Graduate Fellowships

Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
8 r2 v2 n1 \6 V3 Henthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
1 ?* Z) v' U7 y( R, f4 R2 BPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
/ `- l  q; c3 Y; p- ]integrated system/circuit design.

: }: f  W! {$ }% I1 e7 h. y0 R8 DThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
  I0 ~# H0 t  e7 l6 Z- p(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
+ F, M/ t9 S9 d. P3 c! c' D  y(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
2 S+ F) t6 b' C1 W: X$ B(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
& J2 a8 ^& f' l+ E2 q( D6 P(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
