Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. 0 L `# p$ b$ _# l U& N& g
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan.

/ L8 \# N* H* S% ?5 GI normally strictly follow the amount for each ingredient the recipe calls for, except SUGAR( I prefer to cut it to ¾ or 2/3 of the recipe. It is too sweet for some Chinese. But if you like the sweetness of the Cake Mix you got from super market, you can follow the recipe.
