EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。4 k. F3 ~% G+ t

# z4 O5 I8 c& ^. R# qThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for" z% B, `+ v& o2 h
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

, o7 }8 y. @$ T, `5 U9 p4 `Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
/ c' l3 R- k- x1 V5 |, [ I Iof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different6 _( W4 @4 f0 u# H+ ~) g! E
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
