EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

; Z' h0 S* j3 Y5 W r: a0 lThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for Q4 _: A6 u0 q2 H$ e" O5 d1 U0 J
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

E/ H- `# O1 @$ G6 Y0 p" @: fTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials7 S! s' ^2 p" u% J3 W
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different7 `- K4 S) j1 v! Q. s
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.3 n ^! g0 Q( X* Z* w8 k6 N7 Z
2 y4 `; C, D j: lCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
