& @/ H& p) k7 t; ^ ^EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association，就是我们加入的那个协会）在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
' Q" H- X2 x3 C0 f0 F n- g% K9 vbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.% O; y2 Y8 J4 ?8 N! z, F
4 \2 u4 @. v- r# w1 OTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
) }. t8 I- Q- x) I! Mof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different- H1 [" |' {) ]+ l1 A! h4 @ j" i" C7 }
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
