' V1 r7 t( G, X/ `4 \EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。8 h1 ?& T1 N3 p6 c* G# D1 ~
' E4 c8 \4 g$ M5 x$ i! v3 S( D# }0 Y) t+ c时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

, h" @; Q! T- E' b, N0 J3 v. ~This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
5 Y- q9 f- ?" a9 q7 }/ ^becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.- @' q. r" ]3 \+ Z1 \1 L

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials& B) r3 @0 B/ O# ~4 m
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different$ Y* d+ C C+ [
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
