8 F) z' a* V' i2 t6 OPh.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
! y+ S, u, Q& {% ~5 ]Potential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
$ K8 r  f. i$ t) M' P(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
! f/ C; ^+ ]5 s(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
( d( W. ]9 h2 |7 f% S5 p# Z(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
