b) 平均成绩80分以上（百分制）

d) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣

Ph.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
2 [0 I6 I4 G4 A5 J5 nenthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
- H4 Z7 B- `6 c/ g3 b. K/ Iand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
9 S5 ^& \# z  S; F) g8 RPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
3 y( @( \7 {+ W) s- q3 @5 Ointegrated system/circuit design.

5 A# K% I* l8 B$ n! m$ G. [0 FThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
* ^, h/ g' n9 p$ k, y% e# [5 O/ B(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.

Interested and highly motivated candidates are welcomed to apply. Tuition will be
fully waived and a competitive stipend will be offered. Please send a complete
