EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。3 G7 [! q% v$ q: x: n/ d

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。2 b2 D3 y4 A3 [: m- Z) f" `- ?# L

3 |1 ^0 E/ v, x& @: pThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
3 @ t- c% f K3 ]- V# m% ] Dbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.6 l" d3 o! U' B% Z$ l& A" Z
6 \, d/ V v% k7 R' [( gTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials$ J) g, @: I9 s- o! O# }1 D
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different5 q0 N) v5 p% R3 _
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
