold regular meetings with ISP team
6 y) H( c" R. P2 n1 z2 T- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

2 K1 h' ?! Z( X6 V4 eQualifications
% p2 z* O- d! B/ ]6 m6 a5 @' T. Y- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education 7 x& U2 h: n2 A5 V
- good oral and written Chinese and English skills( J- r' r4 l6 y! x- N: H- N) ^
- experience in community work and immigrant services
