a) 须获得微电子技术、计算机工程、电子电气工程、计算机科学或相关领域的学士学位或硕士学位。
( l  L) O/ R3 V$ O7 nb) 平均成绩80分以上（百分制）
5 f" v' l3 o6 w  J! ec) 托福成绩：笔试550分或以上，机试213分或以上
. ?' E2 v5 W" J+ {8 C9 sd) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣
e) 有良好团队精神

$ s) ?: a( p# c/ y4 u+ w7 kPh.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
# S; s4 {. }; J0 g9 v6 X' ~enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
8 z6 s1 E) H; ^% k8 Q& Aintegrated system/circuit design.

, g2 ~: j; m) l' {& G6 J; zThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
. }; s+ R* X2 _(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
