% T5 ~$ X; }/ QEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

. T$ j, ^0 s4 o/ hThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
& L# w( q1 @/ U& Y& Gbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

8 F4 z3 }$ l7 m% bTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
6 d$ s4 J8 ^' Y. k! x& V' N( P% iof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different
; S# T) O9 x& a( K2 e, |4 S' e; f2 icertified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
