This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for, O5 f* ?! Y' e& w9 g# H9 y3 Z
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
, L, V* [3 X2 u0 E2 Bof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different# o1 E$ d. E* N- J' h: i, d% {2 u7 j
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.# _: V. t: z9 N* a
: G, U6 Q# q$ E# y! BCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
