6 o1 Q6 h0 B. ^7 U& ~This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for& _% p% f( h( U- p$ Q+ k
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them., J* @0 U- B3 g' d2 ^

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
3 U2 n( q/ E( r' E4 Dof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
! e7 W& U" F0 Jcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.* G: O" y) F, b, M, R
% J' W- m# J8 zCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
