Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
! q5 F" T5 S0 o. `2 Zand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
+ s  M2 ]% o1 j5 U. s, f! iPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
8 t6 i  y1 k" e(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
, h/ P" U* H( w) F& Z7 _  i(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
, I" g  F6 u# Y3 X- W" W% h(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
9 P" u+ C5 l% k" `3 \% w' ^* F(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
