1 w/ e) P5 ^4 X+ t6 ^EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。& g7 {, j" I$ M
! N, U% Q7 S2 ?0 x5 I9 k时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。2 _+ d) c' J) x* a4 s

地点:The Derrick Club, 3500 - 119st, edmonton

" @: B/ y. d4 E& N& PThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
/ Q o- w4 w# f5 pbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.( L1 l& A9 ?6 |; u

Trainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
# {! i9 {+ x: C2 m' Pof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different+ f5 ?) ^5 Y; p' G) s/ N* C
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.1 H" v/ k( T1 x; s

Certified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
