a) 须获得微电子技术、计算机工程、电子电气工程、计算机科学或相关领域的学士学位或硕士学位。
% S5 g+ p7 c5 U$ c* Y! t! Ib) 平均成绩80分以上（百分制）
- j" r2 `' I% Q, L2 z) o& Fc) 托福成绩：笔试550分或以上，机试213分或以上
d) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣
e) 有良好团队精神

Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
# H% C5 u9 J' X9 i! T: [  henthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
: d. D) I$ c9 _2 o! A! h8 xPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
; {7 y0 S! }' \& U7 Y/ Fintegrated system/circuit design.

5 s8 X: F8 d/ X: a& P4 U8 Z7 OThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
0 x4 k. `2 c5 `5 Z0 g(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
