' B6 ^5 M2 M1 t7 iPh.D. or Master's fellowships are available for suitable applicants who are
enthusiastic about research on Very Large Scale Integration (VLSI) systems
and circuits at Memorial University of Newfoundland, NL, Canada.
2 S  k# s, N9 DPotential projects are in areas of VLSI computer-aided design and analog/digital
/ R! e( \# Y( g( G9 R) J6 Yintegrated system/circuit design.

. c  Z+ a3 \; d; \0 kThe qualified applicants will meet the following conditions:
(a) Master’s or B.S. degree, background in microelectronics, computer engineering, electronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or related areas.
0 C: s3 A8 g" a2 V, M* X(b) GPA 3.2/4.0 (80% if percentage grades used) or better.
(c) TOEFL: paper-based score of 550 (or higher)/computer-based score of 213 (or higher).
, ?. h1 x: H4 x# D, l6 l7 ]' D(d) A keen interest in algorithm design or circuit/system design.
(e) A good team work player.
