3 L( b( p* j5 J4 aEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

# C! C6 ]6 ^2 j, zThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
2 O' j4 I/ O! E! @. d, bbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

/ Q, X$ P# O" ^0 n2 O% X- J* iTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials& r h+ [) p" b7 d- o9 n" w
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different7 I8 V# b6 g* Q. _+ y3 v
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
