Recently, the Calgary Health Region announced the program in an effort to improve safety behind the wheel. Bruce Conway, a spokesman for the Calgary Health Region, said the decision will affect about 25,000 employees beginning in the new year.

Employees will be encouraged to pull over for phone calls to protect themselves and others on the road. Conway admitted that enforcement of the new policy will rely on the honour system. |
