Staff

• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends

# i9 D, y7 L3 h6 M. r8 @$ H• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities$ ^* l2 }. W5 v
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders9 B9 ^' a1 X# R, k0 o7 M
• communicate the value of the organization to the public9 P2 n' H/ ?- x g7 g) }' L5 g
• identify community needs and trends5 N* l. {9 G8 l z/ d7 s
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups6 D, ]% S# A9 F% F
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
/ P4 X& Q5 q1 s) \• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

- University degree in a related field; 9 k! i/ e! |* c4 ]' A5 J6 ?
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
8 x3 _( b# [9 ?% a- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
! Q! }) r F$ t# G* ]$ s: k- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization : D0 ^7 s) H% l. U u

- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits $ l% D& m+ c8 d* {# `
