The woman was driving a gravel truck two kilometres north of Westlock when it veered off the road. The truck rolled across Highway 44, trapping and crushing the woman in the cab.; i: ~3 z6 r, @1 z1 p/ Q/ q d

Audrey Wiedrick, 57, from Westlock, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to RCMP. She was not wearing a seat belt.* I5 W9 f' T, e% Z4 j
Wiedrick worked for Alberta Highway Services and was hauling a water tank and asphalt packer when the accident occurred, said Jason Maloney, spokesman for the Alberta occupational health and safety office.

"The truck is considered a workplace, that was the driver's workplace," Maloney said, explaining why they are investigating.7 u6 ~* O0 r1 |/ X

Maloney said they will look at the maintenance records of the truck and trailer, the hours the driver worked, and the weight of the units the truck was carrying. |
