5 l, L4 J2 ^' W8 L NEDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

, p5 Z. m. i3 a2 j% LThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
) F* P' ^; {- W% P% Cbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

, I. A- }6 X1 c, l+ ~Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials, V: j4 N/ ~+ o; P
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different. J6 f$ V( z+ @7 ?
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.6 j6 H; C- j: C! t7 u& {" g" ~

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
