/ C6 L3 S* `4 e7 w7 YThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
, f) f7 c) G$ ?9 d" j5 }becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.% B/ e$ @' B4 K6 u5 `" K( k
- a6 e2 ]1 ~ I' ^) O) jTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials) ?! ~# e: J+ P" `- y) T# o0 v; r
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different9 B5 v: }: O. ?
