& w& M/ I5 D, O" J9 OEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
4 Y7 a( R! J" M, M1 B9 g3 b/ Ibecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
9 ^% H" P. }4 `of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different# x1 Z0 @4 } R- e
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.1 d# F9 K( L2 [) Z! e: I# z2 p! d. ~

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
