ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
: ]3 D) o- ^2 u6 J/ cUniversity of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our
technology, we are currently seeking a highly-motivated researcher with
strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness
to apply for government funding with us.

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
1 m* |2 d+ x% Irelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
: }- ]/ ]/ ?; x  t" P( wcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
  m: C) ?+ D, V* |9 Sover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
accurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external

salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
