EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

Description:
0 P8 h0 f+ f4 J- c2 K2 v2 _This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for5 N- ]) j* G; Y- l: b2 O
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them." ?0 Z) m' [& C4 W% Z
7 T% Y9 t3 d$ V2 cTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
% G/ \8 |* y3 n0 {of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different& x4 F3 G1 R! d% Q2 J, t
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.$ C; @2 b- ^+ H+ s* N

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
