JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
- G6 t$ Z3 K4 nSU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical . _3 W+ ?1 J: a V, A
Support, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects 7 N! M3 w1 w3 y5 e
of Course Pack production. T/ R( c$ d# C9 p# ?( k
$ b/ Z4 z$ z Y* O. g" s
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:+ }* c# |3 h9 g6 y
1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning
# {3 K; \7 r9 V1 R2 d0 g6 z4 kof paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.

5 w9 z2 m% f% }8 L) j0 d* Y2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including
! @3 W1 I+ N S% O8 p6 J; uprint queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.

. w, H2 [& l/ M0 O. V5 } U3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
( c+ J, @! ?' m( Ncourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and
' }8 D( L$ ^! Q% M3 L6 B- l! Z Jkeeping appropriate and accurate records.- {/ B8 @7 @9 u3 U8 F
4 C: t* K- c4 a6 R7 M; E4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment 4 S. F/ \& T/ P( X
failures to the Operations Manager.8 I" U @ \: W
6 R/ H' K7 s) L. @5) To develop a working knowledge of Access Copyright requirements,
! O( v1 F! s) x/ p; xand adhere to regulations as appropriate.

QUALIFICATIONS:0 i* p( U- e/ u
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.7 Q1 s- ]: J6 r2 Y p3 Q. M
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication 8 r( j- {, U& w- u' a) F4 K
skills.

3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.0 X4 `5 F+ z! m, ~1 I, r5 b

4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.
