This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
3 B) `6 W. z4 s& V" a5 f) obecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.; F |. m* i: `3 Q1 @1 B# r
3 ~" Z0 `5 E) r \" x5 P3 OTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
. f/ G- v6 M# c# r: f1 r4 \of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different* f$ t$ _9 `% t1 {- t

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
