烤蛋糕

• 1 cup sugar
% M! X3 p) Z& v• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)* }/ S$ L$ ^$ G9 O3 ?8 m9 H
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)" M$ m! ~& I0 \" P2 [" X
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder 0 d$ J% i7 H* s; q- D' h h) b7 X
• 4 eggs, well beaten6 G1 k$ k( \" z6 J6 E* B1 C

Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.

这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。; S# l5 z$ y# P4 s
beating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
