我不同意,我觉得vulnerable虽然在身体上和精神上都可以,但是是说容易受攻击被伤害。比如一个母亲带着孩子上街遇到坏人,这个母亲就很vulnerable, 但是母亲本身在精神上可能很坚强。而脆弱是说一个精神上很不坚强 ...

'fragile' means:$ K* N* ~; e% {# V: ?
1.easily broken or damaged
+ T7 i) m/ u7 G; s' a2. not secure: unlikely to withstand any severe stresses and strains' n& r; k# A5 P
e.g. a fragile peace; h$ G; ]4 ~- t9 V2 M* i! z; Z
3. physically weak. # E, b0 o% t* [% p
3 x* h- i g, W H3 _So when we say someone is fragile, it most likely than not means this person is not physically strong, very close to delicate. But I heard some people use it for the meaning you mentioned, but on kids. Therefore, personally I will still choose 'vunerable' and yes, it refers to both but both fit. |
