The Lunar New Year Firecracker Parade, hosted by the Chinatown and Little Italy Business Association, takes place on Saturday. ' W+ x# g( D P" K1 \
- The festival kicks off at 11:30 a.m., with an opening ceremony outside the Pacific Rim Mall at 9700 105th. Ave. From 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., lion dancers, dragon dancers and traditional Chinese musicians will move north along 97th Street, visiting shops and restaurants throughout Chinatown, setting off firecrackers.
