Staff

• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators

• overall management of all agency projects/programs and services

: [9 B2 f( M# M1 n, S• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

' K+ ]( D# W8 P% x, q |1 h• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

External Relations

• communicate the value of the organization to the public
9 c" |6 y( Y/ V$ f3 j+ |! n• identify community needs and trends
8 M& F0 I! n/ X4 a• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
' }: K) Q* X- X/ K& b2 \• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups4 @. f# n: {1 l" K1 }& M
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.9 e7 B* V0 B4 i; _0 Q O) H
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff- \2 H$ \$ n4 w! |

- University degree in a related field;
. R4 J& A* L b4 ?! x: X5 n! B; d- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;# P# C3 `9 |4 w5 ?0 W& p3 B
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management; & Y% m7 f' c& d& O4 h% ?: z* q2 k/ m
- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization ' w* ~ m! g" i; H" P) |1 b. c
' ?) k* I. f- c v. CSalary" R5 i/ L* \8 t/ G @& p
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits - s, ]- L4 h' Z
