Job Description
7 G0 A' p, S' Q1 Z" O- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.6 @9 f$ K7 X9 M. ~
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
4 u& ?3 k8 X- b5 y6 H) W- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:
4 D: @8 g* \0 K* r/ k$ R. g- post secondary diploma
4 R" P4 k/ I/ f/ p A% X5 b- customer service and office clerical experiences4 g7 g! [! D' h7 a! E% w
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community* L5 }! h! l) v% N0 K# b# G% q
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
8 S8 C, c+ E w- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
# K1 a, o& j; u" P9 s- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
# _# V: o+ q* U3 U) ]- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members+ }3 j9 y9 F/ ^7 W0 H: t* d2 ]
- update ASSIST website
+ y4 L! L U v# w* ^4 G, Y3 h- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
9 j6 w8 @3 h! q Q9 e( T0 t/ L- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
" P) @/ l, {# d# m. e8 G- assist in writing proposal for ISP0 D, d7 ~9 n D
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP( X: B, ~* U9 g, I
- hold regular meetings with ISP team
/ c. N% r$ b1 G- K- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

Qualifications) o, x( `2 m1 _( t/ p% [
- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
7 D% g% y% b. |: {2 w L# X- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
+ `. m2 C' W+ g0 K5 w8 O; u: f- experience in community work and immigrant services
& ?* t% y$ v. x0 B2 u7 `- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
