d) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣

Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
& _( V1 i) U% u+ \$ {enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
4 D  M) {5 L/ a6 Gand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
. S8 T9 w5 V- q0 f$ F1 Fintegrated system/circuit design.

. r, n- L9 R# z2 sThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
! |8 D7 z) I' z' j5 j(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
( O( C0 e6 P  N  k4 V( x$ j(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
