EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。5 {7 X: y6 G+ C' B# i. j
& P6 C& W1 \2 J a6 _, K! N/ H* M$ j时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
8 c5 ~; U) I3 E: q* u$ `* Tbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials2 y( l6 `$ V9 R7 f. V
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different0 f6 D W1 p6 I: G6 c2 X
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.. N5 @! O0 v: D$ f/ \7 H. `2 [
6 D4 I# p. L* TCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
