8 ~" ~" ^+ o# O7 B, ?, A4 T$ oThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
! A9 r* t( [1 U E% ]+ U' F$ Kbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.% A4 V4 k) H: V: z

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
% u# D: \. |' Pof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
4 P; } J+ `& r5 P2 i/ c8 ^2 h) r( rcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
