Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Skills and Abilities Required
" t0 w5 Y0 x, lExtensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
' t+ W3 k+ N" i' O7 K5 `# ?4 Q. ^
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.
# D+ S) L; D5 T0 q- z3 a( ]/ K
- `7 [  q5 [$ P7 l; AAbility to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

: T/ F, y% w. m& HPrevious industrial working experience is a great asset.

Bachelor or Master degree in cell biology, biochemistry or other related areas.
