1 j$ D( o" ?% r5 e" n' @6 BEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。, V5 _9 J6 \3 ]. ]

. Z A) x: e3 L: T, T( M5 n% \& I0 N; AThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
% I" J6 ~4 I- N8 W( Q! zbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
4 s h- t% [5 p) ]6 m2 Dof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different8 j# d/ O: X: I- ]
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.

0 g! m& K9 q+ [! w' w% CCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
