EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。8 l' t' }* }; l
! T9 K% ^& p# n; O5 [" ~地点:The Derrick Club, 3500 - 119st, edmonton/ D" C; {2 K9 {, n% H

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for% o( s1 r0 T7 y$ I/ h; V2 Z
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
$ e! O' y3 s2 ?of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different, }( }. [' _6 |8 E
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.. r# A% W* k; _/ g6 n- A# G
4 R; m2 m8 ]) QCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
