EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。; o* T2 H9 v% f' v* p+ H

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
) U! I' I: X, G, `1 v7 {% N9 Cbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
: h I- { `# K5 O1 Gof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different$ j' b. w* y! X- }6 N
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

1 R C" _" Y8 J3 pCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
