0 d8 S$ p" [0 G* ]( U8 NThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for# y7 j2 f5 w# A( u+ E0 m
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
5 g7 |" b3 L K. m2 R. N/ {of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different, l0 S. y7 c+ p9 x" q
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.6 v: y7 j/ J' {. n8 P4 t$ B! h
