d) 对电路/系统设计或计算机程序设计有浓厚兴趣

! w% q0 E, A* n7 kenthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
3 ]) {% f$ S# I4 L: J1 I. Wand circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
5 y8 k' Y& R. ?  K3 ^, XPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
integrated system/circuit design.

The qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
! Q! o: C3 l0 o  e  ~7 L4 U(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
4 e+ Q/ g, |# Y(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
' z7 M: e1 V6 l0 F(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
