时间：上午9点至12点理论培训，下午1点至4点实习。

) R* j6 L4 ]9 D HThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for( O) Z+ M/ Z k! Y; \
becoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

) c, M5 o, v. LTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials) x3 j+ O/ r6 ~$ g4 g
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different) i; B# V4 D& M+ H9 q0 G: D
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.2 p$ A/ P! m0 S3 T$ \
; u5 S" Y! o# x; N$ t' ?7 CCertified regional badminton officials can move on to become certified officials at the provincial, national, and international level. |
