0 U: Y- {" x5 z" ^This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for) y7 e! j. d6 j7 |
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.! l) F+ b0 b$ ^! `6 P( _8 ]

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
4 j$ {/ @3 f& A8 J6 K1 e- Aof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
4 @( c( j5 q8 G. W6 t; e) lcertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
