• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities
* X* w' k8 m- _( l- C• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• conduct program evaluation/survey/research

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities8 y2 c7 m9 I. i& K$ v {2 S; B
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups; y+ { Z: n- V* ^# a8 S* h3 o0 o
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
& k6 W6 T9 R' h8 \0 E+ [' P• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.3 `8 L0 Z# P2 [: p
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff7 k0 @, w" G; y* I0 F# D

Qualifications
- _9 I/ @) F% ^" J. H, m! M7 ], ]# `- University degree in a related field;
& m1 N$ `& e/ K! D- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
: K& m$ c9 M; ]; B- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
1 V- H [- e- [* `. s* c5 r1 K3 x, \- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
