EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

Description:
6 F& X' V) h( q( ` z# PThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for% l* L8 L' o# W# u+ ^. N( ? {; X9 E
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

7 d G8 Z: ?* o3 w" |0 p- ITrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials1 Q6 [3 D* v& e9 z! p/ \: I4 N
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different+ D7 T9 _0 { U% L, Q3 @( N
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.; s6 C$ i' F }# j: r
' K' D n6 c. t7 ^& t2 e3 O4 |Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
