After I settled down in Edmonton, I celebrated Canada Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Halloween and Remembrance Day. All of them arevery interesting to me, but I have to say that the most enjoyable holiday is Halloween.8 j; Y# @% `" _4 \7 |
My teacher told me I should prepare candies, and many children would come to my home and ask for them. So, I bought many candies from Zellers and Safeway. When I got back home with the candies, my wife told me that there were not enough, so I went to Safeway again and bought more.! m6 `, V, x$ t6 M! Q+ _& e" j- [
My child was shy and didn’t speak much English, so I taught her how to shout “Trick or Treat”. After two days of training, she is perfect at shouting “Trick or Treat” .

Chun Yuan, a Chinese girl, cooked some bouilli which tasted very delicious. Of course my wife cooked the best food because they were all cleared off all gone.. I; x4 E: C" P. G( y
After lunch, we had a party in the student center. Many students put make up on their faces and wore some strange clothingcostume. They were singing and dancing there. What a happy day!
