: h8 N$ W/ l: W9 R& t/ tPh.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
2 @0 O4 Z! Z  h! g. cPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
, L& _6 a* O2 {( o7 Uintegrated system/circuit design.

5 B$ x! k" x" g: i# F1 DThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
' Y1 }, S; h$ B: U9 y: B% _, x(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
# N& D$ g- y) Z(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
