This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for4 ^/ \/ A9 h) |' ?
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.$ \1 }# M2 {# a% f& x# [5 B
8 a9 E. s8 D3 C- F3 R, D' WTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
, O( ~, c% w7 y. ]. kof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different- E1 g+ w3 \. P+ C$ E. G

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
