( n( }( C. L k0 W$ n4 nThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
& l* U; p8 k% R; H" jbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.( W0 X3 i. B/ u* g; i

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
: p" e" ~- j a) F; f$ y9 Nof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different. ` |. y3 n6 S0 i& G. W& o
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
