EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。

7 B5 u6 Q! R r( ]! H, SThis is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
7 j' ~1 i2 F8 w6 K, C/ w5 y: bbecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.

* y) M4 C7 n0 R4 @( ^/ {! d) wTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials* R- W. @% ^6 X1 j
of Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different' P" ? i# W, ` Y8 r$ \6 N
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.1 H; f4 k' Z. U
