7 K8 K7 V/ J+ h6 n4 ?Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
) F9 H$ z- h4 f/ u: P' {8 Oand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
( k* l6 p8 b, `, e5 T. Eintegrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
+ Q6 E' A% T! w, X& i(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
8 X8 S( d. I, p' w4 ]( _(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
