JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

, f2 |( B  w# T2 Y* m1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

. V* I7 B7 r5 p' X2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

7 a; ]3 r" @8 n0 y6 ^; O: p, k4 `4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

9 J6 ?, D9 f" I4 V0 T- A# h" B) L$ `1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
( J2 ]% z  K) y- T0 `! c
' p0 u( A% o, }3 r3 J2 ?2) Cashier experience.

( N8 k0 @% O8 P) @7 \* ]3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

' z; R  X. d8 I3 y/ j  l  Q4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

  S& V$ d- C9 H2 f/ m6 P, W5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
